Reviews for Los Helechos
Review 1:The bedding could have been a bit better (a long bolster for a double bed). In addition, a fridge would have been a useful asset.
Review 2:The location was good - off the beaten track but not far to the main square etc.
Review 3:No warning signs about slippery surfaces near pool area cafe/bar poorly stocked. Mosquito infestation in our bedroom and our friends bedroom resulting in lots of bites
Review 4:free car parking. nice open courtyard area
Review 5:There wasn't any space in the hotel carpark for ours.
Review 6:The pool and sun terrace are a lovely place to relax. The hotel is beautifully decorated, our room was big and comfortable. It's only a couple of minutes from the centre.
Review 7:Noice from other guests in the open inner area of the Hotel. Unusually difficult car parking, narrow entrance in a 90 degree bend makes it unsutable for anything but smaller cars.
Review 8:A Nice location if you like to og out eating tapas
Review 9:Dont choose the top floor in winter as exposed to the elements and 1 day it rained very heavily.Stairs need to have better lighting.Been before so realise there is limited garage space and very tight getting in and out.
Review 10:Air con needed but was efficient.Good Wi Fi connection.Lots of hot water for a bath/shower.Great location all year round to get to town centre for shops, the great tapas bars and not far to walk to paseo maritimo
Review 11:We‘ve never seen so degusted reception personnel , completely helpless… We suppose, they make their duties for punishment. Only one man spoke English a little and he was very surprised that we come from so far away for three days. It’s a pity the swimming pool was closed and nobody can’t explain why, especially the weather was good and water was inside; many guests wanted go for a dip.
Review 12:Very nice place, pleasant and clean rooms, the cleaners helpfull and polite.
Review 13:Did not like the noise of the traffic or the constant ringing of the bells in the covent next door nobody really spoke much English and there was no food on offer. Breakfast very sparse which we had to pay extra for. Area did not cater for English.
Review 14:Good location to town
Review 15:Rooms are very basic, but clean. I asked for a room with a better view, but was told none were available, even though the hotel was not full.
Review 16:Location was good.
Review 17:Hotel has a great location just 3 minutes from a square with bars and restaurants etc. Hotel has a lot of character and rooms were very spacious and clean
Review 18:Nothing bad at all but a small fridge in room would have been nice
Review 19:Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. Ten minutes from the beach and close to town centre
Review 20:No dislikes
Review 21:Close to cafes, shops, and the main town square. Exciting place to be in the summer evenings. Fabulous Tapas Bars in vicinity. Now has a dip pool, very welcoming during the hot summer days.
Review 22:Less than 2 mins from center... but silent! Less than 5 mins from the best restaurants in town (and at least one of them one of the best in Spain)! Free parking facilities!
Review 23:Wi Fi only available in downstairs lobby but signal was good. Garage only had space for 18 cars and very tight. We were very lucky to have a space both nights otherwise parking in the streets would have been a nightmare but these areas were not built for cars Another hotel in the centre had no parking so we had to be grateful for what we got.
Review 24:Perfectly placed for the tapas district, and the bodegas Tapas, wines and sherries very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere in the summer evenings with mostly Spanish on holidays Located close to routes out of town. Lift in hotel very useful
Review 25:Wi Fi only in lobby

Review 50:Nothing
Review 51:Great Location, lovely 2nd floor terrace with chairs and swimming pool, Free garaging for car, charming central courtyard with fountain.
Review 52:Parking not available for 2nd night. Far from beach and better restaurants. Front desk staff need PR training.
Review 53:Courtyard, pool, bath, close to main squares and mercado.
Review 54:Beautiful place which make you dream somewhere back to a pleasent and romatic place in the past - or in the future. But - its now (-: Love the smell of clean white sheets, the sound of the fountain in the patio. The architecture and the andalucian mosaic is amazing
Review 55:Unfortunately, there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. A pity, because it was a chilly, misty morning in early March.
Review 56:We loved the patios and the sweet-smelling jasmine, and the lovely Moorish feel about the hotel.
Review 57:The convent bells next door waking us early in the morning. Minor maintenance issues - new bulb needed for lamp outside room, toilet cistern plunger not sealing properly so constant drip of water, bathroom door had dropped and scraped the floor.
Review 58:A basic, clean comfortable and friendly hotel, with free secure parking, convenient for the centre of Sanlúcar.
Review 59:The Andalucian decor and layout of the hotel are very attractive. It is in a central location with a great selection of informal restaurants close by. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it has good private parking facilities
Review 60:It could be a bit noisy, as rooms open out on a central courtyard, and so people coming in late at night can wake you up!
Review 61:Loved the central location. The staff were very helpful, and they provided us with a good travel cot for the baby. It was a nice traditional Spanish style.
Review 62:The only negative was the lack of comfort of the beds. Three persons of various ages and none found the beds comfortable.
Review 63:Ambience, friendliness, location, authenticity, quaintness. The directional signage upon entering Sanlucar de Barrameda was excellent.
Review 64:Wifi didn't work, bed soft, noisy (you could hear everything goingon in the patio or doors opening and closing all the time) Despite this,I woud book again
Review 65:Location, parking space
Review 66:A lovely hotel friendly and hel[ful staff in a good location in the centre of a charming Andalucian town. Excellent base to explore the superb nearby Donana nature park.
Review 67:Water in bath changes its temperature randomly. No kettle and fridge. Too expensive.
