Reviews for Dromard House

Review 1:Nothing at all to complain about. We will stay there again for sure

Review 2:Standard of room. Comfort of the bed and the level of heating The breakfast was really great,in fact we are telling our friends all about it!

Review 3:Lovely place Sharon very kind and caring lady going that extra mile with nothing a problem. Typical example Sharon noted I had a fairly bad cold and brought me a hot lem sip and a pack of soother sweets for the day ahead. 100% my greatest recommendation to add to what I read before booking. Its also so handy to Enniskillen and surrounding attractions.

Review 4:Nothing was lovely big place but was lovely and warm great location for us.

Review 5:Was handy for are job but the lady who runs the place couldn't of done anymore and was done with kindness and smile

Review 6:I loved everything about my stay at Dromard House!

Review 7:Beautiful location, secluded but still close enough to town. The trail leading to the lough was an added bonus. The fact that the accomodation had its own private entrance was great, as you can come and go as you please without interrupting anyone. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. There was a great selection of continental and cooked breakfast. If I was in this area again, I would definately stay at Dromard House.

Review 8:Sharon was lovely and very helpful. The location was peaceful and had beautiful scenery. This was the best accommodation out of my two months of traveling around Europe. I will be back!

Review 9:Walking to Enniskillen along road was not good as road is busy & no walking paths.

Review 10:Landlady, Sharon was very friendly & helpful . Breakfast was very good.

Review 11:I like old houses to stay in. The rooms here are converted stables. Not quite the same. I do not like to hear others in the room next door. The elderly couple next door to me were quiet, but I was glad I was alone, for their sake. I do not agree with charging extra for breakfast.

Review 12:The laneway from the house to the lake below. The room was nicely decorated, warm and clean. The owner was relaxed and friendly.

Review 13:Bathroom functional which isn't a problem as it has all you need, is light and clean. Only strange thing was the loo was missing a lid. The seat was intact, but only noticed afterwards as my wife mentioned it.

Review 14:Dromard House was simply one of the best places we have stayed not just in Ireland, but anywhere, ever. Friendly welcome, great facilities, including a marked walk down to the lough, comfy bed, large bathroom, great strong wifi, lovely residents' lounge. Breakfast was wonderful and being only just outside Eniskillen, you are not far from civilisation if that is what you want. Personally, the beautiful views from the front of this property are more than enough for me.

Review 15:We loved the self catering facilities, maybe the fridge/freezer could be updated.

Review 16:Owner friendly and very hospitable. Relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Great place to get away from it all.

Review 17:We loved the peace of the place Sharon is a great hostess and her farm is beautiful She has the friendliest dog in the world, Lucy, she is such a darling and a great guide and companion. The Apartment was lovely I didn't think staying at Dromard could get any better but the Apartment was just perfect. Peace, views, the lakes, Fermanagh A little bit of Heaven.

Review 18:Beautiful country home,Sharon was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, she even gave me a ankle support as I had a bad fall earlier in the day. Bed linen was so crisp and fresh best nights sleep was had.

Review 19:Couldn't get wifi up in our apartment.

Review 20:Space and privacy, kitchen and comfortable bed. Loved walking through the pasture, on the path to lake. Food was good, beautiful setting.

Review 21:Wifi was not as strong as I expected but not a big issue. Would recommend to a friend for sure.

Review 22:Great homely atmosphere, friendly people including their pets, brilliant view, everythings provided.

Review 23:The only negative aspect was minor: the walls between rooms seemed to let more noise through than I would have liked. We could hear people talking in the room beside us.

Review 24:The grounds and surrounding location are beautiful, and it was exactly what my girlfriend and I wanted for a short break. The staff were very welcoming and professional, the bed was very comfortable and the Wifi was fast. It all felt refreshingly authentic; I would much rather stay in a country farmhouse offering idyllic scenery and a home-cooked breakfast than an impersonal, ostentatious hotel.

