Reviews for Les Loges Du Parc
Review 1:The breakfast was very simple (and not worth 10 euros per person in our opinion) so we didn't eat at the lodge. There was no hairdryer in the room, but they provided them at the front desk which was nice.
Review 2:We loved the big terrace overlooking the lake from our room. The room was nice and cosy and the Lodge had a really nice feel to it. It was right across the street from the park and the lake, which was a bonus.
Review 3:I went for the Gerardmer Triathlon. We had the change of having late check-in (good when you had a long trip), breakfast time addapted to the course time and safe room to store the bike. 2min walking from the bike park. Excellent.
Review 4:There was no Minibar and the Reception is closed at 9 PM as well for dinner I had to leave the Hotel. Bathroom should be modernized, room itself is OK.
Review 5:The Location had been nice based on the fact I had a Business Meeting near by.
Review 6:Bathroom was dingy and old fashioned and in definite need of replacement. No UHT or powdered milk in room and just two sachets of coffee!
Review 7:Lovely view over lake with a terrace (though it's not private) Garage parking for motorcycle. Kettle in room.
Review 8:REALLY small room. Bath "room" was hard to move in and had no real door (which is a bummer when travelling with friends). Breakfast was ok but not allot of fruit and healthy things. At 10 euro a bit overpriced.
Review 9:Small swimming pool is very nice because it was really hot. Location is good.
Review 10:.......as you enter the pool area there is an illustrated flow chart of how to behave. Mostly "don'ts" but a very valuable "do"...go to the toilet first! Nice touch. There is a no food policy in the rooms and this included milk for tea and coffee. There is a kettle though. We wanted a picnic by the lake so thought we'd take a couple of little butters and a triangle of cheese to go with the bread we bought from a nearby bakery but was told in no uncertain terms the taking food from the restaurant is FORBIDDEN. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Review 11:The lakeside location is beautiful (except the ugly casino). Plenty of choices for eating within walking distance for a range of budgets. The Voges are fabulous and the views magnificent. The hotel pool is great too, but.......
Review 12:The hotel is well situated with easy access to the lac and the town centre. The staff really nice and efficient. The breakfast is great and accommodating for all tastes. It is a great place to stay for discovering the area in summer, and must be an excellent place to stay for skiing in winter.
Review 13:It can be quite noisy at the weekend- near a park, casino and boy racers up and down. No air con so had to have window open so couldn't avoid the noise Plus there are signs saying not to eat breakfast on the terrace do to the pool but the pool is on a separate terrace- it would be nice to eat outside
Review 14:Location great by the lake, bike lock up facility Good value Lovely small but v clean pool
Review 15:The breakfast was very good but a tad on the expensive side at €10 per head per night.
Review 16:The room is basic but comfortable and homely. The staff are friendly and it was easy to find.
Review 17:Free wifi : you have to watch a publicity video of 2 min. to gain access ...
Review 18:Close to Gerardmer Ski domain Possibility to change and shower evening of checkout-day Nice breakfast
Review 19:Room and bathroom are a bit old, but they are still functional
Review 20:The hotel is exactly what you see. Well located, good facilities (it has a very decent lift), good showers. Excellent WIFI
Review 21:Only downside was the wifi although free you only got two hours and then had to sign in again which is a pain.
Review 22:Location was excellent and the staff very helpfull would certainly stay there again
Review 23:wifi marchait tres mal (annexe) horaires de reception limites petit Dej basic
Review 24:Small room for a small price.
Review 25:Perfectly clean, comfortable bed, right next to the lake.
Review 26:It was friendly, convenient, very helpful staff and a wonderful view of the lake. Car parking ws easy and much appreciated.

