Reviews for Willowbank House
Review 1:Extremely friendly, excellent breakfast and could not have been more helpful. Really want to stay there again.Would thoroughly recommend. Many thanks to Joan and Tom.
Review 2:This is a lovely B&B with gracious, caring hosts. The house and its gardens are immaculate. The breakfast was above and beyond. We will definitely recommend it to friends, and will return one day.
Review 3:The road into the property was long and windy but well worth the drive. The owners were very open and welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. The food was excellent. The view was spectacular. The B & B was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this B & B
Review 4:Beautiful immaculate accommodation with superb breakfast. Warm welcome from Joan and Tom. Fabulous setting overlooking Fermanagh lakes. Delighted to have found this wonderful B & B and will definitely be back!
Review 5:Nothing!
Review 6:This was our first visit to a B&B for several years. It was a wake-up call that B&Bs can be excellent! The house itself is down a winding country lane not far from central Enniskillen off the Belfast road. It is clearly signposted and there are several welcome 'reminder' signs along the way because the sinuous nature of the road can make 2 miles feel far further than it really is!Our welcome was genuine and warm. Joan explained how the B&B worked - choosing one's breakfast the night before, where the lounge and dining room were, and which key fitted which lock. We immediately felt at home and were delighted with the cleanliness and comfort of our ensuite room, plus the tea, coffee and biscuits! The water was beautifully hot during our stay and the shower had great water pressure, which can be a problem in a house where the hot water system is shared between many users ... though not here! Particularly welcome was a little glass pot containing all the little essentials you might forget to pack and need urgently ... cotton wool, cotton buds, sewing kit, shower cap, plasters, aspirin etc. That shows not only attention to detail but a real understanding of what a guest might need in a hurry but not necessarily want to bother a host for. We couldn't have found kinder and more attentive hosts than Joan and her husband Tom, both of whom make you feel really welcome. The house is set in a large, beautiful garden, with a two person swing, a summer house, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the stunning views. The colour and quality of the lawn was in sharp contrast to our own brown stubble after an overly-hot summer. After a great night's sleep, in a comfy bed and absolute quiet both from inside and outside the hotel, we went to breakfast. Or more like a break-FEAST! The choice is generous, the jams and fruit compotes are home made, the breads varied and oh! the cooked items!!
Review 7:That we only had 1 night here.
Review 8:This is a gem. Gorgeous location overlooking a lake and fields. The house is perfectly landscaped and decorated. They have thought of every thing and then some. Friendly hosts obviously love what they are doing. No faults at all. You'll be happy if you book here.

Review 12:It's a narrow road to get there, but it's very well signposted. It's in a beautiful location, wonderful views and incredibly clean air. Tom and Joan were really lovely people who made us feel so welcome. The bed was really comfy, the room was very spacious and the shower was wonderful. The house itself is very beautiful, and felt like coming home even though we were only there for one night!

Review 18:The address did not fit with our satvav. However we spotted a large sign on the road and found the property without a problem, but this could be an issue for others.
Review 19:We spent two nights at Willowbank and I can only say that it far exceeded expectations. We had a lovely spacious room with equally spacious bathroom. Breakfast was way above average, prepared with a lot of attention that is often missing in B&Bs. The location is great and so tranquil. Thanks to Joan and Tom for a lovely few days.
Review 20:Felt I wasn't told the true distance from venue to this b&b . So I paid £75 for nothing it was easier for us to drive home than trying to find this guest house .

Review 27:A very warm welcome and fantastic breakfast. Clean room. Would recommend for people who want to stay in and relax.
Review 28:Payment by card is only available for a 3% extra fee. Although they have a big garden, we were asked to go on the road to smoke. All sorts of signs with things that you are not allowed to do Most of the guests were in their 60s-70s.

Review 70:This was a most restful and beautiful location. But it is not currently that easy to find and is about 3 k from the turnoff. Once there it is tranquil and beautiful and the hospitality is excellent.
Review 71:A bit far outside of city. It would have been scary driving the mostly one land paved road to the propert st night. There was a dead deer along the road as we drove out at the end of our stay.

Review 75:My wife and I loved everything about Willowbank House. Cleanliness was 'out of this world', there was a wide selection of locally produced items on the breakfast menu, the quality of a cooked breakfast was superb, the country roadway adjacent to Willowbank House was traffic free, luxurious thick fleecy towels were provided in the bath/shower room, the hospitality tray was very inviting after long walks nearby and the attention, advice and assistance given to us by the proprietors Joan and Tom was second to none. This was a very enjoyable, quiet and relaxing break. We look forward to returning to Willowbank House for a longer stay in 2014.
