Reviews for Residence Melody

Review 1:We stayed 3 nights with our two kids recently. It is very clean and enough space for kids and us. We had a breakfast at our beautiful terrace. Easy to park and also reach our car. Kids loved the swimming pool. 10 minutes to walk St. Remy old town. Aldi was just next door to shop.

Review 2:The room was very nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. And most importantly, the proprietress contacted us personally after we checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She remained available and helpful during our two day stay and her presence was very much appreciated.

Review 3:Need to drive to village for restaurants for evening meal, (did walk to village in day time). A spare roll of toilet paper and a small box of tissues would have been be good.

Review 4:Facilities of room including terrace furniture, close to supermarkets & being able to cook/prepare meals. Close to main roads for touring area/other villages. Lovely host. Clean and tidy grounds.

Review 5:We had the two bedroom apartment and were more than pleased with what it offered. There is lots of space for 4 adults. We enjoyed cooking a few meals at home and eating on the terrace. We also made good use of the swimming pool and hot tub. The location is right next to a discount market and just a 15 minute walk into town. The owner, Daniella, is so accommodating, friendly and kind. We highly recommend a stay at Residence Melody!

Review 6:No written explanation on using the equipment in the apartment, one hot plate on cooker not working, not a comprehensive group of kitchen utensils, nevertheless good overall

Review 7:Spacious accommodation, helpful staff, swimming pool, easy access to supermarkets, secure parking,God location for travelling to interesting places

Review 8:Noise of traffic during day time Location of residence

Review 9:Very comfortable big appartment with 2 bedrooms Nice swimming pool area Only 10 minutes walk for city centre

Review 10:We could hear the club behind the building at night. Once asleep it was fine, but it was a bit loud.

Review 11:Pool was fabulous, room itself was beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway. Grounds were beautiful with green lawn and outdoor patio. Merci beaucoup!

Review 12:The attention from the manager is excellent, the apartments are well equipped and it enjoys a good location in a beautiful village in the center of Western Provence

Review 13:Our host was so welcoming and friendly and took a lot of time to tell us the sights in Provence. We only had one day in Provence, so we appreciated her help with this. The accommodation was beautiful. Extremely clean and comfortable and nicely decorated/furnished - a perfect place to stay. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Review 14:I booked for two bedroom apartment, but it turns out that it's not a two bedroom apartment afterall, maybe I read the information wrong but I would advise potential bookers to be careful when about to book. The apartment wasn't the cleanest, and we had to throw away all the garbage ourselves at the end of our trip, which is a bit weird. Wifi was very slow when all 5 of us went on it.

Review 15:good location to explore the rest of provence attractions, essentially no more than 1.5 hours from everywhere you would want to go. Residence Melody is only 2 min car ride to the downtown of St. Remy, where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Review 16:Leaving.

Review 17:The dedication of owner and staff: they were there when we needed them and never when we did not. The peaceful setting and private, homely apartment. The proximity to town. The relaxing jacuzzi.

Review 18:Very little.

Review 19:Extremely good value for money, lovely pool area, easy access to town and other areas. Nice to strike up conversation with neighbours on the terrace, everyone friendly. Nice touches and decor.

Review 20:Nothing

Review 21:It is an oasis with a walled garden surrounded by little apartments. You can eat on your own terasse overlooking the garden which is lovely! The pool was fun! You are 15 mins easy walk to St-Remy which is a lovely town. There is a lot to see in the area - easy access by car to Orange and Avignon. There are two supermarkets within walking distance and the kitchen facilities are good enough to prepare a good meal. The owner was very helpful and we ended up staying an extra night.

Review 22:The owner and staff are phenomenal. The facilities are newly updated in a very tasteful and comfortable manner. And it is clean!!! This is a perfect place to stay while you tour Provence.

Review 23:The restroom door opens to the kitchen, which is not very pleasant. The terrace faces the entrance area so, while you are having your breakfast or simply reading your book, you'll be observed by passerbys - little pricacy.

