Reviews for Le Relais Des Trois Mas

Review 1:Everything about Le Relais was faultless!

Review 2:Absolutely everything about Collioure and Le Relais was superb. The welcome we received was lovely, the setting of the hotel superb, the comfort and beautiful outlook from our room was stunning! We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! This is a glorious hotel and we will be back!

Review 3:Room very basic (being refurbished over the winter and needs it). The restaurant menu was obscure, apart from 2 fishes the choice was Hare or Pigeon. Nothing available during the day. The menu is always the same.

Review 4:The location is superb. The service in the restaurant was superb. The staff made parking very easy. Breakfast was very good with good service

Review 5:Rooms are ok but nothing fancy. View is great but wider Windows would be better. A bit pricy. €200 for a room with just a relatively small room

Review 6:location is unbeateble. Staff is friendly and very attentive. "Private" beach just under the Hotel

Review 7:There was only one surface to put a suitcase on, in a double room, that is inadequate. Our room did not quite live up to the expectations of a Deluxe -room. It was fine, but not at all luxurious, therefore not good value for money.

Review 8:Friendly staff, lovely pool, fantastic location

Review 9:We didn't have a problem at the hotel at all. The stairs could be a problem to some people

Review 10:We loved the location and the friendly staff . The restaurant faces out to sea and the town of Collioure. The hotel has a car park which is a bonus in this town as a lot of hotels do not ,also once you have checked in the staff park your car for you.

Review 11:We were awakened early our first morning by the intense smell of smoke from trash being burned on the beach by city workers. It permeated our room and clothing and the burning went on for hours leaving the room unusable. The jacuzzi was seriously over-chlorinated making it impossible to use. The wi-fi did not work at all. Staff was aware of the problem but did not give us a "heads-up."

Review 12:The location afforded a magnificent view of the Castle. Staff was courteous and hardworking (...one person did the work of receptionist, valet parker and bellhop!. Perhaps a little too much for only one person..) Nice setting. Sebastien was gracious about accommodating us for what were apparently unique inconveniences we dealt with during our stay.

Review 13:The WiFi in our room was rather slow - apparently an unfortunate side-effect of its great location. You need a car, but - no fault of the hotel - parking except at the hotel s a nightmare.

Review 14:Without question, its location and outlook, which is really excellent, overlooking Collioure's harbour and chateau. It was also a pleasure to e able to walk to Centre Ville, and avoid all of the car-parking hassles.

Review 15:The employee is very nice. After I left to Perpignan, I left my coat in the hotel. When I called them, the employee was very nice to tell me that don;t worried, she will handle that and mailed my coat to my hotel in Toulouse.

Review 16:During three the two and a half days of my stay W-Lan was not working. While this might have been acceptable some years ago it is simply not anymore today. "we're working on it" is an excuse for two hours, not for days! The rooms are nice and clean, but far from special. The hotel really relies on it's very special location which is - in my view - not enough to make up for the high room rates. While staff is helpful the reception - at least in October - was clearly understaffed with only one person running for everything that was needed.

Review 17:The location of this hotel is superb, with rooms overlooking the pittoresque bay of Collioure, the old town and the castle. Staff is helpful and kind. I have not used the restaurant but it is said to be excellent.

Review 18:Room decoration a little tired. Restaurant too expensive.

Review 19:The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is superb overlooking the bay of Collioure and it gets the last of the evening sun. The hotel and bedroom were very clean and comfortable.

Review 20:Not being wealthy enough to enjoy more of the brilliant restaurant.I expected to comment on the steps but we had help with our luggage and although there are steps they are interesting( not boring flights)and were easily manageable manageable for 78 year old Ted.

Review 21:so much- location, interior, we had an elegant interesting well-furnished room, the view of course,a balcony with sea lapping close by, fabulously comfortable bed, plenty of towels etc, an iron and board delivered minutes after we asked for it,outside seating communal and private, a nice pool( chilly but ok on a hot day) and the most agreeable, professional staff we have encountered anywhere. For all its excellence this hotel was never intimidating. It has a character all of its own and was a memorable place to stay.

Review 22:The size and standard of the rooms and the hit-and-miss servicing of the rooms. The snooty attitude of the restaurant personnel

Review 23:The location and the views

Review 24:Great location. Rooms small but right on the water with great views Front desk staff very helpful although we had to wait a bit for beach towels. Pool patio with direct stairs to stone beach and walkway along the water into the city.

Review 25:The room was comfortable; the view outstanding; the staff exceptionally helpful. I was only there one night, the restaurant was booked, so I did not get a chance to test their restaurant. The staff suggested another restaurant just down the street, which proved to be very good.

Review 26:This hotel is trading on it's site and design, there is nothing else remarkable about it. It would have been nice if the restaurant had offered menus at normal prices but this is no handicap as there are excellent much more affordable restaurants close by.

Review 27:Beautiful setting and an intriguing design of conjoined houses linked by steps and passages each with stunning views.

Review 28:You cannot eat there it is incredibly expensive, too many stairs

Review 29:Location, view, comfortable room, good staff very friendly.

Review 30:The view from the room.

Review 31:The view and the location was wonderful.

Review 32:Nothing

Review 33:Beautiful view of the castle? Great staff.

