Reviews for Citotel Les Prés du Rosay
Review 1:The bar was unatended and we had to find staff each time we wanted a drink.
Review 2:Close to the slopes, good place to stop over before heading up the mountains. Great location with some great bars and restaurants.
Review 3:This place is great if you speak French. Receptionist has zero languageskills but why would anybody want to speak English in that profession?
Review 4:Location and the spa
Review 5:Bar closed they were using it to promote ski-ing equipment. Food good but poor choice. Service in restaurant a little poor.
Review 6:Nice receptionist very helpful. Good view of Mont Blanc from balcony. Ample parking.
Review 7:the bed in our room was absolutely appalling & probably should have been replaced years ago. Several days on we still have badly aching backs from just one very bad nights sleep on that bed. The restaurant meals are overpriced & of average quality
Review 8:free parking
Review 9:Although the breakfast was excellent it was too expensive (10€ per person). Also two of the four beds in the quadruple room had a very low ceiling which is OK for two small children but not for two adults.
Review 10:The hotel is very nice and the staff is friendly, polite, helping and professional. The quality of breakfast was excellent with several home made products. The room was clean and quite.
Review 11:Cannot see mountains from the window but it was not really a big problem...
Review 12:Very polite and pleasing personnel Clean rooms with big bedding Hotel looks cozy and accommodating Definitely worth its money Good place to rest after long day Quite and a little away from the road
Review 13:I chose this hotel because it was discounted. When we arrived I discovered it was not discounted at all. In fact the rate was higher than their normal rate for this time of year. That is dishonest and fraud. I booked late to secure a good price. I will not deal with your company again.
Review 14:The restaurant staff wasn't that friendly. The service was extremely long. The food just ok.
Review 15:VERY nice welcome at the reception desk. Friendly and helpful.
Review 16:A nice place, slightly out of the town centre. The rooms are basic but functional. Friendly helpful staff. Within walking distance of restaurants and carrefour.
Review 17:We didn't realise that the restaurant was closed on Saturday evening.Very unusual. Also the rooms were hot and it was difficult to work outhow to reduce the heating.
Review 18:It's location is good for access to different places in the ChamonixValley. It's close to Megeve, where we were skiing and good access thePrincess Lift
Review 19:It's not a very luxurious set up. Our toilet and bathroom were in different rooms, the sinkboard was unfinished wood, as was the base for the bathtub, the pillows were like someone put a pillowcase around a stack of notebooks, the rooms were rather small. There is no view of Mont Blanc whatsoever – we could see a back garden with some garden furniture and an old hose. The décor is rather depressing.
Review 20:Good coffee
Review 21:The four-person room was a bit small and the location is somewhat in the middle of nowhere.
Review 22:The spa was nice and the stay was fairly inexpensive.
Review 23:Hotel a bit dated
Review 24:Restaurant good
Review 25:easy to reach, excerllent food including breakfast; Very calm at night
Review 26:Need a car
Review 27:closest nice affordable nice hotel to Chamonix
Review 28:A nice place to break up a trip, especially since chamonix was booked out.
Review 29:at least one or two German TV channels would be helpful
Review 30:very friendly and supportive staff, very good restaurant
Review 31:but smelt heavily of nicotene (masked by perfumes)
Review 32:well located, decent sized room (214)
Review 33:A phenomenal value - the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly andhelpful and the restaurant was superb!
