Reviews for Auberge de la Reine Jeanne
Review 1:They have a problem with their installations, to go to the reception youneed to cross the terrace and they don' t want you to go acrossduring the lunchtime or dinner. A very impolite chef came out of thekitchen to prevent me from taking my luggage! They made me fell veryuncomfortable and had very rude manners, I wouldn't recommend thisplace, itit is not worth it.
Review 2:Nothing
Review 3:This auberge is wonderfully French So refreshing not like the normal ...could be anywhere in the world plush hotel Each room was different and so full of character ...our bathroom had rustic stone walls it was beautiful The staff were so friendlly We ate there one night and had their signature dish ..it was to die for ! A wonderful holiday
Review 4:The room interior is a little shabby, the long hair rugs are quite disgusting and the bathroom, including shower curtain, poor lighting and wash bowl are either inconvenient or just ugly. And that includes the brown pained walls. The restaurant, although a good gourmet, is far too expensive. The staff smokes on steps dumps burning cigarette butts
Review 5:The location is perfect, in the heart of St. Remi. The yard with the restaurant is lovely.
Review 6:It wasn't a bad experience, necessarily, but of the six places we stayed in our 25 days in Europe, this was the least impressive and cost the most money. Staff was aloof. Room decor is a combination of Salvation Army and IKEA.
Review 7:The A/C, spacious room (family room) and bathroom, and the bathtub. The restaurant was pretty but too expensive.
Review 8:There is no lift to the second floor which is annoying if you have heavy luggage. They didn't provide towels and soap on daily basis, we had to ask them to do so. The breakfast was poor.
Review 9:The auberge in itself is cosy and located near the souk.
Review 10:Wifi is not available at room, need to go down to the lobby to have Wifi access.
Review 11:Very friendly and helpful owner! What's more the owner is the champion of a national cooking campain. You can not miss the great opportunity to try the food in the wonderful restaurant downstairs.
Review 12:The room didn't have any wardrobes and a carpeted floor in a smallish room is never very clean. Breakfast at 14€ per person was far too expensive - there was a superb breakfast a few metres up the street for a fraction of the price. Dinner was overpriced as was the wine. They are very attentive, but will not be on our return visit.
Review 13:The location in the city was perfec
Review 14:We thought that the hotel needed refurbishing and change compared to it's restaurant and kitchen facilities. The room was okay but the door was creeking and in the morning we found ants in our bed!!!
Review 15:The service was mediocre and the staff were helpful at times. The restaurant's food was delicious but the service was slow.
Review 16:The room location can be a bit noise during the night if faces the front street.
Review 17:The central location is very convenient in our case as we were traveling with bicycles. The staff is very helpful and very kind.
Review 18:The morning we woke up there must have been the weekly street cleaning and trash pick-up. Between six and seven, the roar of the sweepers and the collection of trash bins was deafening. All part of the charm of being in the center of the city, I assume.
Review 19:Lovely hotel in the center of town.Old, cultured, takes-one-back-a-bit-in-time feeling. Expansive bathroom, stone walls, large windows overlooking the busy street below. Pleasant and accommodating staff. Great little restaurant.
Review 20:Food & drinks pricings, noise in one bedroom (though - we admit, the receptionist did warn us, he was honest about it).
Review 21:Our appartement room was spacious and clean! One bedroom looks the main road around old town, so it was really noisy. But the reception was nice and breakfast good. It is not cheap though (2 glasses of rosé were 16€!).
Review 22:Restaurant staff made us wait long time between the courses, after forgetting to bring fresh bread going with the starter, there was no apology and the same repeated later. Staff well presented (dressed) but not well mannered. The noise from the hallway in the morning can wake one up. I'm not a morning person and always sleep well in the morning, yet other guests leaving their rooms woke me up. I guess there is not much that can be done about it, rather than a sound proof set of doors perhaps.
Review 23:Room clean, classy, pleasant and spacious. Stylish rustic bathroom. Location also very convenient.
Review 24:Room 2 overlooks a VERY noisy street. Breakfast is limited and disappointing. Booked dinner and was not given the table requested. Found hard plastic in amuse bouche, waitress took it away but no-one even came to apologise. Poor service.
Review 25:Handy location for the town centre. Attractive courtyard. Good food.
Review 26:Informed that the room pictured in confirmation printout wasn't the room available as it was a different layout. Most upset as I was sold on the idea of having a fireplace within the bedroom. Also no chair to sit at desk, so had to get from reception myself.
Review 27:Ease to access old city and the Van Gogh museum at St. Paul de Mausolee
Review 28:The tub and the shower curtains not so comfortable. We didn't appreciate the moquette on the floor.
Review 29:The hotel is in the middle of the village and has a great position to visit Provance area. The room was quit and the bed comfortable. People working at Auberge de la Reine Jeanne were nice.
Review 30:Reine Jeanne is convenient and enjoyable. I'm pleased to say there is nothing not to like.
Review 31:Reine Jeanne is a very charming inn, and super convenient, as it is located directly in Saint-Remy. Breakfasts were quite nice. Imagine being served a framboise smoothie! Not to mention their restaurant is top-notch. Recommended!
Review 32:No door to the toilette and bathroom! No free outlets in the room, if you want to charge your phone you need to disconnect the light. There is high and uncomfortable stairs to the room and no elevator. The breakfast is very poor, and doesn't worth 12 euro. No parking.
Review 33:The food is tasty but very expansive (32 euro per person for dinner). The location is good. They gave us to leave a day earlier as we wasn't happy.
Review 34:The early morning setting up of the market stalls was rather noisy (but then again that is French life). Also, the man at the desk failed to tell us the gate code was on our key. Luckily another couple had just arrived at he same time we did so we could enter the property.
Review 35:We loved its central location and the large room with its very comfortable bed. A charming place that was very well priced.

Review 38:The location was excellent for sightseeing in St. Remy and surrounding area.
