Review 1：Fruit be mere although on menue was unavailable even if ordered night before. "Too late" ! Feel of place was more like a retirement home than a luxury hotel with small rooms off long corridors, and we chose the best rooms!

Review 3：Lovely hotel with friendly English speaking staff. Pool & gardens very nice. Marine rooms with small patio perfect & away from any noise from the main hotel (there was a wedding on at the time but hardly noticed any noise).
Review 4：The proprietor was out and the stand-in running the restaurant took orders in the wrong order and managed to get a number of people served before us who had arrived later. No apology or explanation. We were very hungry by the time we were fed and this took the edge off a fine restaurant. Regulars told us this was not the usual experience.
Review 5：The attitude of all personnel. Because of a translation mistake by Booking.com our booked room was different from the one offered by the hotel. They managed to find what we wanted, which was much more expensive and gave us a free upgrade. The restaurant was outstanding.

Review 32：I didn't like the fact that the hotel does not have wifi, but won't admit it and gives every guest the same excuses when they ask why they can't use their laptop or, in my case ipad. It was very important for me, that I should be able to use Skype during my stay.

Review 36：The ambience and the decor were delightful - even on an unseasonably cool, damp Monday in May! The dinner in the restaurant was a highlight! Superb meal with exceptional service - we would love to go back!

The room (No 114) was disappointingly smallcompared to the two other hotels stayed at during our tour. The doublebed was short and coffee/tea making facilities would have beenappreciated. The tv had many French channels but an English news channelwould have been appreciated. Air conditioning comprised a room fan.
Review 40：Attractive building with marine theme to its decor. Peaceful locationyet within only a few minutes walk to the Noirmoutier town center. Manyground floor rooms have doors out to a private terrace with sun-lounger,table and chairs. Reasonable outdoor pool and sun-deck. Hotel bicyclesare available to hire - good, as the Island is flat and most roads havededicated cycle lanes. Adequate breakfasts and a free soft drinksminibar included in our b&b rate. The restaurant for evening mealsappeared quite busy.

Review 43：Just minor points: we'd have preferred airconditioning, though the powerful fan was a good substitute; the WIFI which the hotel card claimed was in the rooms was rather on-off; and on one evening they forgot our desert order, so it was pretty late by the time we finished (but this did not happen the other time we dined there).
Review 44：Very pleasant setting in garden around swimming pool, with tennis, table tennis, golf, and especially bicycles for hire. Indoors cool nautical theme: carefully produced food, and, useful during our Olympics, a TV room (with French TV or Eurosport in German!). lots of easy parking among trees. Near enough to centre to walk (or cycle) in to a restaurant or the market, but out enough for the ride to the beaches, or to see salt being harvested, to be quite short.

Review 46：The team couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable, the locationwas perfect, a short walk into the town and the finest food, fish andwine in the hotel restaurant, with bikes to hire (recommend doing this),lovely pool (towels provided) and gardens. Beds wonderfully comfortableand clean. We booked Fleur de Sel very last minute and feel lucky tohave found such a gem! We will be back :)

Review 51：There was not anything we disliked about the hotel. We had a ground floor room and there wqas no window to leave open at night and there appeared to be no air-conditioning in the bedroom.But that was not a dislike, just a comment. It did not spoil our stay.
Review 52：This was our third visit after 24 years. We like the owning family. It is quiet and peaceful and run by the owners who live on site. We had good memories of our earlier visits. It is a good location from which to see the rest of the island.
