Inter-Hotel D'Angleterre

Inter-Hotel D'Angleterre descritpion
Inter-Hotel D'Angleterre sells fast on our site. A charming hotel in an 18th century property, Inter-Hotel D'Angleterre has comfortably modern and well decorated rooms, most of which have a sea view.
A "creperie" – serving French-style pancakes – and an English pub offers places to relax with family or friends.
The hotel is located 150 feet from the beach at Fecamp - a beautiful seaside town and historic, and artistic center. The famous cliffs of Etretat and the fishing village of Yport are nearby.

Reviews for Inter-Hotel D'Angleterre
Review 1:The toilet fitted to the en suite facility in Room 26 is very badly located. It is impossible for a normal human being to sit on the toilet in it's existing position. It would be a simple task to realign the toilet.
Review 2:We have stayed here several times before. We like all the attributes listed above.
Review 3:Spoke only French, Stairs cantilevered and almost spiral with no handrail on one side in places, all of which made carrying cases difficult especially if of limited mobility. I paid for car parking but it did not seem any more secure than public parking very close. Breakfast very limited. limited. Worst of three Inter-hotel we stayed at this trip.
Review 4:Easy walk to most of the port and the town
Review 5:The rooms and hallways are a little dingy. The breakfast was meager for the price. Parking was awkward in the little tiny area behind the hotel. Don't bring a big car! The view from the rooms was not very good. The hotel is overpriced.
Review 6:The location is very near the beach and that was the best thing about the hotel. The staff are few and so you have to wait if they are serving breakfast but they are very courteous and friendly and will very happily answer questions.
Review 7:Our bedroom was in an annex, and did not resemble any of the photos on the site. The hallway was dowdy, smelt a bit stale. The carpet was a mid brown ratan, that gave the room a dismal, slightly unclean feel. The bath had a shower extension but no holder, so taking a shower was virtually impossible.
Review 8:Buffet breakfast better than anticipated. Choice of 2 cereals, good bread, croissants, ham and salami. Good camembert. Hot water for tea.Bed was comfortable enough, though not king size.
Review 9:Dingy, dark and old fashioned, toilet didn't flush properly in room so a trip down 2 flights of stairs to use a loo!! Tiny double bed, I paid 10 euros for an upgrade, hate to think what the room would have been like if I had not.....
Review 10:Easy parking
Review 11:Minor issues. no lift, spiral staircase, reserve car parking difficult, no hairdryer.
Review 12:Small & friendly. Spotlessly clean. Clean towels every day. Reasonably priced room, food &drinks. Spacious room (superior).
Review 13:No lift so could be slow for some people but 87 yr old father was ok.
Review 14:Very French hotel in great location, short walk to quay, casino, bars. Off street parking locked at night. Beautiful restaurant, lovely food. Really friendly staff.
Review 15:The breakfast was very good, but we wish they offered a kids discount.
Review 16:We liked the room with a double plus twin and then another twin in an alcove. Gave the kids some room.
Review 17:Bit more tourist info would have been helpful. Long way up spiral staircase to rooms for elderly person. Probably should have asked for rooms lower down. Only stayed one night so not too much of a problem. Overall very good
Review 18:Close to beach. Bars, restaurants close by. Friendly excellent breakfast.
Review 19:no lift.
Review 20:The setting close to the sea front with cafe and restaurants close by and easy access to town center.
Review 21:Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Felt authentic.
Review 22:Stairs
Review 23:Seaside location, marine influenced decor
Review 24:very clean, friendly staff, not far from Etretat
Review 25:Close to beach and facilities. Good value breakfast. Staff very accommodating.
Review 26:Circular staircase ok for us but our friends are older and had to be careful
Review 27:Buffet breakfast and good coffee
Review 28:Old building which was renovated not long time ago. Rooms are basic, but all the bathroom equipment was new.
Review 29:No shower. Despite being May the weather was cold and there was no heating in the rooms. Overpriced for two star hotel.
Review 30:Breakfast. Close to sea front.
Review 31:no hair dryer in the room unfriendly staff at the reception room/corridor quiet noisy
Review 32:Bed; Breakfast; Room Decoration
Review 33:Unfriendly service. No elevator; three stairs; not suitable for elderly people
Review 34:The stairs. Compared to the three star hotel we stayed in in Bayeux, I regret to say l'hotel d'Angleterre in Fecamp was NOT good value. Your competitors knock you for six as we say in English! (Your breakfast however was on a par with Bayeux, so top marks for that.)
Review 35:All aspects of the accommodation.
Review 36:The pub was a bit of a damp squib, but could be nice.
Review 37:Breakfast was provided with a smile. Rooms were very clean. We had a decent view and good weather, which always helps.
Review 38:In this case - no complains.
Review 39:We like this hotel and their own old style. This style is everywhere. And no matter that water pressure is too low in the bathroom, gauzy walls, bed too noisy, nobody speaks, but understood English. This hotel is charmed.
Review 40:I was here in February, probably in summer is different. I had small heating only in the bathroom, and as it was cold outside, the room was not warm enough.
Review 41:The location is very good, see view from the window, silent streets around. Few meters and I could walking in the coast. Breakfast is nice. The city center and supermarkets are from long walking distance, but for me was no problem, just you have to know it.
Review 42:They did not keep our two room reservation, so we were given a room for 4 people, and price per person was the same, where it had to have been lower.
Review 43:Location
Review 44:Excellent location in center just close to the beach. Good place to stay to discover the Albâtre coast. The rooms quite old but well maintained. Friendly bilingual staff. Reach breakfast compare the over French hotels.
Review 45:No lift, we were on the 3rd floor. Small bed. Miniscule smelly bathroom, handheld shower. Overpriced for the facilities we got.
Review 46:Very little
Review 47:Friendly welcome.

Review 57:Breakfast Location next to the sea
Review 58:Comfort in large rooms. Charming furniture.
Review 59:We found the menu limited,it seemed to consist only of crepes for the evening meal.
Review 60:Close to seaside, good breakfastFor a 2 star hotel with sea views I thought this was good value and offered a pleasant stay.
