Reviews for Inter-Hotel O'Nice

Review 1:Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Decent wi-fi. We tried two of the nearby restaurants and found both very good - and we're difficult to please. The hotel offered us a discount in them as well. It's also very conveniently situated. All in all, a remarkably pleasant experience.

Review 2:Would have liked to have had a kettle and cups in the room to make tea-coffee. It is a motorway stop and we find the continental breakfast option is not enough before a day of driving.

Review 3:Location was perfect as just off the motorway, walked into the town to get food as there was nothing decent around. Staff very accommodating and friendly

Review 4:Tricky to find first time but we stopped and asked directions.

Review 5:We just had an overnight stop and this suited us perfectly. Parking was free and easy. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The staff were helpful. The room was clean and comfy- recently renovated bathroom. Good free wifi.

Review 6:First impression of the hotel from the outside... It looked rather dated and tacky both in colour, design and name! The reception area was also quite tasteless and we didn't like the colour scheme of orange & purple at all in the dining room ! It was very 70's looking... and yet has a lot of potential to be more appealing as it has a vaulted beamed ceiling! The bedrooms were spoiled by artexing on the walls! The shower was very good but it made the floor very wet!

Review 7:The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. She telephoned before our arrival to explain how to enter the hotel and room as reception closed at 22.00. We arrived just before 22.00 and she welcomed us ensuring we had everything we needed.. Including two more pillows at our request. The room and bedding were immaculate... The bathroom looked as if it had been recently refurbished to a high standard. Bathroom was good quality with a very good shower.

Review 8:Room was too hot to sleep.

Review 9:A lovely clean room, breakfast was good. Parking easy and position of hotel easy to find just off motorway. Would stay there again.

Review 10:Nothing

Review 11:Staff were very helpful and accommodating, info in the room very good, even to supplying an adapter for devices. Breakfast was really good. Highly recommend.

Review 12:Located next to the motorway the room was clean, dog friendly we had a patio type door and the car was parked right outside our room which was good as we couldn't be bothered to unload the car, there was a restaurant next door for an evening meal and it was very quiet for a good nights sleep

Review 13:This hotel was recently renovated, so it was all clean, fresh and nicely decorated inside. Staff was really helpful and nice and breakfast on the morning complete and good. Will definitely stay again there if we have the opportunity to come back in the area. It is also close to the shopping centre and close to the motorway, which was a big plus for us.

Review 14:The booking said I had paid the first night in advance but I had to pay the whole bill on checkout so now I have to check to make sure I am not billed twice.

Review 15:Very clean and pleasant Hotel for an overnight on the way back from Spain. Will try to choose this again.

Review 16:The hotel was a little difficult to find as it was set back off the road but it was really just off the roundabout from the motorway. We were a little early but the receptionist saw us and let us in. Reception wasn't suppose to open until 4pm. Everything was very satisfactory - clean modern room. Very good breakfast - value for money. The eating place next door was also good - all very convenient. Would always stay there should I need to travel in that direction.

Review 17:Breakfast is very scarce, however not expensive as well. A very weak ray of water out of the shower, especially low warm water pressure. Not a very nice location if you use this hotel as your primary holiday destination (also not in the city center)

Review 18:Good location, close to the motorway. Good grill restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Swimming pool (not used). Renovated, everything is clean and tidy. Good beds with decent mattresses. Friendly personnel that spoke good English.

Review 19:Cannot fault this hotel

Review 20:Friendly staff. Very good quality accommodation. Bicycle friendly and allow bikes in the room. Good location with a supermarket nearby and some places to eat. Used this hotel as a stopover on way to the Pyrenees and will use again next year without hesitation.

Review 21:The girl on our arrival was very helpful and spoke very good english. She told us where we could get a meal and we were very happy with the space and the facilities in the room and breakfast next morning was great. She was very helpful with directions for the local supermarkets as we were leaving. All in all a good experience.

Review 22:Nothing really not to like.

Review 23:Good location just off the main motorway via Bordeaux to Spain, great restaurant just outside the hotel free off road parking and a swimming pool for those hot days

Review 24:Would have liked a kettle in our room. Due to an error on the website we thought we would have one, however the staff loaned us their kettle and provided cups etc.

Review 25:Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Beds really comfy and king size. Breakfast good value. Everyone tried hard to make sure our stay was pleasant. Excellent shower, unit large and spacious.

Review 26:The outside of the hotel is a little offputting. A bit untidy and rundown looking, and surrounded by an industrial area.

Review 27:Rooms were clean and comfortable with newly renovated bathrooms. Free parking, and a good walk into town, with restaurants nearby. Handy location for motorway.

Review 28:As in most French hotels in summer there is no heating in the bath/shower room.No problem in itself but if you arrive travel worn and take a shower in the evening there is no facility for drying your towel overnight. You could, of course, share a towel and save a dry one for the morning which seems very French!

Review 29:Just off the motorway and about half-way between the Channel and Spain- excellent location. The car-park is a little offputting and its surface is reminiscent of that of a transport café but there is plenty of space. Don't be put off - the welcome from Marie the 'patronne' and 'lovely girl on reception', as Damian from Belfast describes her, is warm and welcoming and she explained that they had initially put their money - a lot - into bringing the rooms up to a high standard - the parking area will follow. Can't complain at that. There are several 'fast-food' restaurants within walking distance if it's just a question of 'stoking up' and an early night. In Saintes itself L'Adresse at 48 rue St Eutrope is the best bet (05 46 94 51 62) and well worth the 5 minute drive into town but be warned Saintes is a parking nightmare - not impossible but difficult. Marie assured me that she is happy to speak English (we spoke French).

Review 33:No Hairdryer. No facilities for making a drink in the room.

Review 34:The cat that greets guests at the door. Free wifi.

Review 35:Could do with a hairdryer but am sure they'd provide one if asked.

Review 60:Excellent location just off the motorway, very comfortable. Eating places, Supermarket and Petrol station very close.

Review 61:Not many nearby restaurants that we could find, but a minor issue.

Review 62:Lovely girl at reception was very helpful and spoke better English than our stuttering French!.You now have to pay for breakfast but only €6.50 which was pretty good for the buffet breakfast. Just off the motorway and near a shopping centre and petrol station so good place for a stopover on a long drive south.
