Review 1：A beautiful old building with excellent rooms and the town is a delight. We stayed as an overnight stop on the way to Italy but could happily have stayed here for a few days

Review 2：the rooms, the staff, the owner, the breakfast, the decor..... everything ! For those of you used to 4 and 5 star hotels, do not be put off by the 3 star rating. It is better than a lot of hotels rated at 4 and 5 star. If I get the chance I will be back for longer than just one night !

Review 3：Fantastic location for the town centre, staff were all amazing especially as we were travelling with a three month old baby. Rooms were clean and well equipped, the shower was one of the best I've ever used. Didn't have breakfast but restaurant room looked very clean and tidy.

Review 4：This is a very lovely hotel and we were make most welcome. The furnishing is exceptional. Breakfast was superb and parking was straightforward. Plenty of restaurants nearby for evening meal.

Review 5：Our room was stylish and spacious with an excellent modern bathroom. The hotel parking is very good for a city hotel. The hotel is near the city centre, with many restaurants within walking distance. The Monastery at Brou can be reached on foot in about 15minutes.

Review 10：The staff and facilities wonderful. Francois Andre spoke excellent English delighted to let us do our best in faltering French. Breakfast was delicious with local baguettes and honey, plus scrambled eggs fresh, first-rate. We planned to stay one night and stayed three.

We enjoyed a wander around Bourg en Bresse followed by dinner at a restaurant recommended to us by the hotel manager and a nightcap and game of pool back at the hotel. We stayed overnight on our way to Provence, had a great night's sleep and went on our way happy after a relaxing start to the next day. We definitely made the right choice of hotel to break our journey...and we are generally very fussy! Would love to see the hotel open it's own restaurant...but then we may not have taken the time to explore the town a little...so perhaps it's not a bad thing!

Delightfully peaceful oasis of quiet & luxury. We only stayed here one night as a stop over on way back to UK from Cote D'Azure but would happily have stayed longer & will certainly return

Review 54：Absolutely dementing fire-warning system that flashes at you all night. They really need to fix this. A serious issue for light sleepers. The only option is to illegally cover the flashing light with something.

Review 56：Finding the hotel by car was a nightmare as there was no clear name outside the hotel, and was on a one way narrow street. If missed had to find our way around the town to get back to the street. Not easy!

Although the hotel is in the middle of the city there is sufficient private space of the hotel to park your car. The hotel in a beautiful old and cosy looking building looks fresh and inviting and is well maintained. The reception was very friendly. I had a standard room but this was perfect with flatscreen television, bathrobe and a clean bathroom. You can not have dinner in the hotel but there are several restaurants on walking distance from the hotel. I received a good recommendation from the receptionist to go to Place Bernard were I had some excellent Volaille de Bresse. Breakfast was very good with assorted meat and cheese, yoghurt, etc with fresh orange juice. Very nice. All in all I had a great experience and certainly will come again.
