Review 1：L'Escala was a real surprise, lovely location. The hotel is family run, has a good lift, a car park out back, its accessible from the car park (make sure you request "no stairs room" if that's important to you when you book). Breakfast was excellent. Lovely people who manage English well and we learnt some Spanish. The hotel is located opposite the Tourism office and in the main Piazza. A walk thru the old town for about 200 metres brings you to the town beach and numerous restaurants and shops. You can also enjoy a coffee or drink in the bar located next to the reception at reasonable prices up to about 11pm at night. Room was fine, plenty of space, clean, good bathroom, shower bath, althou they need to look at the shower head support (I used an old toothpaste tube to fix it in place). Visited Girona, Roses, the lake at Banyoles, the old Roman and Greek town ruins. drove the coast road, local markets, great tapas and wine opposite the beach, spectacular 4 nights.

Review 2：A mirror in the bedroom as well as the one in the bathroom would be useful for the lady guests.

Review 23：The warm welcome and generous breakfasts. The hotel is in a very good location in l'escala, near to beaches and restaurants but away from the noisier areas towards Riells. This was our second stay here and we were not disappointed. The quality of the wi-fi had improved since our last visit (2012)

Review 69：Centrally located in L'Escala, the hotel has a spacious private carpark behind it and is a hundred metres from the seafront and the restaurants of the old town. I was recommended a brilliant restaurant by the staff and they kept open the breakfast for me even though I was late. The room was comfortable and modern.

Review 70：OLD tired rooms Unreliable Hot water Original room very noisey and AC not working. No water in Bidet. Replacement room was the same except AC working Coffee at breakfast horrible. This is unacceptable, Spain has a very good understanding of what is good or bad coffee!

Review 73：The hotel in whole is very nice and clean. It'is running by one family and you can even feel its atmosphere. The location is very good: just across the road - bus stop (buses depart and arrive to and from Barcelona, Figueres, Girona etc), and not so far from one of the city's beaches. I think this hotel is the best in the centre of La Escala to discover the most beautiful beaches outside the city (Mistral club beach as well). And, of course, I must say about breakfast. It is quiet perfect!

Our twinroom was basic and bright, with air conditioning, a big en suitebathroom and a balcony overlooking the quiet car park area with the seain the distance. The breakfast was a continental buffet with lots ofchoice, and there were loads of nice restaurants nearby. The staff werereally friendly and helpful and it was excellent value for money. Review 83：The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a private parking place. The hotel is in the central part of the city and can be easily found. Breakfast is enough not to think about food until dinner and very tasty coffee is brought. The room is not luxurious but has all you need to spend night in comfort. So you get for your money even more than expect. We are going to this place in June and will choose the same hotel.