Review 28:lake side view, garage for motorcycles.
Review 29:When it was time to leave
Review 30:I liked the smooth running ng of the hotel
Review 31:Clean room and friendly, helpful staff.
Review 32:No hairdryer as we were on a motorbike needed one.
Review 33:Location good nice town
Review 34:None.
Review 35:We could stay at the pool in the afternoon after checking out. Good bed.
Review 36:- pas la possibilité de nettoyer son vélo
Review 37:- lit confortable
Review 38:late arival was not apricated by the staf. Since there is a wooden floor and this makes noise for other people.
Review 39:great room and good location. and good breakfast.
Review 40:Wi-fi in the hotel is free, however reception on the 2nd floor was very weak, perhaps the wifi modem was not working.
Review 41:Everything was wonderful, very helpful reception, hassle free service and nice buffet in the morning. Rooms were very clean.
Review 42:sound isolation (we were woken up by our neighbours coming in from a night of heavy drinking at 6 am, talking at the top of their voices); wifi rather cumbersome; too few power pojnts and clothes hangers.
Review 43:location; staff; reasonable value for money
Review 44:Small rooms. In my opinion the hotel should be more like 2 starts instead of 3. Only basic toiletries. no hair dryer and very poor room isolation.
Review 45:Easy to find, in front of a nice lake, private parking. the hotel is close by resto and bars but Gerardmer is not that big
Review 46:“Pleasant cheap stay for a ski trip” 6 Mar 2013 phew01 I have stayed inmany of Gerardmers hotels and for this trip with friends was on a bitmore of a budget - pound euro rate is harsh these days!!Check in was easy with English speaking staff, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast served in a nice room overlooking the lake with a reasonable selection of food. Evening meals not available but it's only a few minutes to the town centre. Suggestions - hotel has a nice seating area with books and board games available alongside reception - as reception is manned until 9 pm then it must be easy enough to have a small bar even if only serving a few bottled beers and soft drinks? Possibly add a sauna to some of this space?
Review 47:There is a street in front of the hotel that could be a bit noisy atnight: There is a casino on the corner and a bar nearby. It was quieterwith the windows closed, but there is no air conditioning or fans. Forprivacy, it would have been nice to have sheer curtains as well as heavyones. In room 24, we had dark curtains so the room was either too sunnywith the curtains open, or too dark with them closed. We had a very hardtime staying connected to the internet in our room.
Review 48:This is a well-run hotel with very helpful staff. The location is great, with a little park and playground across the street and the beautifullake a few steps away. There are plenty of restaurants and things to doin walking distance. The pool was great, with lots of comfortable andstylish seating around it. Drinks were available poolside. The breakfastroom was lovely, and the cold breakfast buffet was ok and well-stocked.
Review 49:The room : no shower stand, no hairdryer, rather oldfashioned style, small bed (1m20), pillows way too soft. Restaurant area : cats sleeping on the tables where people have to eat afterwards ?? During breakfast, no clearing of the tables (so when arriving at 09:30, almost no clean table anymore). Upon arrival, friendly people, but no real support/contact to help you around the hotel/area. The heated pool is in fact not heated (around 20°).
Review 50:The breakfast is extensive. In a nice surrounding with a beautiful view in the lake. Friendly people.
Review 51:The noise at night from the Casino and park accross the street was loud late into the night and disturbed our sleep. Seemed like the location is right where Gerardmer youth likes to cruise at night.
Review 52:Hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Location was good for our purpose. Kids liked the pool. Park with playground accross the street. Good access to bicycling. Nice dining and shopping within easy walking distance.
Review 53:Tired Hotel, indifferent staff, don't stay here, Gerardmer also at best average, maybe during snow season, but not for us.
Review 54:Comfortable bed
Review 55:Our room was the cheapest and so it was very small.
Review 56:Everything.
Review 57:room on second floor in separate building tiny bathroom

Review 59:Staff tried to be helpful.
Review 60:Seemed a bit quiet at times as reception was not open all day
Review 61:Very well located hotel pool was small but good
Review 62:Breakfast bit expensive

Review 66:It can use upgrading of some things.
Review 67:Perfect location with unparalelled view. The staff was very helpful and hospitable, which made me feel at home.
Review 68:Rooms are warm and kept clean. Staff are friendly. Location is very good, it is walking distance to the town centre and restaurants.
