Reviews for Le Pavillon Villemaurine
Review 1:What's not to like?
Review 2:An outstanding venue, perfectly located to walk into St Emilion, stunning building and a proprietor who genuinely understands the value of customer service. A fantastic stay that I would recommend without reservation. To the extent that I will seriously consider booking the entire place and take some friends next time.
Review 3:There is nothing, the owners will go out of their way to make to your stay memorable.
Review 4:Warm welcome from Nikki and Julian. Unbelievable location and value for money. Attention to detail, eg complimentary wine and drinks. Stunning terrace and lounge. Excellent wifi and air conditioning.
Review 5:From the moment we arrived and the welcome we received, we knew our stay would be amazing!! Adding to our excellent experience at Le Pavillon Villemaurine and with high quality and attention to detail our stay was exceptional. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and gracious. Julian showed us a brilliant day of Vineyards and wine tasting with his knowledgeable and informative background in wine. And not to forget, the fabulous Debbie, their assistant, who greeted us with a smile every morning along with a delightful breakfast .Our room, was huge, clean comfortable and fresh. The nice little extra touches to make it even more enjoyable- helping yourselves to some fruit or wine in the afternoons. The house is right next to the town, with a two minute walk away; you do not need a car. We will definitely be going back; in fact we are already planning a return visit with friends. It has our full recommendation.
Review 6:Though the place itself is lovely and a wonderful location, the hosts are the best part. Nikki took great care of us, arranging cars and tours, and her husband Julian showed us a brilliant day of wine tasting. Very knowledgeable and entertaining!
Review 7:I loved every minute of my stay.
Review 8:The room was lovely and opened to all the surrounding vineyards. It was very clean, comfortable, and particularly Nikki who was so lovely helping us with travel to and from the airport in Bordeaux. What a wonderful experience!
Review 9:Nothing
Review 10:Our stay was fabulous! This is the best place we have stayed in our travels to Europe. From the moment we were greeted by Julian until the moment we hugged Nikki goodbye we felt extremely welcome and very comfortable. The accommodations are brilliantly appointed and not a thing has been overlooked. Great location and wonderful people. Julian provided us with a great and informative wine tour of the area and two private tastings at wonderful Chateaus. Nikki booked our reservations for exquisite lunches and dinners. Le Pavillon Villemaurine truly rates all the great things people are writing about it.
Review 11:Clean, comfortable, close to city center, very outstanding breakfast...most important however was the helpful friendliness of the owners Nikki & Julian. Our wine tour with Julian was a "wow" & his knowledge & passion about wines amazing....
Review 12:Nothing.
Review 13:Had medical emergency. Took me to hospital in another town. Stsyed with us for 4 hrs to help us through the language problem. I will never forget Julian's and Nikk'is kindness. Don't even think twice. Stay hear. You will be happy you did.
Review 14:The rooms were beautifully appointed. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Very peaceful. Excellent views over a vineyard. Easy parking. Offered wine tours to exclusive Chateaux.
Review 15:From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the high standards at Le Pavillion Villemaurine. The couple who own and run this wonderful place are so welcoming and generous. The decor is tasteful and beds, unlike most French accommodation, are huge and so comfortable. The bed linen, towels and fabulous toiletries are all of the best quality. The breakfast was sumptuous. This may all sound to good to be true but it really is a fabulous place, much better than some of the five star hotels I have stayed in over the years. Also ignore any websites that say it is out of town, it is not. The house is right next to the town, a two minute walk away, you do not need a car. We will definitely go back, infact we are already planning a return visit.
