Reviews for Les Loges Blanches

Review 1:Apartments getting a little worn: some minor refurbishment would help.

Review 2:Heated outdoor swimming pool. Excellent room cleaning each day. Underground parking. Walking distance to town and Jaillet lift station. Superb beds.

Review 3:As it was low season reception was only open at certain times and the bar and restaurant was closed.

Review 4:modern stylish studio suite perfect for our needs with beautiful view of the mountains.

Review 5:We were in the room for people with limited mobility. It was spacious and well equipped for people in wheelchairs. The staff at the reception responded immediately to our needs.

Review 6:Did not like the way the shower flooded out of the tray and onto the rest of the bathroom floor. Would have liked sitting chair in room

Review 7:Balcony view, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom

Review 8:Parking costs 15€ a day. Toilet separate from shower and so tight to use even for children. Space of Appartment.

Review 9:The location. Megeve is beautiful and you can access many locations by car. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Supermarkets and restaurants are a walking distance. Staff were very helpful.

Review 10:All very minor issues...I didn't like the fact that 2 people have to sleep on a sofa and a pullout bed. but I knew that when I booked. Plenty of pans provided but 2 big pans don't fit on the hob at the same time !

Review 11:We loved the huge corner balcony of room 13 which caught the first and last rays of sun, the beautiful wood used throughout the apartment, it really felt luxurious. Bathrobes and slippers provided and excellent shampoos and other products. We didn't use the pool because it was too busy at 18h00 when we got back from biking but it looked beautiful and must be warm! There was no bar - a missed opportunity for the place to make some money there !!

Review 12:They start this year to charge for the parking!! There was a constructions happening next to our balcony/ the main building (A) with too much noise starting early morning.

Review 13:Free wifi The staff was so friendly

Review 14:Parking too expensive (staff kindly suggested free public parking lot 2 mins walk away). Breakfast buffet very mediocre in terms of choice and quality of ingredients/products. Restaurant not open in summer for lunch/dinner. Noise insulation not wonderful (could hear noise from other rooms, though I've experienced much worse places). Some wear & tear on door frames.

Review 15:Vert quiet place (nice for us traveling with an infant who wants no noise when it's his nap time). Luxury chalet style. Ground floor 1 bed + living room apartment was excellent with direct access to the large garden. Easy walking to supermarket (5 mins) and to town (15 mins, I am not a fast walker). Kitchenette had a dishwasher. Clean.

Review 16:-limited space for the table plus two chairs

Review 17:-spacious balcony -nice (smallish) outdoor pool -room facilities/design -very comfortable sunbeds at pool

Review 18:The bar was not open when we were there, we wish we were informed to bring things to eat and drink. We had to go out to eat and we couldn't shop because every shop was closed after 6pm.

Review 19:The outdoor pool was great, we just wished there were more seats around the pool and maybe some more umbrellas.

Review 20:The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathtub had hair in it when we arrived and the coffee was horrendous. Before arriving, I informed the hotel that I have a gluten intolerance (though my husband and daughter do not) and was told for 2 days that there was nothing they could propose me for breakfast. This is not cohesive with a hotel rated 4 stars, and was an overall reflection of the lack of service.

Review 21:The hotel is close to the city center.

Review 22:The total lack of cleaning products in the kitchen. All cutlery and crockery is supplied, but if you use and it want to wash up, you have to go and buy some soap! It would be good if they had small amounts of cleaning products in the apartment kitchen, just as they have bath/shower products in the bathroom.

Review 23:Nice, modern apartment. Good wifi. Close to town (under 10 minutes, walking). The service offered at the hotel by Richard Gay (ski rental and drop off/pick up to the ski lifts) was excellent and really made our stay easy! We highly recommend this service - much quicker and easier than trying to park at the lifts or taking the skibus.

Review 24:The swimming pool wasn't that warm, the cleaner only changed the bedsheets and the bathroom towels but never did the dishes (there was no dish soap for us to do it ourselves)

Review 25:The room, the comfort of the bed, the kitchenette and cooking supplies, the ski locker

Review 26:The rooms are very small for the price, the furniture in the rooms is very outdated. Our tiny kitchen was never cleaned by housekeeping during our stay. The front desk staff is ambivalent at best. Guests smoking in their rooms all day & night causing the dark hallways to be very stinky. Use the balcony people!!

Review 27:The pool - when it worked. The upstairs lounge when it was not filled with people & luggage. The bathrooms are updated & fresh.

