Reviews for Hôtel de L'Avenue

Review 1:The heating seemed to be off in the bedroom during the night, although not in the bathroom. No soap dish in shower for soap and shampoo. Breakfast served too late for a business traveller's early start. Reception staff present on arrival only and just reasonably friendly

Review 2:Good location, close to railway station Within walking distance to town centre Very good supply of towels in the bathroom

Review 3:We like a firm bed but the Bed hard as a rock and to make it sound proof they put a matching quilt and quilt cover on the wall which didn't soundproof it really

Review 4:Very smart outside appearance Lovely foyer pleasant staff

Review 5:The temperature was unusually high in July- 38 degrees and there was no air con.

Review 6:The staff were really friendly and the rooms were comfy and nicely decorated.

Review 7:Free internet connection but for accessing it need to write your information details and email address (I don't like this)

Review 8:Nice hotel in a quite area close to the town center. Good service, clean rooms, private parking in the hotel for only 6Euros per day,...

Review 9:The reception area and stairwell smelt damp. The bedroom corridor was pervasive of strong cooking smells from restaurant next door. No air conditioning that I could see. Pity as these are issues that would make me look for another hotel.

Review 10:The location is excellent. Spotlessly clean. Good parking. Good restaurant next door.

Review 11:The television in an adjoining room was audiblein my room.

Review 12:The entrance gave a very good impression for a two star rated hotel. The room was very clean with better than average fittings and a large shower cubicle, the bed was very comfortable also I was impressed with the balcony seating .

Review 13:what`s to dislike...

Review 14:A comfortable small hotel on the high street, situated on the quiet side (east) of the bridge. Arriving by train, it`s about 12 minutes or so level walk to the hotel. If travelling by car there is a car park for residents. It`s about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The owners are helpful and friendly. A bonus is that the Maitre Kanterbrau Restaurant with a pretty good menu is in the same building - so not far to stagger!

Review 30:Facilities and position.

Review 31:The staff were very nice, the Hotel was very basic, the bathroom only had two towels and was very small with no where to put your toiletries, the restaurant next door served excellant food but a bit pricey, it's a lovely town with lots of shops, it was ok for one night but wouldn't want to stay longer. The breakfast was adequatel
