Review 14:What a lovely hotel! The family that run it make it a very welcoming place. The room was large and spotlessly clean. We had a fabulous view overlooking the bay which was a joy to wake up to. Be warned it is a steep walk from town but we got used to it and fitter!

Review 15:Personnel is very helpful and friendly, the view from terrace and balcony is breathtaking. Walking distance to the center, to the beaches you'll better take a bike or car.

Review 16:Delightful family-run hotel with lovely views. Spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. Family were lovely and very helpful. Quite a walk uphill from town, so not for the unfit. This was no problem for us, and being on a hill made for very scenic views in all directions. Would love to stay again!

Review 17:There was nothing to criticise about this hotel. It was immaculate and the family who ran it were very friendly and efficient. The daughters also spoke English which helped us!

Review 18:The breakfast was a bit small, no fresh bread or pastries, it cold have been a bit more generous. There as a drains smell in the bathroom which persisted for 2 days, staff was aware of this.

Review 19:the room view and the staff was friendly. A very clean room.

Review 20:Very friendly and helpful family run hotel. Excellent secure parking for just a small extra cost. Good location for town and touring picos mountains. Would recommend this hotel.

Review 24:Nothing ! Would agree though to take mossie spray !

Review 25:Very relaxed very helpful friendly staff despite our non existent spanish. Young member of staff had good English and was very helpful.

Review 26:No air conditioning in rooms , this with evening sun made room warm at night. .Would have preferred a room with balcony . Breakfast poor except fruit juice . Packaged pastries and sliced bread . Weak coffee . Better options in town .

Review 27:The rooms in the hotel are well appointed and modern . Staff friendly and able to speak some English . Location in quiet neighbourhood ' short walk to town and front but note this is on a steep hill which could cause problems for some . Ample free parking in vicinity .

Review 28:Breakfast was sufficient but could have used a little more variety. Their OJ was amazing though.

Review 29:What a gorgeous little building! Both the outside and inside are beautiful :) The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is available and cheap (only 5 euro). Elevator was a plus! Our room was very cute and an amazing view. Spotless as well with comfortable beds :) Wifi worked flawlessly!

Review 30:Ideally located just a short walk from town, lovely rooms with fantastic views. Staff were very friendly and despite their little English and our little Spanish we managed well.

Review 31:We loved staying in this hotel. Excellent level of cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was perfectly situated, 5 minutes to the centre and 15 to the beach. We will definitely be going back!

Review 32:The 5 Euro breakfast was low quality and not with cost. The rooms lacked screens and we slept the windows slightly open so we had to contend with mosquitoes in the middle if the night.

Review 33:The bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and had good views of the bay.

Review 34:The friendly and attentive family that own and run this hotel make it an excellent place to stay. San Vicente is a delightful town with much to see and do as well as having a range of places to eat and drink. Breakfast is modest but at €5 is good value and well served indoors or on the balcony overlooking the river. Car parking also at €5 is worth it for the cool and security.

Review 35:Quite a steep walk up to hotel but taxi available from town centre.

Review 36:Spotless room with beautiful views.

Review 37:Poor breakfast, small room, no aircondition.

Review 38:clean, good internet conection

Review 62:Really friendly and helpfull staff. Got only positive things to say about this hotel.

Review 63:Wonderful estuary view. Short walk down to waterfront restaurants. Large private terrace. Free street parking or hotel underground parking. Very helpful staff.

Review 64:Clean and friendly. Views superb, though up a hill, no problem for us but may be an issue. 5-10 min walk into town. 25 mins steady walk over the estuary bridge to beautiful beaches. Breakfast simple but good for €5, catered for an alergy. Could park on road for free or in garage €5 per day.

Review 65:Located at the top of the hill with a beautiful view on the sea. A nice spacious room, very clean, a comfortable bed. Friendly staff. A very pleesant stay overall.

Review 66:If you are coming under yr own steam, the walk up from the bus station is VERY steep. Bring mossie spray with you (seems to be an issue all along that coast).

Review 75:The sea view from the room is lovely and being able to open the windows to let a breeze in is great. Very quiet location. English speaking staff were available in the evening and morning, and we managed to make ourselves understood with our little bit of Spanish when we first arrived. Lovely bathroom.

Review 76:if I was being really picky I'd say the breakfast was a bit light - and I'm not keen on sticky cake to start the day but this is a minor whinge!

Review 77:everything! the hotel is modern, bright, airy and impeccably clean; the staff are welcoming and friendly; breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a great treat.

Review 78:Location is just up the hill from the main road but a short walk into town. Wonderful view of the bay, the town and the countryside from our room. Friendly helpful staff. Free wifi. The most interesting part of the town is in between the two bridges, beneath the old castle.

Review 79:Personally I have no complaints. However it is situated on the edge ofthe town up a fairly steep hill, which could be a problem for some.

Review 80:Very friendly staff, eager to please. Well furnished and attractiverooms with views over the bay.

Review 81:There could have been a bit more variety with the breakfast. Fruit oryougurt would have made a nice choice, but the terrace overlooking thetown made for a pleasant experience.

Review 82:Spotlessly clean and very quiet. The staff were very friendly andhelpful. Although the hotel is situated at the top of the hill, it onlytook about 5 minutes to walk down to the town. The views from the roomwere stunning.

Review 83:Immaculate hotel. Family owned and very friendly and accommodating. Excellent views if you're facing the water. Far enough away from the town to be quiet but close enough to walk. Lovely location.

Review 84:It was fine for a June visit but with with no air conditioning July and August might be a bit too warm at night.
