Reviews for Premier Inn Barrow In Furness

Review 1:The staff was very helpful and friendly, The breakfast was really good and the room was very spacious to fit all 5 of us including a travel cot. Very good price as well. Good location to go around the Lake District!

Review 2:Nothing to not like

Review 3:Great location. Clean warm and comfortable. Great price plenty parking. Good welcome and departure. It does exactly what they say it will

Review 4:No phone in the room in case you needed help urgently as a singly older female only down side.

Review 5:Really nervous about travelling alone but the staff were welcoming and helpful, was on upper floor and the room was clean ,bed very comfortable.Would recommend this Hotel highly.

Review 6:Staff made us feel welcome place is spotlessly clean on the whole lovely restaurant next door with lovely food glad we chose the premier inn as are place to stay in barrow in furness going back there soon

Review 7:The cost does seem a little excessive Width of the bath coupled with the safety handles (in the bath) meant that my bathing/showering experience was cramped. I am not of a large build !

Review 8:Very accomodating in terms of greeting, service and dealing with my specific dietary requirements (evg meal and breakfast)

Review 9:Just the short walk to the restaurant, my wife is disabled so not so good being outdoors

Review 10:So helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible under our circumstances, a family crisis

Review 11:We wish we had more time to stay, but we will be back and definitely stay at the Premier Inn.

Review 12:Staff were excellent and the arrangement with the restaurant next store was fantastic. We invited family to join us for dinner too. Extra large room, centrally located, plenty of parking. Next time we return to the UK we will book into other Premier Inn lodges.

Review 13:We have no complaints

Review 14:We enjoyed a very comfortable night and particularly enjoyed the comfort of the bed. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We were happy the we could get breakfast. We were glad of the Gideon Bible in the room.

Review 15:The bed was very high which for a back sufferer made it hard to get in and out. There were no armchairs so we had to sit on the bed to watch TV etc. On the first morning the staff in the restaurant were discussing social matters in front of customers.

Review 16:Good accessibility, very good soundproofing and good quality feel to the furnishings. All the staff, even the cleaning staff, were friendly and smiling. The restaurant was good value and plenty of choice.

Review 17:Some building work going on outside out room. High winds made plastic rattle during the night

Review 18:Very comfortable room. Brewers fair pub on side of hotel supplied excellent breakfast

Review 19:No face cloths in the bathroom!

Review 20:Especially liked it's proximity to the town centre and a nice walking trail. Also has a very nice restaurant right next door!

Review 21:A mini fridge (not a minibar, just a fridge) would be a nice plus.

Review 22:Once you are in the room you forget abiut what's out, no noises, no disturbance, you get an excellent sleep every night!

Review 23:The reviews said a 2 min walk to shops bars and restaurants this was not true ,and it was in the middle of an industrial estate

Review 24:Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Review 25:We came for a trip for a concert and found the woman on reception really nice and helpful, didn't catch her name (she had blonde hair and glasses) couldn't have done enough! Amazing asset to your company.

Review 26:Nothing!!!!!!!

Review 27:Absolutely every thing from arrival to leaving was first class. Breakfast was also first class with plenty of choice and piping hot. Well done Premier.

Review 28:Poor contact with the restaurant, could not book a table from the Hotel front of house.

Review 29:Peace and quite. Very near to the Town Centre. Well maintained and clean building, keep up the good work. Would recommend this Hotel.

Review 30:Nothing

Review 31:Comfortable beds, friendly staff many families stayed there but it was still quiet. The rooms were very good. Plenty parking spaces and food was very good at Brewers Fayre.

Review 32:The single/sofa bed was rather hard and uncomfortable .

Review 33:The comfortable king sized bed. The overall cleanliness of the room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Review 34:It was pouring with rain most of the time so walking to the brewers inn even though very close involved an umbrella. The two entrances could have involved less open area to walk across? .

Review 35:Its location is easy to find central and with plenty of parking and a friendly Brewers inn at its side

Review 36:As I had booked through booking.com I had been quoted the wrong price and the website had booked me a single room instead of a quadruple room! Luckily the staff were extremely helpful and there was a room available for my mum, two children and myself. If there hadnt been I dont know what I would of done. Next time I will book direct with premier inn to save the embarrassment and I never saved through using booking.com

Review 37:The TV and radio stations often lost signal in the room.

Review 38:The friendly staff that were professional and helpful even though we were only staying for one night.

Review 39:There was nothing I didn't like

Review 40:Very friendly staff Very helpful staff Welcoming atmosphere Great parking Immaculate facilities Relaxed atmosphere Good sized room / bathroom Excellent value for money

Review 41:They went above and beyond to help us during our family wedding stay, from giving us their fan, when a family member was suffering from the heat, and providing a plaster,so that the mother of the groom could walk, not hobble to the church.

Review 42:my young grandson who is 8 has watched the hotel being built, and asked if we could stay there when it was finished, so when my granddaughter went to france with the school he asked if we could have some nana and grandson time, we booked in for the night and also used the facilities of the brewers fayre, i can not fault our stay at all, the staff made my grandson feel very important and nothing was to much trouble. Emma from the brewers fayre made him feel so grown up calling him sir and looked after him well, so much so that he has asked if we could return soon. thank you from Gill and Aiden Akred.

Review 43:The area wasn't as nice as we had hoped. Although there was a nearby Tesco, there wasn't enough of a variety of places to eat. Which was a bit of a downer. Other than the area being grotty, everything was great.

Review 44:Loved staying at premier Inn. Staff were excellent! Room was great, no faults at all with where we stayed.

Review 45:Which is why we regularly use Premier Inns!

Review 46:The regular Premier Inn modern and clean accommodation. Interesting coastal walk from the Dock museum next door. Excellent breakfast at the Brewer's Fayre next door. Plenty of free parking, unlike the Keswick premier Inn. McDonalds and KFC nearby.

Review 47:The heat was appaling, it was so hot we couldn't stay in the room in the day nor sleep in at night. Came back home exhausted, really feel if there had been the extra two people in this room if one was a young child or an elderly person with a serious medical condition there could have been serious reprecussions, why do you have windows that do not open? It must have been 26 degrees in the room, it was hotter inside than outside in the bright sunshine, room 122 is just incredibly hot.

Review 48:very little

Review 49:I didn't like the bed as it was too low but it was a disabled room i booked and I didn't know that i could have had the bed raised but will know in future. Also i wasn't pleased by having a family with a small child above me and it never stopped running across the room above my head while i was in. I think more care needs to be taken when booking and try and put all families with children on the bottom. If there are lifts in the premises disabled people can go into an upper floor but you can't stop children running around.

Review 104:Friendly & helpful Staff Location Ideal Brewers Fayre attached had great food and welcoming staff

Review 105:The staff were excellent. On arrival, on the morning of our first stay the early shift could not have been more welcoming, pleasant and helpful. As we were a little early, a special effort was made to arranging for our room to be prepared for us, as a priority. The room was fresh and very clean. The staff continued to be willing to help even when we encountered an inconsiderate guest on the floor above us. Whilst we can certainly praise all the staff, there was one lady who was especially helpful and attentive, this was the lady working the early shift during our stay. A big thank you to all your staff.
