Reviews for Le Parc Des Fees

Review 1:Very tired hotel Not sure when the internal photos were taken, but I honestly didn't recognise it Shower tray didn't have a lip so having a shower flooded the bathroom Not even a bar of soap in the bathroom

Review 2:Location - great base from which to explore the region

Review 3:The room for 4 people is too small and breakfast too expensive For its simplicity.

Review 4:This nice Hotel is very well located 100m from the cassino and 5 min on foot to commerce. Staff very friendly and good restaurant.

Review 5:ordered a glass of wine with my meal and it never arrived but was on my bill.

Review 6:The situation was great. The lady at the desk was apologetic when I told her i hadn't received my wine anf took it off my bill.

Review 7:The rooms were pretty drab. The bathroom drains smelled like mildew and the showers were quite small. The hallways have a faint smoke smell. The front office staff let us know right as we checked in that, as we were coming for a wedding and seeing that we are young - in our 20s - we should take extra care not to make noise coming back at night. While I understand that this must be a problem for the hotel, as a responsible adult, I don't appreciate being yelled at before I've done anything wrong... She did thank me the next morning for not making noise, though... Oh well, what do you expect in Auvergne?

Review 8:Really well-situated! Beautiful stream in front of the hotel. Calm and charming building.

Review 22:location

Review 23:bathroom uneasy to use

Review 24:the warmth of welcome, the central location, the retro atmosphere, the silence

Review 25:We enjoyed comfort rooms with views over the river. The beds were huge. The room well appointed and set in a stunning area

Review 26:rooms a little cramped, a bit dated

Review 27:easy to find location in town, near restaurants and attractions. Staff friendly and attentive

Review 28:The flippant attitude of the male receptionist who was unhelpful. The old fashioned decor in the public rooms. The one hour wait for the first course to arrive in the dining room. The substandard quality of the food. inadequate parking necessitating on street parking.

Review 29:We found the location in the Auvergne area ideal

Review 30:Smell of cigarette smoke in reception. Having to re-log on to WiFi every time device went into standby mode

Review 32:No tea making facilities in room, room and shower not very big, had to leave after 2 hours due to emergency but still charged in full for the 2 nights we booked.

Review 33:Everythimg was old and dusty. TheTV set did not work, but they succeededin fixing it.

Review 34:The kindness of the old lady at the reception. And nothing else.

Review 35:Parking space might be limited on site at times, although it didn't cause any issues

Review 36:Hotel Le Parc Des Fees is a nice and not-so-expensive facility that gives you an easy access to explore the area surrounding Puy de Sancy. During my stay for a couple of nights everything worked smoothly and flawlessly: hotel is quiet but close to the centre, staff offered help whenever it was required, evening meal magnificent (although on a bit steep side admittedly), no problems encountered at all. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Review 37:Beautiful location in spa town, next to river with view across to ornate buildings on other side.

Review 38:was not a dislike, but would have loved tea and coffee facility

Review 39:Loved staff were friendly, and impressed with hotel for a three star
