Reviews for Hôtel Triton

Review 1:Staff spoke limited English but not an issue with simple things like checking in/out. Folding door to the bathroom not the best idea if you want privacy from the bedroom.

Review 2:Had a balcony room to the front so had the sound of waves all day, which is nice. Pleasant view across the bay to the fort/castle which is where the main car park is located and is very reasonably priced. The one near the hotel is short stay. Only stopped one night so didn't use any of the hotel facilitates.

Review 3:We loved the location especially when we discovered it was in the middle of Rennie Mackintosh's trail of three painting "spots". It was not far from the centre with good access to restaurants, cafes, shops and the all important views. Parking is difficult but were pointed the way to a free dirt car park up a "storm drain" within 500 meters.

Review 4:We contacted them 3 times before arrival to say we would be arrivingafter 7.00pm when reception closes. They never acknowledged any of ouremails and when we arrived there was no one there and no room details orkey left for us. We had to ask at the neighbouring restaurant who phonedthe manager on our behalf.

Review 5:Perfect location right on the beach, room and facilities were ideal fora 2 star hotel

Review 6:Parking was difficult, but we knew that it would be. The very thin curtains over the window meant that the bright orange street light shone on to the bed all night.

Review 7:In a marvellous position, with lovely views.

Review 8:During our weeks stay in August, we observed people every day waiting for many hours to park in town, there is more parking on the outskirts of this town but its 15 mins to walk back into town down a steep hill.

Review 9:Great for the beach, the view from our balconied room overlooking the beach, the sea and view of the castle. Easy flat walk into town.

Review 10:glorious views from the terrace plus a breeze. Necessary air con in bedroom as temperature outside was in the high 30o - 39o one night.Central position, easy of access on foot, beach virtually across the road. Enjoyed my stay of 5 nights.

Review 11:Shower in first room we had had a very poor flow. Shower in 2nd room we had was okay but barely any room in bathroom to move.

Review 12:Good wifi access, daily cleaning and location.

Review 13:Not the hotel's fault, but the only room available was a double so had to share a bed with my daughter.

Review 14:Great location. Fairly basic but perfectly adequate. Helpful and friendly staff.

Review 15:Rooms little small but functional. No lift for carrying heavier bags but stairs not too steep.

Review 16:Views from room excellent. Helpful staff. Bathroom very functional and quality. Bed very comfortable. Airconditioning worked well being a hot time of year.Overall very enjoyable experience and would definitely return. Thank you!

Review 17:... Touché

Review 18:Top notch really. All you need for a nice weekend with your partner. A stroll into the old part of town grab a bite, look at the army cadet lads run about. Back to Triton looking at the view. Great breakfast too. Saves a lot of faff. Bingo

Review 19:Horrible parking experience which was not particularly the hotel's fault as the area is extremely popular.

Review 20:The location. The view from our room was spectacular.

Review 21:Room much too small, no shower head fixing, no shower curtain, no parking - had to wait a while in the nearby beach-side car park until a space came available.

Review 22:Fantastic location. Our meal in the attached restaurant (not owned by hotel) was one of the best we had. Lots to see and do in Collioure.

Review 23:The manager was rude & offensive, although I tried to converse in French, he refused to communicate at all. He never even acknowledged us. The only time he spoke to me was to berate me for leaving a sandy footprint in the foyer! The girl who worked there seemed to do everything & she at least tried to communicate. The bathroom was tiny, but we could live with that.

Review 24:Right on the beach, convenient to everything

Review 25:The hotel could do with a bit of TLC - and a little bit of thought regarding how the room was laid out - we could not open our window fully because of a fixed ledge (which was the only thing to use as a dressing table) however it could be moved slightly into the room so that this was not a problem.

Review 26:The location was superb and we would return for this reason. The staff were reasonably pleasant, but a little indifferent - some customer service training would help. On the whole the hotel is nearly there, but not quite, however the location makes up for any shortfalls elsewhere.

Review 27:Rudimentary miniature bathroom and shower with no way to hang the shower head up. Could have been cleaner. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful but the "boss" was not. Unbelievably narrow stairwell and hallways made carrying up the suitcases hard.

Review 28:Location, breakfast was okay, free parking (although three blocks away in a dirt field), view from our window looked out over the water

Review 29:We got good value for money at Hotel Triton. The hotel was kept very clean and staff were friendly. The accommodation is basic and entirely serviceable. Great place to stay if you don't want to splash too much cash!

Review 30:Parking was very difficult and only informed about free parking on moving out. Room not located in main hotel so no wifi. The room appeared to be clean but sofa and duvet felt sticky

Review 31:The village is worth a visit

Review 32:Can be a bit noisy from street and restaurant below, small rooms without tea/coffee making facility. Breakfast not worth the extra 9 EUR.

Review 33:Safe swimming beach at the door step, beautiful view, set apart a bit from busy town centre. Free and fast WiFi. Limited free public parking a short walk away.

Review 34:Nothing

Review 35:The location is central. You can park and walk to all the important areas. The view is tres bon. It's surrounded by fantastic restaurants and very reasonably priced. Park sing for the car is a short walk away.

Review 36:We thought the sea view was terrific. Breakfast was beautifully fresh. Recommend dinner in the hotel restaurant, after a stroll around town.

Review 37:La location.

Review 38:wonderful view worth paying for sea view and great fish resteurant below! basic hotel we felt was good value.

Review 39:no shower head attachment to the wall

Review 58:Location and good value for money given the location.

Review 59:Room very small and noisy from traffic and parking difficult.

Review 60:Location was good.

Review 61:Great view and right on the beach. Plus right above best restaurant in town.

Review 62:No kettle in the room and no hair dryer .

Review 63:The location and the view. The clean and quiet atmosphere .

Review 64:The bed was horribly noisy and the isolation is not good at all...

Review 65:Maybe a bit to expensive for what we had but the view was amazing, we were next to the beaux and to be honest, we would definitely go back to triton just because it's close to everything!

Review 66:No parking. Had to pay to park in a public car park about 500 metres away. Breakfast was served in entrance foyer of hotel

Review 67:The views, convenient for town centre

Review 68:- No curtains on window - No hook for shower head - Extra pillows would have been good.

Review 69:- Location close to beach and village centre with all the shops and restaurants - Having an en-suite - Price
