Reviews for Residence Agathea

Review 1:hotel was very basic, like living in an old building, but it was confortable enough for a two night stay. there was no bed sheets or blankets.

Review 2:if you want to be close to cap dag'd center then its a good location. but its far from the nudist village.shower was ok ,hot water always.

Review 3:would be good if no need to clean the place yourself before leaving

Review 4:Good location - walking distance to all key attractions, restaurants, shops.. Recommend to have bikes to go to the beach though.

Review 5:Linen was not provided unless paid for. WiFi was available at a cost butdid not work even when paid for. The kitchen area was inadequate nonormal breakfast cups provided only small coffee ones. The furniture wasvery basic and we felt the apartment was overpriced for what we got. Carparking charges at 6 euros was a bit steep.

Review 6:The heated pool and the location of the apartments.

Review 7:Misleading description on Michellin site. It's an apartment withnothing for the traveler included. No,toilet paper, nosoap,,no,towels. Do not stay here unless you are moving in. Staff wasrude and not helpful.

Review 8:Near tourist area along marina

Review 9:WiFi was dear and slow, also the restive hours of reception is annoying.

Review 10:Great hotel with excellent views and close to restaurants. Have to take the bus if you want to go to the nudist beach as its too far to walk. Only cost 1 euro though. Great place to visit.

Review 11:Extra charges for many things others provide for free - E.G., cleaning,WiFi, bed linen. No bath plug!!! A bit of a walk to Naturists Centre.

Review 12:Easy access 24/7. Staff helpful. Nice balcony view of pool.

Review 13:The reception has very limited opening times and the bar is not open. The rooms are old and tired but for he's we paid and its position we can't complain

Review 14:The position of the hotel and that we were able to get private parking.

Review 15:The building is not secure: doors to car parks and the front and back of the complex were always open or unlocked; the patio doors to the balcony of the studio did not lock so, in theory, could be opened from outside (we were on the 2nd floor and had our dog with us, so didn't worry too much about that) The safe did not work and as reception hours were limited and the man on reception wasn't very friendly at all, we did not bring this up with them and kept our valuables with us. The studio was not very clean and the décor very dated: halls of residence circa 1990... I guess you get what you pay for but I wouldn't be very comfortable to stay in the height of the summer season, when I would imagine there could be a higher risk of crime

Review 16:The location; the price; the real beds; they accept dogs; facilities OK for a four day break; immediate return of deposit; public car park opposite the complex was free of charge in September

Review 17:Hotel reception was dirty Room was filthy Beds were old and stained and worn Bathroom was unclean No shower head Clearly the room had been cleaned with dirty cloths and mops No lock on the patio doors When we complained, we was told to use the Broom stick to jam the door closed!! All surfaces were sticky and grimy No where near the description displayed on the website Reception only open 4 hrs a day Finally old condoms on the terraces out the front Overall very dirty, unclean, tacky

Review 18:About the noise: I heard lots of bad things before coming but it actually really depends on your neighbors. Sometimes we hear nothing for a week (even though there are people next door), and then you could participate to the other family's life. There were a few ants in our room, but nothing too bad. A bigger issue were the two twin beds instead of a double one, but we pushed them together and it was fine.

Review 19:The location is pretty much perfect as it is right in the center of all activities, yet in overlooking the quiet harbour. The only free and huge parking in the area is ideally located a few meters away. There's always free space, but do be careful to remove your car on Saturdays (market day) or it will get removed for you :( The residence itself is nice, two pools with lots of sunbeds. You can buy fresh bread, croissants and other first necessity products directly on site, which is helpful. Rooms are spacious enough, nothing special but does the job just fine. Also worth mentionning: Big balcony with table and chairs to enjoy a sunny breakfast or late drink :)

Review 20:Apartment was for budget family, with low cost bed and bunk beds for kids. 1970's fitments. Paying a deposit in case the place was damaged set the scene. Don't forget to take your own linen or pay the extra. Water was 'free'

Review 21:The pools were good with many loungers. We liked leaving.

Review 22:Weak and unstable wifi signal and you pay extra for it. Pool closure at 7pm, a bit too early. Check out time at 10am midweek and 9.30 weekends isn't ideal. Not sure where we would have put the third person in our '3 bed' appartment had we needed it.

Review 23:Value for money and polite staff, very clean pool and everything worked

Review 60:The too high prices for drinks, Far too high! The parking in the village of Cap is also too expensive. It is almost impossible to find a parking place. Sometimes to much noise in the appartment, until 5, 6 houres in the morning!

Review 61:The sun The environment, The frendly people, The food, The shops, The little train, The beach

Review 62:the man cutting the hedge early in the morning was very annoying !!

Review 63:nice basic accommodation with ait con , was all we wanted with no issues everything was good , pools were very good ,

Review 64:non english speaking receptionist, not well communicated extra costs (linen, and so on)

Review 65:good swimming pool, position, average build quality and comfort

Review 66:Reception only open morning and evening so cannot check in until 17.00 and check out by 09.00. Because of this I booked a day either side of the days I required so I could get in early and leave late. This of course does not make what is bargain accommodation so much of a bargain. Plus you have to hire bedding and towels.