Review 24:Well equipped kitchen Good location Very friendly owner who gave us invaluable tips as to where to go and what to do, which made our trip to the region much more interesting than if we had done it by ourselves.

Review 25:The only thing I would change would have been the shower head.

Review 26:Everyone sooo good to us! The studio we had was quiet and peaceful! The gardens are nice. We also ate at their restaurant La Fontaine which was awesome! Everything at a decent price!

Review 27:Owner was very Nice Helpful with site seing info good restaurants our stay was excellent recommend very highly to anyone Whois watts à cal mandat peaceful oasis

Review 28:Bed was quite small and area where bed was small also.

Review 29:Having air conditioning was great plus a pool and nice outdoor table & chairs. Very spacious and undercover car park was a plus.

Review 30:Nothing. It met all our expectations.

Review 31:The location was good, next to a grocery store, on the Tarascon road just outside downtown. Quiet location, secure, with good parking, pool, spa and sauna and attractive gardens. The 2BR apartment was spacious and clean with seperate bathroom, toilet, bedrooms and large kitchen/dining/living area. The owners made us very welcome and we felt like we were visiting family. Helpful advice on places to visit in the area. A week just wasn't long enough. Price was less than hotels in downtown, and much better value.

Review 32:We had to stay for nights and not even one time our beds were made or bed lining and towels have been changed,we had to remove the rubbish from the room everyday ourselves. This resort is not suitable for 4 adults to stay overnight, maybe for a couple with one small child. The photos which you can see on the web site of booking.com do not illustriate the realty. The address on the website of booking.com is wrong, even with the help of gprs it was not easy to find the address. We have been charged for the poorest breakfast of my life 9 EU for each person, the breakfast consisted of bread.coffee, jam, butter and some slices of watermelon.

Review 33:We did not like anything

Review 34:Nothing.

Review 35:The owner was terrific. We came in very late on the night of our booking and she was there to greet us and lead us to our room. It was a very cozy two room suite. The staff was great, wifi worked great, and everything was there to cook your own meal. The hotel grounds are very secure with a gated entrance. Danielle, the owner, takes great pride in her beautiful property. She is constantly working on decoration improvements for each room.

Review 36:Couldn't sort out the sofa-bed.

Review 37:Friendliness of Danielle on arrival rather latish. When we said we were thirsty (meaning wanting a beer etc) she offered us some mineral water, much appreciated.

Review 38:Delightful host, lovely room, clean, comfortable with good facilities ( incl kitchenette). Nice & central.

Review 39:Next to 2 big supermarkets.

Review 40:Great place, lovely staff, parking,

Review 41:location is super, very nice room in provensal style, swimming pool, terrace, close to city

Review 42:Fantastic base to visit Provence. Staff went out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. Would definitely recommend to others.

Review 43:The size of beds in France. The quality of Wifi

Review 44:Had to wait for someone to open the gate (despite calling) & location is not walkable to St Remy main town area.

Review 45:Cleanliness, swimming pool

Review 46:Swimming pool and immaculate gardens. Also lovely to be able to eat out on your individual terrace.

Review 47:None.

Review 48:Rooms and private patio were lovely. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and happy hour with Danielle and the other guests.

Review 49:wifi not working at all, staff didn't bother to help

Review 50:nothing

Review 51:the location was quiet, and the position was near enough the town to not need a car.

Review 52:very small rooms , and shower. no place to move in the bed room

Review 53:good location pool is cool and clean it is a residence , pay attention

Review 54:Kitcheneware too broken, staff with smoke smell, too poor quality ofbreakfast with ten euros

Review 55:Only the location,néar the supermarket

Review 56:Very nice facilities. Great staff. Good location. Would love to go back

Review 57:More towels pleas

Review 58:Great place to relax yet easy accessibility to sites of interest

Review 59:proximity of our event. kind welcome and simple and efficient system. from the room close tto the parking the key and easy acces, to the breakfast.

