Review 24:Beautiful hotel with kind hospital hosts. Very helpful with food allergy requests. View from room is stunning. Good location for visiting St Paul de Vence and local beaches.

Review 25:Small things, i did not like mosquito visiting my room when sleeping, but it's so nice to open window in such a beautiful autum night

Review 26:Location is perfect, mountain view and convenient to drive to nearby places; hotel host is patient and helpful, even gave tolerance to my big mistake of alarming in early morning, i do want to give a big apologize again to H Marc Hely.

Review 27:Large bed in a very comfortable, clean room with great view, copious breakfast, charming and friendly hosts - a place to stay and certainly come back!

Review 29:This was our second visit to this charming small hotel. The owners are lovely friendly people. The upstairs balcony rooms over look the beautiful hill town of Saint Paul De Vence. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast out on the terrace was ample. The lovely small pool is nice place to cool off after a day of touring the countryside.

Review 30:The beds are a bit hard, but everything else is brilliant, so it does not matter too much.

Review 31:The Marc-Hely owners really understand what their guests needs are. They make you feel very welcome and it is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at! Amazing views, quiet location, good breakfast and nice pool area.

Review 32:We were really impressed with the comfort and luxury of this hotel. The hosts were exceptionally lovely and welcoming from the start. The pool was very clean and well maintained. We were provided with plates and cutlery because we wanted to eat a meal with our own food on our balcony in the evenings and they were really accommodating with this, I highly recommend tho hotel.

Review 33:There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. If you have a hirecar you will be fine as a taxi to Nice costs 70 Euros.

Review 34:The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and the owners could not doenough to help us. Free Wifi. Brilliant breakfasts. Fantastic views ofthe area and St Paul de Vence. The bedroom super clean, looked brand new. Free safe which was good. Bed very comfortable and the room was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Love this hotel, it's like a boutique hotel! About 4 stars in England. Xx

Review 35:Our stay in this hotel was just perfect! Quiet, very friendly, helpful owners, good position to visit Nice, Monaco and Cannes, view at St. Paul, clean, nice beds and bathroom. conclusion: The atmosphere there is great!

Review 36:we did not know that the breakfast was not included in the price, so when we had to pay this was a disappointement, but this was the only one from our stay

Review 37:Very nice host, fantastic breakfast

Review 38:Nothing!!

Review 39:The owners, Crystal and Adrian, were amazingly helpful and charming. The location of the Marc-Healy, so close to St. Paul de Vence, made heading out to dinner a true pleasure!! Crystal also suggested a restaurant within a few minutes walking distance that was excellent. Getting to and from Nice and further east to Eze and Monaco is a must. We loved the hilltop villages just as much, and went as far as Gourdon for the spectacular views!! Crystal's breakfast was by far the best we had in our 9 weeks of traveling the Med!! They have a delightful pool area and the small balconies look out onto St. Paul. The rooms are spacious (for France!!) and immaculate. Great Wi-Fi.

Review 40:This hotel is located in a quite area near the French Rivera only 6 miles from the Nice airport. The beds are some of the best in France. We had a beautiful view of St Paul du Vence. The owner is helpful and gave us maps of the area. Stay here they even have a swimming pool which we did not have enough time to use.

Review 41:No fridge in the room.

Review 42:Our stay at this Hotel was very enjoyable! We had a very spacious room and bathroom with lovely view looking out over the pool to the mountains. Great location close to central town. Staff friendly. Pool was fantastic! Would stay here again!

Review 43:Charming host, fantastic views and excellent breakfast.

Review 44:The room is spacious and very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The lady is very welcoming and helpful, would love to spend a month there!!

Review 45:lovely room with great view. very pleasant and helpful service. delicious breakfast.

Review 46:Friendly and helpful

Review 47:Beautiful hotel, owner very nice and helpful.

Review 49:Very nice staff, great view, very clean, nice pool

Review 50:Nothing to fault!

Review 51:Excellent location, very clean, good reception, excellent breakfast, room deciration brand new

Review 55:Nothing at all

Review 56:Stunning view to St Paul-de-Vance and hospitality provided

Review 57:Furnishings, attention to detail.

Review 58:Not in a village, just on a main road without any footpaths

Review 59:Comfy bed & excellent staff

Review 60:Nope.

Review 61:Everything and the view at the room is magmificient!!! And the owner kindly helped me fix my flight problem, thanks again Adrian!!!

Review 62:Nothing really, only one thing - breakfast a bit expensive

Review 63:Everything

Review 64:Location, peace, hospitality, cleanliness

Review 65:all

Review 66:Wifi was rather slow.

