Reviews for Albergue Inturjoven Sierra Nevada

Review 1:A set of steps up the back near the ski lift would be a useful addition to the premises which would cut the distance that has to be traveled in ski boots! Apres Ski was pretty much non existent in this area during March as far as we could see, you made your own fun but there is plenty of nice restaurants etc having said that.

Review 2:Proximity to the slopes, the buffet meals in the evening were very good value for money and gratefully received after a long day on the slopes. Showers were strong and hot which was nice for the aches and bruises.

Review 3:Due to the location there was not much transport available. Its good that it is right by the slopes, but after 23:00 if you wernt on thepublic bus it would take you an hours walk uphill. A shuttle bus wouldent be a bad idea even if it would have cost me 20 euros for 1 trip i would have taken it.

Review 4:Everything in general was good for the price.

Review 5:Although the hostel was in a lovely location right up in the mountains, I didn't think it was very convenient. We had to get a bus down to the centre to rent clothes, equipment and to get a cable car to our lesson. Therefore it realistically wasn't of any advantage to us that the hostel was so close to the slopes.

Review 6:I wouldn't say it is a 'dislike', but you need to be conscious of location when staying here. It's at the very top of the mountain, very close to the slopes and a chairlift (which is fantastic if you want to hit the slopes before the masses). But it's not ideal if you want to go out in the evening. The chairlift from the village up to the hotel finishes around 5.30PM (or whenever the queue finishes). There is a cheap bus service from the village up to hotel but I don't know what time this ends if you fancy staying out for a bit of late apres-ski.

Review 7:Amazing value for money. Clean, warm room. Great shower. Fantastic and very affordable dinner and breakfast buffets. Social room showed a DVD both nights we were there and it had a nice hostel feel about the place. Very friendly and professional staff. Good mix of people, nationalities and ages. I would feel happy staying here regardless of age.

Review 8:It was a bit farther from the slope than I had thought.

Review 9:Very clean and nice building. Everything seems really new. The staff wasvery nice and welcoming.

Review 10:The price for lunch and dinner was with 8€ a bid expensive.

Review 11:I liked the facility, which was spacious and comfortable. And the public room was very nice with nice furnitures, very big, TV and internet. Water was hot and breakfast was plenty. The heater was also working, so I enjoyed my stay.

Review 12:Corridors and communal areas noisy due to school parties

Review 13:Fantastic position, close to pistes and lifts. Warm welcome and excellent clean accommodation. Corridors and communal areas noisy due to school parties but plenty of space and well designed to cope with large groups. Friendly and adequate staffing. Would certainly recommend especially for families.

Review 14:but not enough, use your ski jacket as an extra pillow, bring a sleep mat. the space needs to be blocked with your ski suit pants if you go to bed early and do not like your room flooded with light every time the corridor light comes on

Review 15:Pillow is soft, bed firm Door has a ventilation space at the bottom Staff have a set of car jump leads !!!

Review 16:I cannot find a traveller labeled "Divorced Father and youngson" in the list above so have had to click "Family with youngchildren"

Review 17:A basic warm hostel with buffet meals. A good car park with a frequentbus service into town. Ideal for just sleeping as no real comfort and nobar, but what more does one need after a hard days skiing? ...... andthe two pool tables were not working

Review 18:very far from village center. it's about 45min walking downhill.

Review 19:Cheap price, nice mountain view

Review 20:Distance from Chairlifts No Lockers

Review 21:Private Bathroom Good value for money

Review 22:No double bed

Review 23:It was good value and close to the ski lift and cheaper parking thanthe village.

Review 24:Kinda cheap, quiet.

Review 25:v isolated...no cash point so went to bed hungry unable to use vending machines

Review 26:nice building...warm and clean...nice food
