Review 1：The decor was tatty, the room was grimy and was well due for redecorating.I peeped under the duvet cover and was shocked at how old and dirty the duvet was

Review 2：Size of room, the TV and the bed was comfortable. The en suite was ok.

Review 3：Carpet in the room could have done with cleaning/replacing, the en suite toilet had a poor flush and the flat screen TV didn't work - we ended up with an old small screen model. The whole place needs an update.

Review 5：Receptionist against the rules of booking.com accessed my Visa card to pay for my bills as against cash that I wanted to pay with. The heater in my room refused to work despite my complaint.

Review 6：Dowdy old décor and worn out appliances, missing sink plug, dirty pillows (but bedding clean), tv reception poor etc. etc. Overall a bit depressing, would not stay again.

Review 8：Bathroom was in need of renovating. There was mould around the shower. The shower tray leaked, so floor became very wet. There was no plug in the sink.

Review 10：On arrival we were told that there would be no breakfast as the cook was sick! They could not provide a key to lock our room. The room was far from clean. The shower room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and the shower cubicle had come apart from the shower tray on one side. On arrival we were taken a short cut to our attic room up a stair with no light. The lad on reception used his mobile phone to light up the way.

Review 11：Nothing it was the worst place we have ever stayed.

Review 12：No plug in bath or sink, two TVs neither of which worked, not even a glass for a drink of water, never mind nothing to make coffee or tea, no table settings for breakfast, main doors locked with no key to get in. Need I go on?

Review 13：The property is run down but my room was very clean . No tea making facilities. Absolutely no hooks anywhere for hanging clothes. No chair in the room.

Review 14：Friendly, helpful staff. The chef ironed my suit when i found all the dry cleaners too busy! Cosy atmosphere, easy parking, and low room rates all very welcome for a short stay. Extremely quiet room: so much so i thought i was the only guest but the hotel was full!

Review 37：I did not like the fact all the walls were stained, all the ceiling blocks were broken. I also did not like that I was refused a refund and had NO key to lock my room door. I will never be attending here again.

Cheap but also unnecessarily faded; paint splashes everywhere, blind pulls broken, furniture rickety and not put together properly. It's not just money - a lot of hard work required,

Review 40：There were no towels in the bathroom. The wardrobe door couldn't be opened fully due to a drawer immediately beneath the drawer not fitting properly & thus preventing the door opening. There were no coat hangers in the wardrobe. There were two men, possibly late teens or early twenties best described as " loitering" in the entrance to the hotel. One was hooded & turned away as I entered the building as if he didn't wish to be seen. There was a strong smell of Cannabis. Putting all of this together & being concerned for the safety of my car I left the hotel, thus losing the £31 & went to stay in a Premier Inn.

Review 41：Bathroom furniture was pretty old and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was ok but nothing to shout about and consisted of just a main course - no cerals or fruit or toast.

Review 49：The Manager Alan met us at reception, made us very welcome, took our luggage up for us and was there serving breakfast for us in the morning. An amazing breakfast too, set us up for the day. Room was very large and warm and comfortable. Will definately use again. fantastic value.
