Review 1：This hotel is an absolute gem in a wonderful little town. The situation on the beachfront is great, whatever the weather and the history of the hotel is fascinating. We stayed in room #8 - Josephine, and had two relaxing and rejuvenating days

Review 23：Lonely though the hotel is, I think the rates are overpriced. Breakfast is particularly overpriced although very nicely presented. We have been moving from hotel to hotel in Brittany and the accommodation and breakfasts are comparable in terms of comfort, cleanliness and food on offer but at half or a third of the price of the Reine Hortense. But of course not comparable in terms of grandeur. Many steps were not a problem for us but could have been for some.
