Reviews for Les Chambres de Naevag

Review 1:The location of Les Chambres de Naevag is fantastic - in the old town, close to shops and restaurants, and convenient to all the great places of interest like the St-Paul Hospital (where Van Gogh self-admitted) ancient Glanum and, a little further out, the amazing Les-Baux. Gil, the owner, was always willing to help in any way.

Review 2:Not one thing to complain about.

Review 3:In the center of town, easy walking to all the shopping, restaurants and sites in st. Remy. Both apts are beautifully decorated, private, quiet and peaceful. The owners are remodeling another apartment and it looks ever more fabulous. Just downstairs are two amazing restaurants, easy few steps to bakeries...breakfast options. Excellent value for the month..,the owners/hosts are very accommodating, kind, helpful and friendly. Would not stay anywhere else. St. remy is very centrally located to such wonderful sites....without being in the middle of a big city.

Review 4:No lift and lots of steps to climb to our room. Breakfast cost more than was advertised.

Review 5:Gilles was very accomodating. The location was right in the center of the village and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Review 6:The hotel is easy to find (and drive to) down the one way streets of the old town of Saint-Rémy, but there is no where to park near the B&B and the hosts didn't provide much help before you actually get to the front door where there is a note with a phone number to ring. Don't know why, but the WiFi is flakey, sometimes working with a strong signal, while other times it is hard to find the signal.

Review 7:The location is right in the middle of where the restaurants and the Wednesday market are. The hosts are lovely people, even giving us a punnet of fresh strawberry one day. We had the smaller of the two rooms on the first floor, and it comes with a small fridge and balcony where you can sit in the evenings with your drinks and nibbles which you can't have in you room. Breakfast was at a restaurant near by, but the owners are building a breakfast bar under the B&B.

Review 8:wall to bathroom is see through curtains are...an acquired taste

Review 9:loved the old world charm. perfect location. excellent and very helpful owner. parking available but about 2 mins walk away.

Review 10:Unfortunately this was a disaster for us. I am a Blue Badge holder and the very steep stairs 2 flights were awful. The bed was in a box in the middle of quite a small room so you could not sit on the bed without the discomfort of the wooden surround. The toilet was up another level of 2 dangerous narrow steps made from pebbles. There was a window in the loo over the stairs for everyone to see you on the throne. The shower was adjacent to the loo with no curtain or privacy but was for France a very good shower. In the bigger room next door was a huge hot tub which occupied the whole room. We were met by a lady who only spoke French, normally my wife and I get by with French but not spoken at a100 km an hour. We understood we could not pay by credit card as the restaurant they used was closed so we paid cash, she lied it was open. The WiFi did not work so we could not rebook as we cancelled our 2nd night. On return we were accused of a "No Show" and they took payment for the 2nd night from our card, I have not been told if my card payment has been refunded. You have been warned !!

Review 11:The shower was good

Review 12:Our kids are 4 and 6 which was ok for the loft room, but if your kids are any younger, the ladder was very steep and it could be a bit dangerous.

Review 13:Design and decoration was great. Location amazing, breakfast was wonderful.

Review 14:nothing, but quite difficult to navigate on first arrival. we eventuallu drive to to tourist office, who were very helpful and after that it was simple to find and park

Review 15:well appointed, modern room. right in town centre , with great restaurant down stairs (also owned by landlord). Breakfast can be arranged , which we appreciated.

Review 16:It got a bit hot upstairs even with the aircon on, but we were there in exceptionally hot weather. An electric jug would have been useful.

Review 17:This was a very stylish apartment in a fantastic location in the old town. Owner was very helpful with showing us where there was free parking. We would stay there again. The TV was excellent, we were able to get English language programmes.

Review 18:The baluster of the loft wasn't very child-safe; we had to re-inforce it with our bags in order to avoid the possibility of the children falling off the loft in case they fell out of bed at night.

Review 19:Newly renovated, very nice and clean room with a loft for the children, a touch of luxury and a private spa. Owners speak very good English and helped us to find free parking (wich can be tricky).

Review 20:Very nice host, centrally located, spotless clean!
