Reviews for Le Petit Manoir Logis

Review 1:Fire Alarm went off at 11ish twice. Everyone evacuated. No one came to tell us it was ok to go back in or give any apology or explanation. GPS co ordinates on Booking.com confirmation were wrong which made it very difficult to find the hotel. The restaurant joined to the hotel was not good.

Review 2:Excellent Breakfast included in the price. Very good rooms with character Swimming Pool was superb

Review 3:Nothing in particular, just the wifi wasn't working, which is not an issue on holidays, except I had to book urgently a flight

Review 4:very quiet, clean, friendly stuff, as the weather was very warm, we appreciated the portable AC and ventilator. nice swimming pool

Review 5:All good!

Review 6:Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close to town, but in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was very good with fresh 'squeeze your own' orange juice. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant in an intimate outdoor setting on the terrace. Food and service was excellent.

Review 7:Sad that swimming pool not available for use. Road works on Jules Ferry a bit of an issue.

Review 8:Restaurant was a delight - unexpected bonus Pleasant gardens on edge of Avignon suburb.

Review 9:The fact that they have good dine in facility and a swimming pool with a nice garden. The shower works very well too. The staff was very friendly at the hotel and the restaurant. Excellent for a 3* hotel.

Review 10:Breakfast tables were laid out beneath out room and we had some loud German guests talking beneath our our balcony at 7am in the morning. The hotel was quite dated and Les Angles was really disappointing. If we returned to Avignon we would stay more centrally.

Review 11:Nice breakfast and lovely pool.

Review 12:Wifi no good in bedroom

Review 13:Friendly staff, restaurant on-site, comfortable room, lovely building, location fine with the GPS

Review 14:Nothing.

Review 15:Quiet location with good public transport links. Excellent on site restaurant, multi lingual staff. Very welcoming.

Review 16:Fire alarm in middle of the night. Room too hot to sleep

Review 17:Great pool

Review 18:Quiet hotel. Very close to Avignon and Pont-du-Gard.

Review 19:simpatic staff, clean, nice, ideal for travelers in Provance

Review 20:Room was very hot

Review 21:The pool breakfast and diner the old village nearby

Review 22:Rooms a bit basic

Review 23:Fabulous restaurant was a real surprise and a treat. The swimming pool was very nice too!

Review 24:Wonderfull location for festival's goers, charming room, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Review 25:Bedding can be improved.

Review 26:Very good breakfast.

Review 27:no air con...issue on hot days

Review 28:great atmosphere, clean, kind staff

Review 29:The wifi is very poor, never got connected.

Review 30:The food and environment are pretty good.

Review 31:Location.

Review 32:The staff were lovely and the premises were clean and accommodated us well.

Review 33:The wifi was very poor which was frustrating. There was nothing in the room to make it easier to live for a couple of days- no glasses for a wine or spoon for coffee or mini fridge, small inconvenience in grand scheme of things.

Review 34:The room was lovely and cosy with four comfy beds. The terrace just outside our room was a lovely spot to sit with a croissant and coffee in the morning. The shower was good and it was nice to have a bath. It was within easy access to the town of Avignon and the parking was good. We really felt we had arrived in Provence!

Review 35:We requested 2 rooms and we would have loved to have the rooms of the kids communicating with ours, but it was not possible...and the worse part of it was that it was quiet impossible to close or open the door of the second room (the room given to the kids!!!) ...Please ask them to change the locks of their doors!!!!!!

Review 36:The area, the environment, the structure of the hotel is good...

Review 37:Pool area was not tended to anymore and green with algae, although the temperature was still in the mid twenties

Review 38:Quiet location close to the attractions of Avignon

Review 39:The hotel managed to lose our amended booking (despite having provided email confirmation) and thus we were informed that there was no room available for us for our first night. However, they did organise a night's stay in a neighbouring hotel which was beautiful and they met the extra costs incurred.