Review 67:Lovely staff, great breakfast, excellent recommendation for Les Tilleuls restaurant in Saint Paul de Vence for dinner.

Review 68:Lovely views over St. Paul en vance, abundant breakfast, clean and well furnished modern rooms

Review 69:Very kind, cheerful and helpful hostess, who made our stay most likeful. Splended location and easy access to the airport, Nice itself, Antibes etc. View to St. Paul village and valley was splended. Wonderful bed and pillows, made sleep taste well.

Review 70:They offer breakfast but no restaurant at hotel.

Review 71:Cute hotel in a romantic location outside the hustle and bustle of the Cote de azur; very friendly staff and clean rooms; great view of St. Paul de Venice as well

Review 72:Only BBC World on TV in English language, but hey, you're not staying there to watch TV !

Review 73:Truly a little gem of a small hotel, quiet location with great views from the balcony of our clean / air conditioned room, a nice small pool, excellent b'fast, free parking at the door and the most helpful of owners. Great access for Nice and Cote d'Azzure or the mountain villages off the coast.

Review 74:Breakfast should be improved to include more savory, less packaged staff and more variety Internet was not always reliable

Review 75:Spacious rooms Nice and quiet pool Nice view in St.Paul medieval town

Review 76:The atmosphere there has been great! The hosts` attention to details is great! They were also very kind with their guests. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Provence! The view from the balcony over the valey is wonderful!

Review 77:Nothing to dislike.

Review 78:This was even better than excellent, the best place I stayed in Cote d'Azur/Provence area. Absolutely wonderful: nice terrace, great pool, super nice owners, extra comfy beds, great bathroom, quiet rooms, everything just the very best. Love this place, so worth it.

Review 79:A lovely small b&b hotel run by a delightful couple who clearly work extremely hard to deliver a top class service to their guests. I would commend everything from the room, the location, the breakfast and especially the professionalism and friendliness of our hosts. We run an accommodation business ourselves and I would highly praise their approach, we had such a nice stay.

Review 80:This was not a cheap hotel but cheeseparing attitude about the small things. Small amount of herb tea and coffee provided but no milk or teaspoon. For this money would have expected at least a free bottle of water on arrival/ bowl of fruit. No shoe cleaning materials. Limited toiletries. Staff not particularly knowledgeable about what was on locally etc. Ridiculous price for breakfast.

Review 81:comfortable room with a good view. NIce swimming pool.

Review 82:Nothing. We wish we stayed longer.

Review 83:Excellent combination of a pleasant rustic environment and very good comfort based on high quality technology and materials (TV, wifi, air conditioning, cameras, modern showers, quality bedding). Nice view of Saint Paul de Vence from the balcony, superbly functional bathrooms, a pleasant garden, and a very cosy outdoor pool. The owners, Adrian and Chrystelle, are very professional, helpful, and hard working. Their 10-room hotel is just wonderful.

Review 84:Trying to find food on a Monday night when everything is closed.

Review 85:Lovely view across the valley to St Paul de Vence. Good size rooms. Young couple doing a good job of running the motel-style hotel.

Review 86:The location of the hotel was very central to Valbonne and Saint Paul de Vence. Wonderful unobstructed view to Saint Paul from the room overlooking a nice garden. Staff was very frindly and service-minded. Everything also clean and well maintained.

Review 87:An earlier breakfast would have been appreciated - we had to leave before 0800 to get a flight and so couldn't have breakfast.

Review 88:The position opposite St Paul with a beautiful view from the balcony, the spacious and very comfortable room, and the welcome by the owner.

Review 89:For the price of 140 euro a night, I would expect that the breakfast will be included in the total charge. The couple who runs the place are very nice, but they are not "experts" of the area, so you can't rely on their recommendations.

Review 90:Comfortable room, very nice bathroom, everything was very clean. The location is convenient and the view is beautiful.

Review 91:This was a delightful hotel. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was lovely. I was traveling with a friend, but it would also lend itself to a romantic get away for couples.

Review 92:Lack of a bathtub in our room (though in sometooms they have). For thisprice it is something you would expect.

Review 93:Great hotel, nice view, great location. Some guest were unpleased with ahigh price on a breakfast, I would say that it is worth 12 eur perperson, as it is quite big and quality. Moreover you can have it on abalcony of your room with St Paul de Vence view.

Review 94:Everything was very good exept of very hot blankets (we were in april and it wasn't cold but they still have winter blankets)

Review 95:Very good location. Lovely and romantic place with wonderfull view. Very quite and good sleep. Free parking.

Review 96:We stayed here to be close to St Paul de Vence. It was a great choice, easy parking on site, nice room with good facilities and WIFI that worked. We'd stay again.

