Review 1：The hotel rooms are old, The hotel wals and carpets smell of 100 years of peopple smoking, it is impossible to stay in the very small Loby because it smells so bad...

Review 3：Hotel is in need of renovation, but fine as a base to explore the region. Rooms at rear have no view at all.

Review 6：Ok - so everyone thinks it's dowdy and a bit grim. But it's roomy and clean and everything works. Our room fronted the street and we had not one but two sliding glass doors with a lowerable metal shutter between them to keep out noise and light. They don't have a 'proper' breakfast room and therefore hope you breakfast in your own room. We chanced the 2 tables near reception and breakfast arrived fine and dandy against all the odds. So all in all it's ok. If you worry about what it looks like go elsewhere (and be woken by the bin men at 5am - see Hotel Patti) otherwise it's fine. And no problems with the 'mad' owner - he's fine too.

Review 11：Almost everything, This hotel has not spent any money on it maybe in 30 years. All the hotel smells like ashtray. Some of the receptionists were really neglecting. Awfull lightning in all of the hotel, Air conditioning on the description but it doesn´t work. Poor bed an poorer bathroom

Review 13：Room was very dated and need a complete refit. Staff were very rude and unhelpful. The square opposite had kids playing football and riding scooters from 10.00 pm at night until 2.00 am in the morning !

Review 15：Air freshener/cleaning solution didn't mask odors in the room. It was hot in the room and we only had a fan. Only rooms facing the front have air-con. We stayed 3 nights in Grasse but went elsewhere for the other 2.

Review 17：Frustrating wi-fi. Weird perfume they spray after cleaning the room. I appreciate the effort and service but to an aspiring perfumer's nose, it literally caused a headache.

Review 18：The most welcoming and enthusiastic part-time staff Jonas. Whatever the hotel is paying him, it should be higher. His bright smile made my stay much more enjoyable. Also, TV had a lot of channels.

Review 19：Toilet seems very old. Please pay more attention to remove mold on edges of wall. Shower curtain is too long and it blocks the sink hole, in addition to that it made that little shower booth even smaller. I was a bit shocked my side table by the bed was found broken in two pieces. When I lean on the edge of the upper part, it fell on the floor! it seemed like they just piled two blocks without screws or glue. I didnt get hurt but anubody could.

Review 20：I didnt ask his name but there was a young staff who was very knid and smily. Manager doesnt have a kind face but he helped me out with parking and getting me a pot of hot water to my room with no charge. Location is right at the center and its c only 1min walk away from panorama viewing terrace just like the name of the hotel.

Review 37：It's the best price you can find in this area. A budget hotel which is still good for the price. There's a bus nearby going to Cannes, but unfortunately buses went on strike during the festival, which made the travelling to Cannes a bit more complicated but not impossible.

Review 39：The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and they were of great help to another guest who was having difficulties because there was a bus strike between Grasse and Cannes. The hotel is very close indeed to most of the musées and the parfumeries.

Review 40：The hotel is dated at best. The lobby is tiny, the rooms have orangecarpets that show the wear, and the furniture seems to be from severaldecades ago. While our room did not have a shower curtain (which madethe bathroom look like a bathtub after we were done), our friend'sroom did. The matress was soft, which left my husband and me with sorebacks each morning.

Review 41：The manager, Silvan, made this stay memorable. His English wasexcellent, and he made it his duty to not only give us the informationwe asked for but also any additional information he thought of that wemight be interested in. His presence made this hotel a win. The roomswere spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and - since we had the'top' room type - the considerable outside noise was wellblocked. The breakfast served in the rooms was great.

Review 50：The city centre location of the hotel and the very reasonable cost. We paid €75 euros for an en suite double-bedded room on the top floor with a view over the city. The hotel has a good discount deal with the car park nearby (Honoré Cresp).

Review 51：If you happen to be allocated a room that looks over the internal areaof the hotel, then it can be very dull and boring and, indeed, it is asad sight that makes you want to leave straightaway. If, however, yourroom looks onto the valley and onto rue honore cresp, then it makes avery big difference - then it is very bright, airy, roomy and since itis double glazed, the noise below does not bother you at all. Theproblem is that when I made the reservation on the net, I was not awareof the fact that clients can choose between the inner rooms with no viewat all and the external rooms that are nice and bright but which have anextra charge of ten euros - and it was only after we spoke to thepatron, that we were given a different room .... and my god, howdifferent it was then !!!

Review 60：Very Little. The building is old so is the equipment. The receptionstaff was not available at the time of checking out There were threeother couples who had been waiting for thirty minutes. My daughter hadforgotten a small birthday gift meant for me which she left on the bed.She rang the hotel later in the day while on the way to Lyon but wastold that nothing had been handed in. This establishment should beclassed as a hostel not Hotel. Ifb breakfast was required, it hads tiobe ordered the night before so that it could be brought in from outsideto the room. The lift was tiny, inadquate for more than two persons letalone their luggage.

Review 63：On arrival there was a misunderstanding - later resolved by the owner.But it could have been prevented if the young lady doing the check - inhad not said the room was unready - when it was - and a mistake in theoriginal booking could have quickly resolved. But - in the light of allthat then happened to placate the situation - this was a minor event.

Review 64：It's location is excellent, with stunning views across the whole valleyand immediate town. The owner is also a very honest and genuine guy. Wehad a misunderstanding, which initially looked like it might spark intoan shouting session, however as soon as we both realised that there hadbeen elements error on both sides he was generous in his acceptance andthe matter was resolved in a friendly and understanding way. This goesto show that this is a hotel owner who not only has pride in hisestablishment, but he also knows how to deal with guests and hasconsiderable experience in the industry. I would recommend this hotel toanyone who wants a base in the area.

Review 65：The receptionist who greeted us was very friendly and gave excellentrecommendations for both lunch and dinner- we tried both and lovedthem. He was very friendly and also gave us information about what todo in Grasse and had written information and maps that were veryhelpful. Review 67：The location is very good for visiting Grasse. There is a few parking place just in front oh hotel, and it is free of charge.

Review 68：The room description when booking on line said large double bed however we had two single mattresses side by side and this was not comfortable or what we wanted as a couple. Also the TV was very small. I found the system to open and lock room doors unmanageable so when my partner went off to his business meeting I felt that I was marooned in the room unless I sought assistance from the reception.
