Reviews for Hôtel Du Patti
Review 1:The staff was rude, the rooms were dirty, the hallways when you got off the elevator were dark and you had to search for the lights to turn them on, the bed was VERY uncomfortable. There was no shampoo, conditioner or soap in the bathroom. Terrible experience overall.
Review 2:Nothing.
Review 3:Disappointed by location of hotel although it was in the centre of the town, outlook was poor. Difficult to locate evening meal restaurants. Not enough to do in the town, it seemed to be a one day visit location.
Review 4:Could hear traffic, (especially motorbikes) - but only to be expected in town.
Review 5:Convenient location for town, good meal in restaurant, comfortable, cheerful room.
Review 6:Staff was great, I arrived sleep-deprived and could not figure out safe. Manager was helpful and patient. Night staff was helpful in figuring out transportation. Quiet even though I had a 2nd floor room on the street. Stayed there late Sept and thought it was great value. Breakfast was unremarkable but adequate. Best way to access is to use elevator in parking structure betwn Office of Tourism and Place du Patti
Review 7:Windows looked out at the street, eye level with the ankles of people passing by, very noisy. Walls were dirty and bathroom/closets smelled like smoke.
Review 8:Staff were friendly, but overwhelmed by a large tour group. Location was very convenient. Linens and furniture were clean.
Review 9:I've booked 2 double bedrooms but when we arrived (about 7 pm), they had only one for us. We (4 persons) had to sleep in one bedroom because no other hotel was available at this time! We stayed only overnight but I've not sleep on a such uncomfortable bed a long time! Very tiny room, old furniture & terrible breakfest..only sweet food, no ham or cheese.
Review 10:We put in a special request to arrive between 09:00 and 10:00 but on arrival we were told our room wouldn't be ready until 14:00. We were allowed to keep our luggage in the reception cupboard which was helpful thank you. However, on returning at 14:00 our room still wasn't ready and had to go upstairs to check it ourselves.
Review 11:Staff were friendly and spoke good English.
Review 12:Bathroom ok but could need some improvements. We decided not to take the breakfast at extra cost.
Review 13:Service minded staff with well spoken english. Free wi-fi much appreciated! Good location. Several parking options nearby. Refrigerator !, not minibar, in the room.
Review 14:The restaurant and lobby looks really mice but the elevator, corridor and rooms are a bit old and worn out if you like.
Review 15:the hotel is pet friendly and the AC was working well.
Review 16:Breakfast lacks variety of item and is considered too pricy as compared to other hotels that we stayed in South France for about 1 Euro more.
Review 17:The staff both days and especially the cook ans the front desk staff on our first day
Review 18:Poor directions from website. Very disappointing breakfast for the price - obviously industrially produced fare - I can buy the same in the cash and carry at home.
Review 19:Pleasant welcome
Review 20:Considering Grasse is a very touristic town, hotel receptionists must speak english. Is not acceptable that only speak french.Very expensive hotel related with what they offered, but enought only for sleep one night if there are no more options.Last, no easy access by car, difficult to find.
Review 21:The situation in town.
Review 22:Our fridge didn't work!
Review 23:We loved the location, very good for our purposes and close to the picturesque part of the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with no frills. It was perfect for our purposes - a 48 hour stay for a wedding.
Review 24:The lobby and the facilities (e.g. the terrible lift): to be urgently renovated Traffic (!) in the narrow streets around the hotel
Review 25:The bed: nice and comfortable The position, very central The public parking: cheap and efficient
Review 26:If youve ever watch Faulty Towers you can now live it. Confusion reigns at this place. Room staff had no idea what a "do not disturb" sign meant even though it was written in seven languages. Reception had no idea if there was an iron in the hotel eventually and they couldn't fix satelite tv for two weeks that I stayed. AVOID STAYING THERE AT ALL COST
Review 27:It is a confortable hotel. It is waiting for the third star There is a very good restaurant! To try. One of the best in Grasse. It is in the heart of the town. It is close to two parking.
