Reviews for Hôtel Princes de Catalogne
Review 1:Nothing to comment on really . Aspect was poor but one knew that before arriving. Parking is a little walk away . You should park in the car park near the Chateau Royal as you do not need to keep going back every 4 hours to top up .
Review 2:Location and comfort of room. Although it was basic it was actually fine for what we wanted . Able to have breakfast in cafe next door ( didn't fancy the hotel facilities which looked fine but in room with no outlook ) and plenty of good restaurants all within walking distance .
Review 3:There's no real parking. You have to give them the keys and the reception isn't opened 24h so they keep the car during the night.
Review 4:Very well located in the center of Collioure
Review 5:Would be nice if they had tea/coffee making facilities but maybe it's just a french thing
Review 6:Great hotel in a very quiet location, nice bar across the road which served lovely food
Review 7:One staff member was very helpful. We were able to park with our car protected. Location was excellent. Second night parking was in public paid parking which was close and secure
Review 8:Parking was highly restricted and necessitated leaving key with reception as cars needed to be shifted about. We opted for a pay car park instead. A bit tricky to find hotel as in side alleyway.
Review 9:Close to waterfront and shops.
Review 10:convenient location which suited us as we were travelling with an elderly relative who was able to safely explore Collioure and easily find her way back to the hotel
Review 11:There was no internet connection or wifi during our stay which made communicating with our families back home very difficult. The staff were very polite but couldn't resolve the issue prior to our departure. The location and amenities were super and Collioure a beautiful place to visit.
Review 12:No parking. Horrible coffee. Breakfast not worth the fee. Wi-Fi did not work most of the time.
Review 13:Central location. Clean room. Quiet for the location. Helpful staff.
Review 14:Very well located hotel i would say that location, right in rhe center of Collioure ,is its biggest asset. The rooms sre standard, on the small side. . Breakfast is ordinary . Staff is friendly.
Review 15:Bedding not appropriate for temperature, needed a sheet to use instead of quilt. Bin lorry and set-up of market made for a poor night's sleep.
Review 16:superb location, very central.
Review 17:Clean, convenient, friendly staff, good AC, modern. Very few hotels with pnsite parking in town but this one has 7 spots if youre lucky, you'll get one
Review 18:This was the second time we have stayed here-so I guess our feelings about this hotel are self explanatory ! This time we also had some friends staying. Central, well positioned for shops, restaurants, sea, harbour etc, comfortable, clean, friendly and value for money.Free Parking if your lucky but there are other car parks within a very short distance from the hotel. Would we recommend this hotel ? Oh Yes,would we come again ? oh yes. Thanks to everyone at the Hôtel Princes de Catalogne.!
Review 19:Everything was fine as always and will certainly return to this hotel. Location central yet not noisy. Good to have free parking even if a little manouevering was required, sorted out efficiently by the staff.
Review 20:The explanation of how to find the hotel could be better -- it is hard to find. Once found it is in a great location for anywhere you want to walk.
Review 21:The staff was great from our welcome to the lady who managed the breakfast room and was hilarious. The breakfast was very nice and the room was too.
Review 22:The €10 breakfast was quite limited in choice and the dining room had no windows. Just walk 3 minutes and pick any place with seaside or street views and you'll get a rich breakfast and change from €6.
Review 23:Very central, friendly and efficient staff, a huge and comfy bed.
Review 24:Breakfasts very disappointing (but you don't have to have them). WiFi also poor - kept on logging me out plus couldn't get laptop to connect
Review 25:Well located hotel, well looked after and very much in character with the town it is located in
Review 26:Can't think of anything that was not good.
Review 27:The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had one of the larger double rooms and it was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a refrigerator. We had considered staying at a more luxurious place in Collioure but were very happy with Princes de Catalogne.
Review 28:On a Wednesday there is the most wonderful market which sets up just outside the hotel...lovely to stroll along the quaint streets andrestaurants and shoreline
Review 29:no bad experiences but the cost of breakfast was too high.
Review 30:it was very central yet because it was tucked away down a narrow road it was very quiet and no traffic noise could be heard.
Review 31:Reception closes at 8:30pm not sure how easy it is to get hold of someone if needed.
Review 32:Everything, specially how lovely the receptionist was! Free parking out front, definitely will be staying again.
Review 33:Difficult access to a very unstable WiFi connection.
Review 34:Hotel very well located in the center with a (limited) private parking.Large bedroom.WC independent from the bathroom.Reception staff very helpful.
Review 35:Lighting in room not adequate as it was a back facing room with no daylight.

Review 43:Nothing.
Review 44:Helpful reception staff, great location a few minutes walk to the beach, laundrette, restaurants and the town centre, Train station 10 minutes away. Mountain view room was gorgeous and very quiet. Very comfortable bed. Toilet not located in the bathroom.
Review 45:No complaints!
Review 46:Neat little hotel right in center but quiet location. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable twin room with separate loo!!!!! Towels could be upgraded but all in all great value and most delightful place to relax...will be back!!
Review 47:No parking, difficult to find initially ( it's down an ally with no access from the street.) There seemed to be a nightclub nearby that was fairly noisy late into the night.
Review 48:Great central location. Friendly, helpful staff. Updated decor.
Review 49:The wifi was not stable and kept dropping off. The parking would have been horrendous without a space at the hotel which was very limited. We were lucky we managed to park our large car with the help of staff which was great.
Review 50:the staff were very helpful. Printed matter sent to me by hotel to describe where to find it was great - as it was quite difficult to find when driving. (it is up a narrow lane off a busy road). The room was very nice, clean and very modern. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very modern too and plenty of hot water. Hotel is right in the centre so once you park there are no worries you can walk everywhere.
Review 51:Nothing bad to say about the place. If i had to say something negative, then I just wish it had a view- but then we'd never had left the hotel to see the beautiful town.
Review 52:The location was absolutely ideal, and helpfully the hotel offers parking too. Arrived only a few minutes after booking online, and was greeted by a kind and professional staff member who went out of his way to help us. Room was tidy, curtains effective to allow a sleep-in, and had separate toilet and shower.

Review 55:staff were extremely helpful. parking is tight but very welcome in Collioure, This hotel far exceeds many others at this price level. Great for a night in the town.
Review 56:Parking can be difficult, they give you few ideas where to park. Better would be that the hotel did give valet parking for the customers.
Review 57:Location perfect in the middel of old town. Close to the harbor, the castle is wonderful to visit. Only French tourists, no busses with ''foreigners''.
Review 58:Hotel is very hard to find---follow directions provided in Booking.com reservation.
Review 59:Hotel is located within short walk of old town, restaurants, beaches, etc. Our room overlooked a park, was very clean, had AC and was quiet. Staff were very helpful and recommended great restaurants. We were lucky to get space in the hotel courtyard to park our car.
