Review 1：We booked a double room while we were passing though on a hiking holiday. The Lys gave us a free upgrade to an apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean. The wi-fi worked well throughout. Breakfast was in a small space almost like a corridor but I suppose that in busier times of year, a larger room is used. All the staff we spoke to were agreeable and friendly.

Review 2：I had so many problems with lost baggage on the airline and the staff was very very very helpful trying to locate my bags for me. They went far beyond their duty.

Opening the verandah door at night to let cool mountain air into the room 4. Cauterets is an excellent base for walking and hiking; many day walks are possible including very challenging ones, as well as easy ones 5. The entire town was friendly, relaxed and everyone was helpful; we did not feel like tourists, more like welcomed guests throughout the village 6. The building lacks architectural merit but in all other respects it is true value and very pleasant 7. You can book directly with the hotel; a shame that on-line booking sites take such a high commission from small business owners

Review 13：What is there not to like, pleasant welcome, relatively good sized, warm apartment, (only two of us) comfortable bed, well-equiped kitchen - including a tea pot! The apartment has two bunk beds in the hall way separated from the rest of the apartment by a door and double bed in the main section. The small kitchen area has fridge, two electric hobs and a small separate oven. The apartment is a little old but everything was very clean and comfortable. We were skiing and the lifts are a short walk away, some uphill. Excellent value for money and we will use again

Review 15：Location was great, hotel welcoming. Apartment was functional and more space than expected. Liked the fact that you could close the door to the area where the bunk beds were.

Review 16：No stand-up shower, just a bath with hand-held spray. nowhere to hang damp clothes after a day skiing to be dry for following day. Not serious issues.

Review 18：When I first saw the pictures shown at booking web page I though it was a decadent old place.. But when you really are in the place is not that old. The bathrooms kitchen and necessary things have been refurbished making the stay really comfortable and warm. A nice surprise! Now I understand why is rated 8.2 at booking. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel!

Review 19：Studio had no dishwasher, tea towel , dishwasher cleaner and we weren't prepared for that. Would have brought own if notified earlier.