Review 28:Wondered why no one else was dining outdoors under the olive tree. After ordering I found out. Lamb chops were cold - I even wondered if they had come from another kitchen. Cost was up though. Head for the town square - plenty o f dining options there.
Review 29:Location, helpful staff. Overpriced for a ** property.
Review 30:My only discomfort was other guests lack of courtesy to fellow guests-in particular, letting their room doors slam shut at all hours.
Review 31:Franck at the front desk was extremely helpful with tips and arrangements. He truly made my visit to the area successful and very enjoyable. He's the gem in the place. The hotel is very charming and the staff friendly and helpful. It is well located for enjoying the sights of Grasse.
Review 32:The breakfast buffet is really poor, even for the cheap price, very few food options (just white yoghurt, toasts and pastries), no options for vegetarians or diabetics. I would return to the hotel but wouldnt pay the breakfast.
Review 33:Excelent location, fair price, very friendly and helpful staff
Review 34:Floor in our room could have been cleaner. Air conditioner was so noisy we turned it off despite the heat. Breakfast was quite limited.
Review 35:It was a roof over our heads and was much better than spending the night in our car.
Review 36:The 'buffet' breakfast was not a buffet. An assortment of prepackaged mini muffins and a box of coco pops was all that was available. No hot food, no cut fruit, no fresh bread - nothing else, very disappointing as they charged buffet prices.
Review 37:The location was great, very central and walking distance to the fragonard museum. The picture on the website is a little misleading though - looks like the hotel is in the countryside when in fact it is on a noisy street across the road from a supermarket.
Review 38:Too simple breakfast and old-fashioned terrace.
Review 39:Great location in the heart of the city and bus station. Staff was helpful. Refrigerator in the room.
Review 40:Good location. Simple yet reasonable rooms.

Review 72:Unique, great location in town centre, superb view
Review 73:Nothing really.
Review 74:The location of the hotel was perfect; 5 minutes walking from anything worth seeing in Grasse. Also, for the price of a 2 star hotel, the hotel room was very cozy, clean and nicely designed. All in all a very nice and cheap place to spend a night in Grasse.
Review 75:Breakfast poor. Coffee really bad. In my stay were constrution works around- wake up at 8 am guaranteed.
Review 76:Very good place. In the city center near the bus station. In a historical center.
Review 77:How tiny the room was compared to the photo. And the restaurant is not open for dinner.
Review 78:The young receptionist was super nice. She spoke fluent English, too.
Review 79:It was almost impossible to find. Park at the Center for Tourism and then walk there. Do not make the mistake of trying to locate it before parking. Ended up down a half-road...our tiny car barely squeezed through (we had to pull the mirrors in). The staff was not pleasant. The credit card machine did not work for swipe cards (mine and the gentleman in front of me) and the front desk person said it was my card? No AC. No kettle.
Review 80:I liked that it was located in the old part of Grasse. The room and bathroom was adequate.
Review 81:The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is excellent as very central. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and very good value.
Review 82:The rooms were over-priced. 2 or the rooms we booked needed switching - one was dirty, the other had a leaking toilet. Breakfast was VERY mediocre and poor value. Finding the hotel was very difficult and road access was poor. Parking was in nearby multi-storey which did not feel secure.
Review 83:Receptionist was extremely helpful
Review 84:the room is smaller than I expected. And the front gate is closed after 10pm. I have to all the staff to open the door for me.
Review 85:the location is good and the staff are really friendly
Review 86:Simple burglar friendly door, no safety box in the room.
Review 87:It met my expectations more or less, even though I had expected a slightly higher standard; better lock on the door, safety deposit in the room.
Review 88:nothing.
Review 89:Very efficient and friendly staff. A restaurant with rooms. Cuisine excellent. Best homemade pasta ever tasted! Charming village, close to bus station so easy to explore. Will go back.
Review 90:A little expensive.
Review 91:Pleasant hotel, great views, easy access from the car park. Use gps tofind. Very central to the historic centre. Be warned that most if therestaurants in Grasse close at 7pm. Fortunately the hotel has a bistro.
