Reviews for Hotel Schloss Fernsteinsee

Review 1:Stay in the fabulous castle. It's a beautiful property with a stunning lake across the road. Apparently it's a known spot for divers. We were there one night and it was well worth the experience!

Review 2:The noise

Review 3:Very interesting place. They have a castle, lake with boats (free!)and perfect views, but the road is under the windows and a little bit of noise (this road is not on pictures) but other things Is just perfect!

Review 4:Very difficult to figure out where to go to check in. The signs point to the entrance but then you aren't sure if you're parking where you should be. There is no place to park while you check in. There is no parking near the front desk at all. There are no signs pointing you in the direction of the front desk.

Review 5:It was really hot and rooms were not equipped with either ACs or electric fans, I think providing just fans during hot summer will be more than enough.

Review 6:Great Location with easy access to many areas in Tirol Friendly and Helpful staff and great service Rooms are spacious, clean with a wonderful balcony overlooking the Fernsteinsee Delicious Breakfast Buffet

Review 7:Wireless Internet was slow. Hotel is aware of it.This is due to the location of the hotel. No faster internet option is available.

Review 8:Quiet, clean room. Great view. Calm, peaceful.

Review 9:Private section at the lake needs a little more love and attention. Chairs and tables look half-abandoned, which is a pity. 15 minutes each day would be all it takes to make it tidy and attractive.

Review 10:Location and views. Access to lovely lake. Old fashioned but charming decor. Reasonable parking.Warm service.

Review 11:The castle and restaurant are of higher standing; the camping and nearby restaurant somewhat shabby. Not very much to do.

Review 12:Very nice suite in a very special castle. Very nice location as a stop-over on the way to Sud-Tirol

Review 13:Not possible to visit the actual castle, if you do not have a room from it. Slow wifi. No A/C.

Review 14:Excellent service in reception and restaurant. Fastest room service ever. Clean. Very good breakfast and dinner.

Review 15:Only a small point - Parking below the hotel and dragging the luggage over rough ground and up a steep slope was not easy, especially in the rain.

Review 16:Welcoming staff, Excellent Restaurant (the very best weiner schnitzel I have ever been served), Room that was spotlessly clean

Review 17:The castle does not have air conditioning, and our room was very hot.

Review 18:We stayed here for one night in the castle. It is clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very good and view from the castle is fantastic.

Review 19:hotel on main noissy road reception man is not polite not nice to be in this hotel

Review 20:the lake

Review 21:The wifi isn't very good and the room is overpriced.

Review 22:The beds are very comfortable and the there is a great view from the balcony.

Review 23:Nothing

Review 24:The room with old fashion, like I'm in the medieval era, so it was great experience

Review 25:Slight hard-sell to fork out extra for the posher rooms.

Review 26:All the ornate, over the top decorations

Review 27:nothing, for me everything was fine.

Review 28:everything. the kindness and helpfullnes of the staff in a dramatic situation. a place to revisit soon.

Review 29:Room was slightly warm but great effort made for comfort- and was very hot midsummer day.

Review 30:Very comfortable and lovely staff. Convenient to Adlerweg.

Review 31:Guests seemed to be graded with all the best tables reserved at dinner (and breakfast) if you were on 'five course' menu. A bit like finding all the best sun loungers having towels reserving them !! We also drove past twice before finding the entrance to the car park.

Review 32:Good location and restaurant served good local food. Although on very busy road the hotel room was well insulated from the noise.

Review 33:It is the best hotel I have ever stayed, even better than five-star hotels.

Review 34:A little noisy from the road, also very hot in rooms in summer

Review 35:Very good hotel, very nice staff, nice location

Review 36:Fantastic location, excellent service, castle suite outstanding.