Review 25:It was all lovely, I couldn't fault Dromard house at all. This place might not be suited to people without a car, its 2miles outside of Enniskillen, but this wasnt a problem for us.

Review 26:This b&b is fabulous! Sharon the owner is so friendly and welcoming, our room was so warm and cosy, the decor and cleanliness is far above the standard I expected for the bargain price. Plenty of parking for cars- free top speed wifi, we even had a tea tray with bottles of water and yummy biscuits. The house has a lovely walk through the country at the back (I didnt get to see though as was only here for one night passing through). We didnt have breakfast so I cant comment on it- but it did smell gorgeous. Great stay, total bargain, will be back.

Review 27:Sadly you could hear the bathroom fans and showers of early risers in the next room.

Review 28:Peace and quiet of the setting and the lovely wooded walk. The breakfast was delicious, better than some hotels I've stayed in around Enniskillen.

Review 29:No guest lounge, living room or so. Only place to be is your room. Walls between the bedrooms are very thin, you hear your neighbours' talking as if you were in their room.

Review 30:Everything else.

Review 31:Couldn't get wi fi to work slow connection / No connection

Review 32:Sharon a great host lovely clean comfortable warm rooms great breakfast friendly and accommodating but not in your face love this place will definitely be back

Review 33:The self contained flat has everything you need for a relaxing break ie washing and cooking facilities TV and Internet.Sharon is very friendly and helpful without being interfering.

Review 34:I have stayed with Sharon several times. She is an excellent hostess, nothing is to much trouble. All the facilities are excellent, very comfy beds and lovely decor

Review 35:Really lovely secluded House. Sharon, the Landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A superb breakfast. Overall...... wonderful..... we will return!

Review 36:Very clean room, landlady is super friendly! Facilities in room are good. Walk around the wooded area to the lake is lovely, and it's 5 mins drive from town. Quiet and secluded while being so close to everything.

Review 37:Comfortable bed, warm, tv, wifi, shower hot, kettle, choice of pillows (I'm fussy) and lovely setting with great breakfast. Drove 2 miles to town to get a meal - easy to get there as no traffic at night. Weather meant I did not walk to lake at back, maybe next time.

Review 38:My husband absolutely loved the owner. She was so polite kind and helpful. Our room was so warm and cozy and the decor was so beautiful. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Both my husband and I are vegeterian and the lady provided even veggie sausages for us. Do you know how hard that is? We stayed in a five star hotel for our honeymoon in August and they had no vegeterian option for us. We loved dromard house and we would go back again.

Review 39:Care taken to remember names. Good food. Well prepared information document. Surroundings, convenience to town centre. Separate unrestricted entrance. Well prepared breakfast room and food.

Review 40:The hospitality in Dromard is fantastic. Genuine care and welcome into someone's home is the immediate vibe. Very comfortable room. The breakfast is magnificent, location superb, such a good deal. I would definitely return and will certainly recommend it other travellers.

Review 41:The only bad thing I have to say about our stay was the bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were very big and very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Review 42:Great value for money. Stayed in the apartment. Loads of room and very homely. Only met with one lady working there and she was extremely friendly!

Review 43:Wasn't a bugbear at all for us but the guest accomodation is in an annexe to the main house - had to go outside and back into main house for that delicious breakfast.

Review 44:The lady of the house, Sharon, is very friendly and helpful. The house is set in beautiful surroundings, away from main road, so very quiet but close enough to Enniskillen. Sumptuous breakfasts!

Review 45:Everything was excellent.

Review 46:The accomodation and location is excellent with its own woodland walk in a working farm and access to a lake. It is about two miles from Enniskillen so withing walking distance. Sharon is an excellent and very attentive hostess and provides an excellent breakfast.

Review 47:Very friendly, welcoming land lady, The house is on a beautiful farm surrounded by mature trees and grounds and yet only a short commute to Enniskillen town. The room has all you could need and is spotlessly clean.

