Review 1：The hotel is part of a pub. Downstairs pub was open until 2 am and people sat outside. Noise travelled up to the third floor where we had our room. We could not sleep until everybody left. The other thing was that the mattress did not provide sufficient support (just a foam pad) so we woke up with a backache.
Review 2：Staff were very helpful and friendly. IT was Christmas day and they had food available. There was nothing else in Villefranche-sur-Saone that offered food so this was very nice! Food was good and reasonably priced.

Review 6：Despite being above a busy bar, little noise intruded into the room, which was clean, spacious and well decorated and furnished. The barman checked me in efficiently, and there is free overnight parking until 9am directly across the road.

Review 9：The hotel is directly over a pub, so it's a little confusing and hard to find. Breakfast is 7 p/person and only offers some croissants/rolls/cereal. You can walk a few doors down and buy the same for about 2 p/person. Hauling luggage up a very steep spiral staircase is a bit difficult
Review 10：Parking across the street Rooms are remarkably quiet for being directly above a pub. The price is extremely reasonable and the location (right in downtown Villefranche) is perfect for walking to stores and driving further in to the Beaujolais. You have all the conveniences of a town, but are very close to beautiful French countryside. The staff spoke English very well and were very helpful.
