Reviews for Hotel Bonaire
Review 1:The room was clean and well kept but the bed was hard and could have been better.
Review 2:The staff was great and really made our stay easy. We were there for several days they advised us well on things to do and how to get around. located in the heart of the action, it was great!
Review 3:Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. Great location close to restaurants in old quarter. Lovely little balcony with sea views. Rooms comfy, clean and a good size. Showers could be a little more powerful, but totally acceptable! Really enjoyed my breakfast. Staff fantastic and hard working. Perfect for what we wanted.
Review 4:Wifi poor but we were on top floor.
Review 5:Very friendly welcoming hotel. All the staff were excellent. Great breakfast, very relaxed. Good tapas in the bar. Great location
Review 6:Nothing at all!
Review 7:Authentic Spanish hotel/restaurant/bar. Tapas was excellent and very inexpensive. Staff spoke good English which made checking in easy. They looked after our cycles overnight. Close to the sea front.
Review 8:Located seconds from beaches and main streets, restaurants, etc. Spacious room and bathroom. Very helpful staff --flexible policies, friendly, good English. Nice breakfast included. Good food from the kitchen and generous drinks at the bar. Overall excellent value -- we all felt comfortable happy and a bit surprised at how much we got for our money in comparison to other experiences.
Review 9:The staff is very helpful and always smiling which brings a good atmosphere to the place. We had a double room with balcony and partial sea view, nothing fancy but it was nice to sit there in the shade when it got too hot. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. The beds were comfortable, despite some of the earlier reviews.
Review 10:Minor but sofa not comfortable. Very hot when we were there and hard to find shady area to sit None at hotel nor nearby beaches
Review 11:Loved Lescala. Village, walk to Sant Marti. Beaches. Hotel position excellent Felt like a local Room bed, pillows simple but comfortable. Renovated bathroom room 203. Great breakfast served at table. I don't usually comment on staff but 'Alli' is to be commended. Always bright and cheerful
Review 12:No permanent doorman Neighborhood bar was attached, openly, to the lobby
Review 13:Clean rooms Friendly staff - helped with car, gave us directions Good breakfast Excellent location (middle of town)
Review 14:The owners were wonderful hosts. They took care to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies, which was not easy to do. I will stay there again when I go back to L'escala and will definitely skip Lloret de Mar and Barcelona on my next trip to Spain. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone, especially if travelling alone and wanting to feel safe. It's a wonderful place!
Review 15:excellent location and great breakfast. The hotel is also very clean and he room was spacious. Still don't know why it's only one star hotel. Great value for money
Review 16:Small, personal, friendly. Pleasant room, good breakfast.
Review 17:Location - near the sea. Exceptionally friendly staff - excellent English. Lovely breakfast. Good room with sea view. Secure parking.
Review 18:Very pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Extremely clean and tidy. Very well run hotel, every credit to the couple there. Would definitely recommend.
Review 19:No tea or coffee making facilities in room.
Review 20:Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Room was spotless and exceptionally large with newly refurbished shower room.
Review 21:Struggling to think of anything... But we always appreciate having tea-making facilities. This was the only thing missing from our room - onthe other hand they did leave bottled water for our arrival!
Review 22:Welcome- The helpfulness regarding where we could find free parking inthe area and allowing us to leave our bags even though we'd arrivedearly. Location- Away from the most touristy area but less than 100paces to an early morning dip in the sea! Plenty of choice nearby foreating out. Facilities- Appeared to be recently re-fitted shower roomwith large shower cubicle and spotless in all respects. Room- areasonable sized room with balcony. The 4 of us filled it but it wasclean, simple and served us perfectly well - even a small sofa had weneeded it. Breakfast- Lovely to sit outside and be served. We'dbeen pleased with the baskets of pastries and packs of 'toast',jams etc and then totally surprised when a cheese and'charcouterie' platter also arrived! Whilst not luxurious, would be very happy to go back!

Review 24:The bar and restaurant were nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast, including the service.
Review 25:The parking situation. It is hard to find the hotel at night. Don't drive to it. It is better to park in a designated municipal parking lot. The TV was blasting in the bar area!