Review 60:Although nice wasn't quite as plush as we would have liked.

Review 61:For a family, this is an excellent place to stay. Convenient location and has washing machine, microwave, refrigerator, and pool.

Review 62:We are truly enjoyed our stay. Daniel and her staff are very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The family also has excellent restaurant in village and we enjoyed French meals at The restaurant by the Fountain as well.

Review 63:Location was a bit far from town compared to other hotels we have stayed at in St. Remy;

Review 64:We liked having our own patio and table for breakfast in the morning. Hotel was quiet and we slept well after an odyssey trip to Europe from the US. Rooms are well equipped for a long stay with fridge, kitchenette, etc. Manager was very nice, but more English would have been helpful.

Review 65:The website under sells this gorgeous place. It's a boutique 6 room hotel, very modern, stunning gardens/setting, lovely clean bright and well designed rooms. The breakfast was divine, and the pool gorgeous! Good location, 10mins walk to town.highly recommend thank you!

Review 66:Very pretty acommodation in lovely surroundings. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen. There was even a washing machine in the bathroom. Supermarkets close by.

Review 67:Away from the city center. Didn't feel the room was clean, maybe because the linens and overall decor seemed very old.

Review 68:Stayed here only for a night, so I didn't enjoyed the benefits of a fully equipped kitchen. However, since the city is quite expensive, to have this facility is a plus.

Review 69:Arrived late in day on Saturday, Sunday we realized there was no supply of toilet paper except for the very small amount on the roll. Problem being its Sunday and stores closed and owners not available. Had to search the town for a store that was open Second.... Accommodations did not appear dirty but if clothes touch the floor they were dusty Third... Not a fan of the bathroom setup ( toilet is separate from sink and shower) but this was common throughout our visit to southern france Fourth... We stayed four nights and no cleaning of room or s Changing of sheets. We did get clean towels daily as we requested in our booking ( asked for towels daily as a review mentioned clean towels was a rarity)

Review 70:Great location, just a few minutes walk to town center. Grocery store next door but a bigger and better one about 5 min walk towards town. Cozy, and relaxed environment....great outdoor space. With parking so difficult, Lou Paradou has plenty of parking for all Great wifi connection. Great location to call home..... With a car very easy to get to several other towns Even with the cons we would stay here again

Review 71:The only thing was that there was not a full oven, though there was a microwave combi.

Review 72:Staff kept a low profile but garden and pool maintained well. Not many people stay so you often have the pool to yourself. Aldi is next door, but better is Intermarche just a little further on. There is also a good (though a little expensive) bike hire place there too and a few other good shops. Town is a 10 min stroll. I guess most people would come here by car, but if not, the No 54 and 57 bus stop (Tarrascon, Arles) is just outside. NB you can also take bikes on the bus.

Review 73:Hot water is not hot on all the hotel facilities- if u like a hotshower.. Not the place for you. Didnt clean the room for our stay... Itsmore an appartment than a hotel... And without hot water. Value for money-poor. There are alot better hotels in provence and even in st.Remy's area for that price and cheaper

Review 74:Kitchen is fully equipped

Review 75:Located in a commercial zone You can hear the noise from the street

Review 76:Nice pool

Review 77:Smoking of other guests on adjoining terraces

Review 78:Nice apartment with outside sitting area, pool and sauna very enjoyable

Review 79:This is one of the most thoughtfully set up places for travellers we have stayed throughout our extensive travels.

Review 80:very friendly staff, romantic, excelent location, pool/sauna

Review 81:Nothing to dislike.

Review 82:Studio accommodation in lovely gardens. Excellent pool and Jacuzzi. Private and well run. Near to supermarkets and local shops.

Review 83:The room was not as advertised/shown on your website.we were given aroom around the back, not in the main section
