Review 1：The restaurant staff were very off-hand and even rude. To balance this the food was generally good value and well cooked. Breakfast was VERY expensive.

Review 2：The village location was great and the Spa facilities were very welcome at the end of a long drive to the hotel. The hotel could do with a little upgrading as it appeared a bit "tired" but maybe this is a part of its charm.

Review 3：Breakfast was very expensive so we didn't have it in the hotel. The town of Gerardmer seems to be closed in June. The bed was a bit too hard for our preference.

Review 4：We enjoyed dinner in the Coq a l'Ane restaurant. The town is well placed for exploring the Vosges area.

Review 5：I had a fourth floor room 446. It was like an oven. No air con. Went back to room at 11pm. Because the hotel is very close to town centre the noise from people outside was terrible, had to have all windows open because it was so hot.

Review 10：The staff were kind, helpful,professional and spoke good english. I would without a doubt revisit every time we were in the area. It is a most delightful hotel. Importantly,it is clear the owners make a positive and active input.Once air conditioning is installed in the bedrooms then the is no better hotel in France

Review 13：We booked at the last minute while following the Tour and were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Great central location in the town with a safe parking area to the rear. It's not the most modern hotel but it clearly doesn't aim to be. It's a place of traditional charm and has real character. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally friendly as were the two owners who took the time to speak with us despite the additional workload of hosting a couple of the TdF teams. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Review 19：The hotel is very old and nothing like 4 stars. The baby bed they gave us was at least 10 years old! The toilet in the room is awfully tiny! When you book a room with the village view that means that you'll have the view of the road ( with lots of cars and pollution) and parking. Last but not least, the swimming pool and area at this hotel corresponds to a 2 stars hotel! Honestly, it was horrible! Everything was so dirty, and old, and used! The product they use for the pool water stinks like hell! The sauna is tiny, and there is no hamam bath. And to get a towel for the pool you need to give a 15 euro (cash only) deposit, if not, then stay without the towel! So, the conclusion I can draw, we would never recommend this expensive hotel to anyone.
