Review 1：No staff on 2 days with the necessity to use a code to open the (very heavy) front door was slightly worrying.
Review 2：The general look of the building and the furnishing.
Review 3：Restoration okay, but preferred the faded grandeur it used to have. No provision for guests to eat in the restaurant, you have to book in advance. Breakfast was dreadful.

Review 9：This hotel has character, in a classic French style. The room was comfortable, quiet, well-appointed and clean. We had breakfast one day and the selection was huge. Car parking was not an issue as there is copious amounts of free public parking a short walk from the hotel. With the pleasant and helpful staff I would have no issue in recommending this hotel a short stroll from the bar and restaurant lined central square of Limoux.

Review 33：When we arrived the receptionist shuffled bits of paper for about a minute before raising her head to deal with us, took some delight in advising that there was no lift, and did not offer to get someone to carry our bags to the second floor bedroom. Next morning when we came down for breakfast she was too busy shuffling bits of paper again to say "good morning", but was very attentive when we arrived to pay our bill. I have never been to a hotel or B&B where there was not an offer to carry baggage to the room - what a dreadful first impression
