Review 1：Car park a bit on the tight side don't know what you would do if more than 15 guest had cars

Review 3：We spent a week at Hotel Santa Maria. Our room was on the third floor with a large balcony which was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening sunshine. The room was large, the bed was super king size and very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. Breakfast was continental and typically French with ample food available. The waitress at breakfast was charming and very helpful.

Review 4：The payment by card didn't work at the check out time and the only way for payments was cash. Small parking, not for all the guests. Small room.

Review 12：The air conditioning units were very old, loud and couldn't be used if you wanted a conversation or a sleep. The rooms were not very sound proof!

Review 14：It was small, and generally in a superior room there's extra space which is what's expected. Suspect we got a standard room, as photos show larger room. Air-conf fan far too noisy - it really laboured. had to use it as noise from street intruded if windows opened.

Review 15：Gentleman at reception on arrival was really lovely, as was night-duty gentleman (we had trouble getting our door open - just needed an extra push). Pleasant, easy walk to main centre, and a "laverie-automatic" on the way, so very convenient.

Review 16：Lighting arrangement in corridors and stairwell could be better - when they go out it's pitch black and the location of the switches isn't highlighted so some fumbling around required! Easy to flood the bathroom with the shower/screen arrangement.

Review 17：The hotel was a good price already but on arrival we were very pleased to find that our rooms had also been upgraded at no charge. Secure parking for motorcycles (free of charge). Clean and spacious rooms, easy walk into town.

Review 18：Our ground floor room was well presented but pretty small, and the view was terrible. Somehow (tricky for Corsica) we had a view of neither the mountains nor the sea, but instead the car park and a pile of has cylinders.

Review 22：No way to make a cup of tea or coffee. Some road noise in the mornings and the A/C whilst it worked well was a bit noisy I ended up using my plane earplugs to sleep. But I am one of the lightest sleepers you will ever meet.

Review 41：No room safe, no usable public spaces apart from a small sofa arrangement in front of the reception desk. Not sure why it was a three star when some two stars we stayed in had more facilities like a pool, terrace, fridge in the room. We did have a small balcony with a sea view, but there were only a couple of stools to sit on. If they had put more comfortable chairs and a small table it would have been a more suitable place to spend time. The shower screen leaked as well and totally soaked the floor, and the loo roll holder was broken. Overall although the room was lovely - nicely decorated, very modern and stylish - we were disappointed with the overall experience of the Santa Maria which we think could have been enhanced with a few small adjustments.

Review 50：The room was nice and clean with a modern design. Even though we didn'tbook a room with balcony and sea view we got a room with both (maybebecause of low season).

Review 51：Dowdy room finishes (raw plywood closet "shelf" inserts, metal closet doors, old bathroom fixtures, oddly placed hand shower in tub with half-closing tub surround that guaranteed water on bathroom floor. No safe in room.) On noisy road so can't open door to balcony (but in fairness, the insulated glass is great so you don't really hear road with the door closed). Small parking lot (can only accommodate about 7 cars). Breakfast is served so you can't just take an extra croissant for the road... but certainly adequate (jambon/fromage/jam/croissant/coffee/juice).

Review 52：Convenient for St. Florent village - 10 minutes easy stroll to restaurants, shops, marina. In fact being located just a bit outside the main village is good so easier to get in and out. Associated with nice restaurant right on the water (La Marinuccia, expensive but good, 10 minutes walk away from hotel). Very good base for Patrimonio wine region, Cap Corse excursions. Decent hotel and we booked a good rate, but not my highest recommendation - more like a 2.5 star than a 3 star.