Review 40:Handy location for exploring Avignon and the room was spacious and well placed for access to the pool.

Review 41:The restaurant only had French menus which made it difficult to order food. Also they didn't sell beer only wine. The rooms didn't have air conditioning and one night was extremely hot that even the children couldn't sleep.

Review 42:The rooms were clean and very standard but welcoming after a very long drive.

Review 43:Rude lazy waitress in restaurant. Ignored us and the only 2 other tables waiting and trying to get her atrention. When she did come by she was very abrupt and condescending. Wifi didn't work in room even though we were told it would, it only works in common room. Room smelly, musty, old, damp and outdated. Heard mouse in the ceiling in the middle of the night. No possibilty to open a window, so very stuffy. Metal strip on floor between bathroom and room had come loose- sharp and dangerous. Pool dirty. Bus needed to get to town ran very infrequently. Bushes next to terrace so overgrown we couldn't sit there comfortably. Don't stay here.

Review 44:Friendly room cleaner

Review 45:Although the hotel was clean, it requires some TLC. Room 47 has a very tired bathroom. Once had a hook for the shower head, it clearly fell out at some stage, the hole had been filled in and never replaced! We were never told the breakfasts were free until we were checking out!

Review 46:We booked this hotel for our first few nights to visit Avignon. A nice walk to the city which takes around 25minutes, but use the very good bus service to get back as its all up hill. The restaurant has a limited menu. Main courses very good & sweets excellent. Good value if you want a cheap basic hotel

Review 47:We got a room with no ventilation. There was only one window, big as a door and so low that anyone from the parking lot could just step in. Hence one must close it when going to sleep. There was no air condition to ease the situation. Also the room had only one electricity outlet so if you want to leave a small light you can not also leave a fan. And one last thing- when we came to the hotel back late at night there was no parking place.

Review 48:the lady in the reception was very nice but there was no one there at night when we had the parking problems and when we understood we could not sleep without air in the room. The distance to Avignon with a car is very short.

Review 49:The hotel is very dated and has not been updated in 20+ years. The carpets in the hallways and guest rooms are very old and dirty. The beds and bedding are very old and warn. There is no real air conditioning - just a fan that is on a 2 hour timer, so you have to wake up several times per night to turn it back on.

Review 50:The staff was very nice and welcoming.

Review 51:not recommend for no car. reception will close after ten, and you need to take the key your self.wifi only in common area

Review 52:free car park.nice breakfast. room are comfortable. have your own area outside your window(there are two chair and one table ) you can smoking there or watch the sky just outside the room.

Review 53:A strong smell inside of the room, probably due to the old age of the house. Hot water is not available, which is not convenient for Chinese tourist.

Review 54:I was satisfied with the interior decoration, the swimming pool and the backyard.

Review 55:The garage of the hotel could be better organised. It was difficult to get in and out of it.

Review 56:I liked the friendly atmosphere of the hotel. It was peaceful and like living at home.

Review 57:The easy option to eat next door is an easy trap to fall into! Better options within 5 minute walk.

Review 58:Nice easy to find hotel. Close to several restaurants some of which offer better value than the one attached to the hotel.

Review 59:Nice pool area. Free parking

Review 60:Unfortunatly swim pool not open

Review 61:Warm friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent food.

Review 62:Leaving after only one night !

Review 63:Fantastic typical old French building. Really good food/wine/hospitality.

Review 64:wifi is very weak and doesn't reach the top floors

Review 65:swimming pool breakfast

Review 66:It's a bit out if town, fine if your driving, not so good if your taxi-ing it.

Review 67:The restaurant was great, food was beautiful. Pool was nice too.

Review 68:Meat at breakfast was hanging about unfridgerated. Angles itself is dirty, noisy and grotty

Review 69:The hotel was excellent and the staff very friendly

Review 70:Old -run down

Review 71:Walking out

Review 72:Very clean and staff were very friendly, our first time, and we would return again. meal was excellent and staff were very attentive.