Review 28:Modern design shower not very functional in our room. It overflows and the water spray is not in a rounded shape, making it hard to have a full body cover. Our room was a bit too small. more or less fine if not planning to use the kitchen facility, But if so difficult to leave the small dining table in the room, we had to put it on the balcony Breakfast service was understaffed. Out of our 3 breakfasts for one of them we had to wait a good 10 mn to get everything in order, cuttlery , cups, plates, replenishing of missing buffet item etc....

Review 29:Nice chalet style combining traditional features and modern elements Our room had a very large balcony/ terrace Good wifi connection

Review 30:Breakfast was expensive at 22euro per person, especially as the coffee machine wasnt working and the staff told us there was no alternative.

Review 31:friendly staff and a fantastic pool to relax in at the end of the day. easy walk into the town

Review 32:Reception tried to charge us for the room upon checkout when everything was prepaid

Review 33:location is really convenient to the slopes. rooms are very clean and modern. well equipped kitchen

Review 34:great stay all good thought that late check in and early check out was a down side as only staying two nights .would like to have spent alittle more time in location.

Review 35:great location near to town centre.good views .good room facilities friendly staff reception bar and maids.

Review 36:Parking to expensive...Breakfast to expensive for what you get.Staff in the breakfast area need training...

Review 37:Accommodation good.Bed comfortable.Interiors could be greatly improved, a little basic...with the furniture.A little warmth and comfortable lounge/bed to sit on.Coffee table, what is that!!! Room 13 A. Reception staff great.

Review 38:The kitchen isn't really that practical - way too small to be marketed as a useful kitchen/self catering. Didn't bother using it. The room was great quality however.

Review 39:Great quality room with easy access to the slopes - my daughter loved the heated pool

Review 40:our room was a classic suite for four but with 2 daughters of 12 and 23 it was on the small side. Bar not run very well.

Review 41:rooms were clean and the small kitchen area was great for breakfasts.

Review 42:The kitchenette in the room is meant for very tall people, if you are medium height 1.66m like me you cannot even look into the cupboards...

Review 43:Nice design, warm and helpful staff, excellent location for skiing, nice food and service at the restaurant, very cosy bar !

Review 44:The breakfast supposwd to get ready at 730 Howeever one morning even at 800 we cshould ask for fork plate croissant and so on ı believe that this is cauaed by the unexperiwnced man who is working at that day He doesnt know what to do Other days for breakfadt perfect Thıs shouldnt happen ın such a professiınal place

Review 45:Location stuff kindness Both in the reception and restaurant

Review 46:Bit of a faff getting between chalets using the underground car parks. For example our boot room was in another chalet, but at least you didn't have to walk there outside. Price of drinks in the bar (€14 a g&t). Price of breakfast (€22 pp) - we skipped and got something on the hills,.

Review 47:Superior double room was great for two people, plenty of room, modern, clean, nice big bath for after a days skiing. Bed very comfortable. Nice bar area. Relaxing outdoor heated pool. Close to the Jaillet lift (10 mins for two fit 40 year olds carrying skis) and close to town (again a 10 min easy walk). Good places to eat in Megeve (although ££££). Well equipped kitchen (although we didn't use). Would definitely stay here again.

Review 48:- have been visiting in winter, the pathways between shales were never cleaned, so it was a nightmare to walk around. Multiple number of times asked at the reception to clean the pathways so that one can walk without breaking a leg, and always received polite smile with no action taken. This has really ruined my vacation. The most basic thing was not done! - no staff to help you with the luggage (now add this to the pathways full of snow and ice that were never cleaned) - helpfulness of the staff is 50/50, depends with whom you are dealing. Some where really good in helping to book ski instructor for me, but next day the other shift was not capable to do so for my friends and ruined their experience

Review 49:- Cleanliness s of the room

Review 50:I tried to get information about extra bed in the room from housekeeping and also from reception 3 times in a day on the 26 th of january 2015 . I was informed that it was ready . But when I arrived the room at 21:30. I could not see the bed was opened and ı could not manage to open the bed.Firstly , I tried to call reception . There was no connection or any number to reach the reception. When ı had to go to the reception for help for opening the extra bed , ı tried to explain to the receptionist to solve my problem. He told me that he cannot help me. He was not responsible for this . Then I asked to him for finding for me a sheet , and a duvet and also duvetcover. He said that he is not capable for giving me for these because İt is not under his responsibility. So I got mad . I asked him that if there is duty manager or housekeeper or any manager . He said"no".Then ı asked him if he can call any manager to speak about solving my problem. He said he cannot. I got mad . We started to argue about this . İt took my half an hour. My daughter was alone waiting for me to prepare her to sleep .After all, one guy from the bar and a lady from the restaurant tried to help me . This lady got a sheet and duvet and also duvet cover .Then she came with me to do the bed . After all another lady arrived at the same time to show how to opened the extra bed .I want to ask you that ;1)how come a receptionist cannot sort it out a guest problem?2) why cannot he know this simple problem's solution?3) if he does not know answer of this question, why did not he call or get any information from the manager or housekeeper?4)finally, how come you make these kind of rude and impolite people work in this hotel? Especially in the reception?Hotel is 20 mins by walking to city center. It is a bit far.when ı make booking ı thought there was a spa in the hotel .But spa was in another hotel of the chain.I think they make a sale trink for selling the product.