Review 34:No normal tea or milk in room

Review 35:Location Nice helpful staff

Review 36:Excellent food and good service friendly staff.

Review 37:ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Review 38:We liked the people, the food, the room etc etc

Review 39:Excellent accueil et personnel attentif La vue depuis notre chambre Le déjeuner et le petit déjeuner pris au restaurant

Review 40:would like scrambled eggs-not doing my own hard boiled egg for 18 euros.

Review 41:The view-the room-the decor-the jacuzzi-the location-the staff.

Review 42:The room we used was little bit shabby

Review 43:Nice view to mediterranean.

Review 44:too many stairs to many rooms

Review 45:beautiful views, fantastic one-star Restaurant, small but lovely rooms, easy access to swimming

Review 46:We loved breakfast and dinner on the terrace.

Review 47:Fantastic setting and views, marvelously attentive and responsive staff, great food- this is one place we will look forward to returning to!

Review 48:Quality of hotel Quality of room Price

Review 49:Location Views

Review 50:Access via car, all those stairs to drag suitcases up & down

Review 51:Location and view of harbour great.

Review 52:There are a lot of stairs.

Review 53:The location is amazing. The staff was extremely helpful.

Review 54:It would have been nice if they had a bar to sit in during the evening and enjoy the view.

Review 55:An ideal location, very quiet, incredible view of Collioure. Extremely professional and helpful staff who seem genuinely happy to be working there. The color on the water in the morning is spectacular.

Review 56:Took deluxe room but a bit rustic for a deluxe Pillows definitely not deluxe - more french logis that relais your are clearly paying for location not the quality of the room

Review 57:location, location, location Restaurant superb Staff extremely friendly but also very professional and attentive great shower Jacussi overloking the med

Review 58:There are some steps to the rooms and if you carry your own bags it could be a vigorous exercise. Our host carried our luggage so it need not be a problem.

Review 59:Warm hospitality, fantastic view, extremely good restaurant. Furnishings in fauve colors and rooms themed to particular artists.

Review 60:Could not afford the restaurant A cheaper alternative would be good. Not enough coffee & sugars in the room.

Review 61:The bed the shower the jaccuzi & sauna the view the breakfast The welcome the position

Review 62:The room was falling apart; the window did not seal properly, the furnishings were pretty tired, and the room was 'spartan.'

Review 63:Location was great. Restaurant was also a treat; good service, food, and wine selection.

Review 64:The price was very steep for the quality of the room. Also the staff was a little bit pushy about wanting us to make dinner and breakfast reservations immediately upon check-in. We didn't do so as the price point was very high.

Review 65:Loved the location ! It was an easy walk into the center of town and the views of the castle and ocean were stunning.

Review 66:There were a number of steps to climb to reach our room.

Review 67:This is our second stay. We appreciate the excellent, helpful staff. The ambience is very special. One enjoys views of the beautiful little bay and town. The pebbly beach below the hotel is nearly private and there is a small hotel pool located out-of-doors. Collioure itself, where Derain and Picasso painted, is one of the most charming in the Languedoc. One can walk everywhere from the hotel. We will return.

Review 68:Pool freezing cold (June). Beach untidy - concrete, broken tiled walls strewn on beach, electric cable running along back of beach, stony, gravel and boulders. No loungers on the beach. Tea/coffee in room - would like fresh coffee and fresh milk (not UHT carton). No ice in fridge. Room on the small side. Restaurant food good but prefer a more simple menu option also. Restaurant lacked atmosphere if eating inside. Very formal. No bar or proper reception area. Breakfast expensive, formal and should be included in the room price.

Review 69:Stunning views. Comfy bed, good bedding. Good shower. Room generally good - a little small but great view. Friendly polite and helpful staff. Wifi free and good. Quiet, no road noise. Sea clear and calm. Car was parked for us and delivered back to the door on our departure, free parking a real bonus in this town. Lovely town, area, walking, restaurants all fabulous. Easy delightful walk into town along the sea edge.

Review 70:Room on the small side.

Review 71:Hotel staff very professional and responsive to needs. Rooms upgraded with modern fixtures, excellent bed. Terrace off room. Views of the village and harbor. Hot tub and sauna facilities. Outstanding restaurant food and staff.

Review 72:Breakfast price (18 euros) seemed very high, but we went into town andhad a perfectly fine breakfast for under 6 euros. Maybe the breakfast atthe hotel would be worth it -- don't know.

Review 73:The room was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely view over thebay. The staff were helpful and parked the car for us.

Review 74:Room a little small for a 'de luxe'. Although the beach towels for the pool were fine, the towels in the bathroom were skimpy for the price of the room.

Review 75:Wonderful location. Very helpful staff. Comortable and quiet room with a superb view of Collioure.

Review 76:Primarily its location - Collioure is a very busy and lively little town with a lot going on, and it is very nice to be able to get away from the noise and bustle of the crowds. The terraces are a delight, the views excellent. The staff were, without exception, charming and helpful.

Review 77:As others have said, the location is terrific, located above the beachat the southern end of the town. You have a great view of the town witha lovely 5-10 minute walk along the harbor into the town. Theroom is okfor the price, but it is not luxurious. You are paying for the location. The hotel staff are very nice.