Review 97:Very comfortable, accommodating owners, and so clean. I was excited to have a comfortable king size bed with cozy bedding. The view from the room was beautiful, the balcony lovely, the bathroom spacious, clean. A very relaxing environment, quiet. The owner was so gracious and lovey. We had an excellent breakfast in the morning. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Review 98:Christina was very helpful, friendly and spoke English. It is a beautiful location with convenient parking. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Beautiful gardens and pool. Lovely breakfast. We loved everything about it!

Review 99:Nothing at all to dislike.

Review 100:Very welcoming patron. Nice bedroom with balcony looking across the valley to St Paul de Provence. The hotel is well situated for easy access to Nice airport but is set in a quiet garden not far from Colle de Loup and other lovely villages. We only spent a night at the hotel for early morning flight but will return for a longer stay.

Review 101:Hotel was advertised as being air conditioned which is one of the features that prompted us to stay there. When we arrived it was 28c and humid and the air condtioner was not functioning. When we approach the owner his response was that the a.c. was shutdown for the season and couldn't be turned on. This would have been acceptable had the balcony doors had a screen on it to allow air in without being invested with flies and other flying bugs but it did not. If you advertise a service such a.c. then it needs to be available or indicated at time of rental that it would beoff. There was no apparent reason for it to be off other than the owner was trying to reduce his costs.

Review 102:Close proximity to to sites such as St.Paul deVence,Nice,Biot,Grasse . Hotel was well maintained. Views from room towards St.Paul very nice

Review 103:Location, view and owners. The view from our room was exactly as pictured on Booking.com. The location, La Colle-sur-Loup, is convenient for visiting Riviera beaches and towns in the hills above by car. There are several good restaurants near by and the owners are warm, friendly and helpful. This is a small hotel and if you are looking for four-star amenities, not for you.

Review 104:Hotel owner and staff very helpful. Room very clean with a little balcony, very nice. Non-smoking. Beautiful, large bathroom and separate WC. Very convenient from Nice airport, maybe 25 minutes, but in the foothills, so quite lovely

Review 105:We liked it all.

Review 106:We liked the warm reception and service from the lady in charge - this added to our holiday, and looking back, we wished we had booked for longer. The view from our room, and from the dining room was great, but with the weather that we enjoyed, we preferred to breakfast on the terrace. We used the nearby bus service to travel to the resorts, to avoid traffic and parking problems, which was very handy.

Review 107:Nothing really but breakfast is expensive. In reality you do not want to eat it all as for us, cheese is for later in the day, but you have to remember one of the owners is Dutch and so normal for him and many of the guests. Something cooked for us would make it worth the 10 euros so we only had it before our walk to St Paul and on our last day. We found a lovely bar in Cagnes on the beach where 2 coffees and half a baguette each with butter and jam was only 6 euros, though I suspect the excellent Cafe de la Marche in St Paul would charge a similar price.

Review 108:Having read all the reviews I can confirm this is a very friendly and comfortable but small hotel. The owners speak good English. The beds were hard but for us very good and the room was spacious with all facilities you would require, larger tea mugs would be a plus. We did not use the pool as the sea was so nice but as a plunge pool looked inviting. Breakfast was good and reasonable value if you ate all of it! I cannot understand the comments about a car being essential surely people choosing a hotel in the country would all have rented one, but if they couldn't drive or hadn't rented then why stay in the country surely the towns along the coast would have been better. That said it is possible but without children preferably to walk to the village along the road with care as there only a couple of narrow parts where you have to wait for cars to pass, time to pedestrian street around 20 minutes, but only10 to supermarket and pavements. There are good and cheap bus services to St Paul and Nice during the day until 8pm, ask the owners for information if you are unsure of ticketing, times etc. The website is confusing in that it takes 5 minutes (by car) to St Paul, we walked it in about 45 minutes, so allow 3 hours for a visit there and back on foot though you can get the bus during the day.

Review 109:The location is ideal because it is near Nice airport. The description and photos online are a true reflection. The staff are friendly, the hotel is spotless and wifi is easily available. The hotel is in quiet surroundings and the swimming pool is lovely. We had a short stay here and found the lovely owner very helpful.

Review 110:We were there for my friends wedding, we new we had to drive so main thing for us was an easy access to all different towns villages and cities! Cleanliness of the room was very important and we got it! Room was very clean and specious. I loved that the bathroom was good size and shower was great so I really enjoyed getting ready for my friends wedding! We had breakfast on the last morning and it was lovely with beautiful view overlooking St. Paul de Vence. We'll recommend this hotel and if we will be back to that part of France we would confident staying there again! Good luck to lovely couple who run the hotel, they were nice and friendly