Review 51:The beds were too hard in our opinion and the horrible did not work, which was a thing that We Would have appreciated to use. The apartment needed to have the walls painted - it needs to look better at a 4 Star place

Review 52:I liked the interior and the friendliness and service of the staff and the outdoor pool.

Review 53:The worst thing was the chickout, bucase it was antel10am,after12pm we have to pay 5€ each hour .also the manger was not flexible with us and asked us to change the flat, because of our number, which was more than the required number.

Review 54:Only problem with wifi is that u have to login everytime u want to get online The other downside is the absence of a restaurant in the summer season.

Review 55:The location is good bc it's in a calm area where there's a lot of sun exposure and at the same time it's near the jaillet station and the sports complex and not far from the Center around 8-10 mins walk. They have car parking as well as a kitchenette, a nice balcony and swimming pool. Wifi is for free as well

Review 56:Excellent value deal for one night in setting which is clearly foreseen for a longer stay. Clean, comfortable room with kitchenette facility. Convenient location and underground parking.

Review 57:Too small for 4 people... Ridiculously large coffee table that had to be stored under dining table to pull bed out in lounge.

Review 58:Beautiful appartment quality despite small size. Great design. Gorgeous chalet lodge style

Review 59:I liked the look of the apartments and at christmas time they were decorated beautifully with christmas music being transmitted outside at all times.

Review 60:Food!

Review 61:Very friendly staff. Facility is excellent. The ski shop in the hotel is a plus. Overall we enjoyed staying there for the Xmas.

Review 62:The pool was amazing and the area is magnificent

Review 63:Receiving the apartment at 16h, for a short stay.

Review 64:The swimming pool. Beautifully decorated. The parking. Location, very convenient. Well equipped.

Review 66:Very charming place comfortable and cosy typical mountains small chalet. Good price

Review 67:they start to charge for the parking starting this year

Review 68:Location, the view and moreover the staff

Review 69:Long delay in accessing our room and difficult to find Les Loges.

Review 70:Beautiful town and scenery.

Review 71:The location quite far from other interesting places, not easy to access

Review 72:Rooms are good, staff is good

Review 73:very kind and helpful staff at reception, friendly staff at breakfast

Review 74:The description was of a suite capable of housing 6 people, but this would be very difficult.

Review 75:Stunning views, beautifully kept chalet

Review 76:everything from location to comfort to luxury

Review 77:The sofa beds were rather uncomfortable

Review 78:Very helpful staff. Underground parking

Review 79:very close to ski slopes. well equipped kitchen. large heated outdoor pool

Review 81:the staff were lovely, the view was picturesque.

Review 82:Mislead of room description

Review 83:Good location - Clean Polite stuff

Review 84:The people I travelled with(my 10 year old)

Review 85:Bar area and food

Review 86:Cannot complain, maybe the mirror in the wc.

Review 87:The staff were amazing!!! The restaurant, bar and reception - top of the best! Fantastic breakfast!

Review 88:The location, the swimming pool, the view from the room

Review 89:Clean, beautifull, nice pool.

Review 90:The receptionist, I think her name was Clair, was very, very helpful in fixing the schedule for the next day and undertook considerable efforts

Review 91:Douches italiennes inondent un peu la salle de bain

Review 92:Cadre Situation Service Parking Suites chaleureuses

Review 93:Wi-fi too weak and impossible to use, need to log in with i-pad every stand-by; Check-in too late and check-out time too early even if we succeded in asking for some extra hours; In genereal we expected much more quality from 4 stars location and for the price we paid.

Review 94:Location, close to the centre and to jaillet.

Review 95:2nd bedroom mattress wasn't very good. Toilet area, barely could fit into. French hotels have something against 2 toilets and always seperate the toilet room. Not a bad thing, just not what Americans are accustomed to.