Review 48:You need to drive for food/restaurants but Eniskillen is only 10 mins by car and we found some good restaurants.

Review 49:Sharon was very friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The scenery was wonderful.

Review 50:This is a little gem of B&B, conveniently located, yet in a quiet location. Very clean, gorgeous breakfast, comfortable bed, and very welcoming host. I would definitely go back.

Review 51:Beautiful setting, location just on the outskirts of Town. The owner Sharon was very helpful and the breakfast was deicious. Would definetly recommend a stay.

Review 52:Lovely location.Clive and Sharon were very accommodating in facilitating our late arrival after a wedding.very comfortable and well equipped apartment.

Review 53:The walls are paper thin, so you will hear your neighbor moving about their room.

Review 54:Sharon was very welcoming. It was a nice change staying in the beautiful countryside. We only stayed for one evening. The room was very small, but cozy. The breaksfast was fantastic and coffee was actually brewed from a coffee pot. It was great to have a real cup of coffee after a week without one.

Review 55:Bit difficult to pick a fault this home is the best.

Review 56:Wonderful home, warm welcome and Lucy was the best dog to escort you on your walks. Breakfast was an absolute delight and we would recommend this B&B to anyone. Sharon you are a wonderful host and you should be congratulated.

Review 57:the paper bath mat.

Review 58:The innkeeper was wonderful and made us feel like a special guest in her home. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with farm fresh eggs and homemade preserves. Can not recommend highly enough - would definitely stay here again.

Review 59:The walls were really thin and we could hear everything the people in the room next to us were saying. They stayed up to 2am talking really loudly with music going. Makes it impossible to sleep until the people in the rooms beside you have gone to sleep too. The main communal rooms sleep quite musty.

Review 60:The house is nice and the staff are really friendly. The location is pretty but it is out of the town. Some people were catching a cab just to get out here. I think it is more ideal for people who have their own car as it is a bit of a way from the town.

Review 61:Thin walls and rude guests in the adjoining rooms causing disruption till all hours

Review 62:The facilities were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Ruth was charming and very helpful in recommending local attractions.

Review 63:I am dairy free and made mention of this in my booking. The owner went out of her way to provide soy milk, soy yogurt and non-dairy butter spread for my breakfast. And the breakfast itself was delicious! If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely book in again!

Review 64:Nothing to dislike.

Review 65:Homely atmosphere in a beautiful setting.Friendly, courteous & helpful staff.Lovely cooked breakfast, you can't beat a free range egg! "Lucy" the dog will take the lead and give you a guided tour around the peaceful pathways.Loved it.

Review 68:We were looking for a good location, Dromard house was perfect, we loved Enniskillen, and the walk down to the lake was lovely and peacefull, Sharon was very attentive and breakfast was very good, first time in Eniskillen hope to go back sometime.

Review 69:An extra couple of pillows in the wardrobe would be useful but this was just a little thing and didn't bother us much during our stay.

Review 70:Loved the location.Friendly and helpful staff, especially Sharon who went out of her way to help us when one of the children had toothache. The breakfasts really set you up for the day! Rooms very clean. Thanks

Review 71:Perfect location and great view from front of house. On arrival I received such a warm welcome and immediately felt at home! Lovely comfortable room and great breakfast next morning. I intend a return visit in the near future!

Review 72:Nothing. I honestly cannot fault the place.

Review 73:Pretty much everything! The front service was great, very polite and friendly. Sharon told us places to go and eat in Enniskillen, even though all of this info was in a welcome folder in the room. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was unbelievable!! Good selection of cereals and hot foods and it was gorgeous! I had the fry while the other half had poached eggs. Not greasy and very enjoyable.

Review 74:Felt that it was a tiny bit towards the expensive end for a B & B.

Review 75:Room was good, with very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast, including home made bread and preserves. Walk down to the lough and the time spent watching the water fowl was very peaceful.

Review 76:Very welcoming and friendly. Will stay at Dromard House again.
