Review 1：In the evening the water was no longer hot.
Review 2：The owners Vincent and Christianna were welcoming and helpful; the location is splendid; and the breakfast was very satisfying.
Review 3：It would have been nice to have coffee/tea-making facilities in the room for early morning. There is no on-site parking and although we had no trouble with street parking in the off season, we wonder if it would be different in high season.

Review 12：Very nice hotel in three adjacent small old houses, beautifully renovated. Good location in the second row from the beach. Some rooms (like ours) have sea view. The owners are very friendly and helpful and also run an excellent creperie in the ground floor. Breakfast was very good (but is billed extra). Wi-Fi worked well. Houlgate is a very nice village. We chose Houlgate and the hotel, because other more famous Normandy seaside villages were already fully booked, and we were pleased. The village is small, but lively with a lot of good restaurants and activities.

We were greeted by a charming proprietor who went lout of her way to explain about parking, wifi etc. The continental breakfast was very good and plentiful. The location of the hotel is excellent and a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars. We are already planning a return trip and hope that the weather will be kinder to us next time. We do not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Review 30：this was the nicest hotel that we visited out of 4 on our trip to Normandy, and I think it was due to the personal treatment you get from the nice lady who keeps it. Very nice food in restaurant too.
Review 31：Room was too hot. A mobile air conditioning unit was provided but it was very noisy. We were in what appeared to be recently added rooms and I imagine the main,older rooms wouldn't have this problem.