Review 96:Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Review 97:We liked the working staff for being pleasant and cooperative, especially Carine with her exceptional passion for her job and for her great sense of hospitality!

Review 98:the reception has blocked some amount from my credit card, which I haven't seen before in any hotels of the world. what is worse, they haven't unblocked the amount yet. there is no mini bar. after 9 o'clock all the bar was closed. you can't eat or drink anything inside the hotel.

Review 99:The swimming pool was very nice after all day skiing. Breakfast was excellent and restaurant too. Than you very much for the staff, you were very polite and helpfull!

Review 100:Kitchenette was too small to cook, especially for 6 of us and the room was a bit cramped.

Review 101:Overall a really really great stay and we're going back. Staff were very friendly and helpful, underground parking and ski / boot storage was good, ski rental made very easy, pool a real plus for kids. Breakfast was excellent but quite expensive.

Review 102:It is far from lift and small room. And for this location and quality of room is too expensive

Review 103:Apartment has everything that you need ( small kitchen, table for dinning)

Review 104:Apartments on the small side. Limited choice of breakfast with variable service. French staff didn't seem to understand my broken language : Cafe au lait tres chaude. It still arrived barely warm !

Review 105:Very comfortable double bed. Peaceful location near to ski bus stop and Jaillet ski lift. Pleasant walk into village,

Review 106:- minor point, the wifi is a bit useless but i'm sure this could be fixed quite easily and it didnt exactly bother us (might be annoying if you need to do some work whilst on holiday)

Review 107:- nice and modern accommodation with a high quality feel - very friendly, professional and helpful reception staff - 2 min walk from slopes! and 5 min from the town.

Review 108:No bathtub, even though it's shown in the pictures. The temperature of the pool was too low. Room was smaller than expected. Wi-Fi didn't always work and required a lengthy sign up process every 24 hours. There was a lot of noise from the front door during the night.

Review 109:Nice service from staff, especially in the restaurant. Room was clean and warm

Review 110:Location is not central Apartment is very very small No chance to fit 6 people as advertised. No space to keep luggage. Luggage is kept in the walkways and there is no room to walk at all.

Review 111:Staff were nice

Review 112:Wifi wasnt very strong

Review 113:Good size well-equipped room ( and full size bath - unusual for France!). Great outdoor pool and fab cosy bar with very knowledgeable bar manager 10 mins walk to centre of town... Nice to have the quiet!

Review 114:Hot water is not enough for two people to shower at same time, it is very frustrating. Their internet wifi is not working at all on my iPhone 5.

Review 115:Not too far from the lift,

Review 116:The check in time and check out time is not good. Check in is too late and check out is too early, plus, no flexibility at all. Not admisible in a 4 star hotel.

Review 117:People at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

Review 118:It is hard to believe , but nothing There are nothings that I did not like in this hotel

Review 119:The views and the tranquility of the surroundings Proximity to almost every things : 1- Waking distant to the big slide and teleferic 2- Waking distant to the center 3- Waking distant to the supermarket 4- Waking distant to restaurants I also like the reception staff and their help in every thing matter to me or my family I also like the house keeping staff and their manager , she is a wonderful lady.

Review 120:The pool was not working for the whole time we stayed which was verydisappointing as this was the main reason for booking this hotel.

Review 121:The size of rooms and nice bathroom (big bath and good shower)

Review 122:Location. Too far from town centre, and public transport insufficient. Taxi service and Caleche service in town was hopeles and unavailable when needed. Only solution would be for hotel to have it's own free shuttle for guests.

Review 123:Staff, interior, space

Review 124:We were 5 people and it was a bit tight, 3 adults and 2 children. One child had to sleep in the lounge therefore nowhere to stay. The rooms are very small that you can hardly move. There was only one toilet which is not convenient when you are 5.

Review 125:It was a hotel appt with service which was great. The location was good as there was a nearby bus to take you to the ski lifts.

Review 126:The second bed in the 'suite mansardee' is not necessarily verycomfortable.

Review 127:Nice chalet, nice outdoor pool, large underground parking good list ofcognacs in the restaurant

Review 128:1.Too expensive 2. Uncomfortable sofa-bed 3. Sharp corner on night stand 4. Too expensive

Review 129:1. Under ground Parking garage 2. Cozy place 3. Location

Review 130:Just to write something: paper napkinds should be turned into real fabric napkinds for dinner!

Review 131:Excellent service, highly qualified staff, good materials used, wonderful bar and delicious cuisine!
