This small B&B is situated in Cabannes, just 2,650 feet from Cordes-sur-Ciel. The B&B dates from the 18th-century and offers free Wi-Fi in each room and a terrace to enjoy a continental breakfast.

Review 1：Great spot, at the foot of the hill leading to Cordes. Nice walks -- up to Cordes and on the roads around. Fantastic food. Very pleasant and thoughtful hosts.

Review 3：Great wee spot in tiny village. Only very short stay as arrived late and left early. Very hospitable hosts. Very good breakfast and coffee. Hosts had offered to cook but missed email... luckily an option nearby restaurant open (most closed in December).
Review 4：Lovely, well appointed with comfortable beds, pillows and extra duvets + nice modern bathrooms. Nico hosted us with gusto and provided wonderful breakfasts and an impressive dinner complete with excellent wine pairing.

Review 10：Monsieur was a wonderful host and cooked the best meal I've had in France. The ambiance in the stonewalled dining room with a well connecting to the living room was true quality of life.

Review 12：We travelled for six weeks and this was one of the most special experiences. We had a little trouble finding La Maison au Puits from a couple of streets away and were escorted there by a friendly local from whom we asked directions. We were greeted by Nico and Christianne and their six guests who were having a pre dinner drink outside the beautiful front door. We felt very welcome and joined in immediately! The dining table looked amazing and the dinner was superb.

Review 15：The beauty of maison, the home-like ambience, the superb quality of the dinner and the hospitality of the keepers of the maison add wonderful colors to our trip in France! It is indeed a highlight of our trip and we shall remember the place for the many years ahead. The maison is real close to Cordes and this is a convenient starting place for excursion to Albi and Gaillac. Highly recommend it to anyone who plans to visit the Aveyron region. Don't miss the dinner which is really fabulous.

Review 17：Cristianne and Nico are wonderful hosts and their home has been delightfully restored without losing any of its old world charm. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The evening meal with other guests was really delicious with Crepe Suzettes cooked at the table by Nico as the grande finale! Highly recommended.

The decor, cleanliness and well inside the house alone makes it worth a visit. Definately recommend this one!

Review 31：Arrived to a warm welcome from Christianne and Nico. The house has been beautifully refurbished, without the loss of its charm. Our room was comfortable, with a small shower room. We didn't eat in (though it smelt delicious and we will rerun to eat) but got some great suggestions as to where to go. Fantastic breakfast set us up well for the day. Would recommend it to friends and family and would return.

Review 34：Lack of towel rails in the lovely shower room, and somewhere to put your clothes. The metal wardrobe which made clanging noises when hanging up clothes in spite of our best efforts.

Review 38：Our host, Nico, was very welcoming and saw to our every need. The two of us stayed in room one, which could sleep more people. Our bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom appliances were modern. A great location.
Review 39：the way the Host (husband) handled the check-out. I didn't realize that my credit card had not been charged at time of booking so we checked out the host was mean and upset and trying to give me lecture on how things work! Like he thought I was gonna leave without paying!

Review 48：The hotel is not in Cordes sur Ciel but on the very edge of the boundarywith Les Cabannes and very difficult to find as the Satnav has not yetpicked up the fact that Rue Gargarides is one way in the oppositedirection. However excellent, the charge of 26 Euros for dinner isexpensive for a table d'hotes.
