Reviews for Logis Hôtel Saint Clair
Review 1:Got a little lost at night.
Review 2:The location was ideal especially if one was staying a few days, however our stay was overnight and the parking was difficult.
Review 3:On arrival we were informed that we had to pay additional fee to store our tandem cycle in their garage. This was after I had taken the trouble, at the time of booking, to request somewhere secure to store it overnight. No response was ever received to say yes, but you are going to incur additional costs. The only hotel during our 18 day cycling tour to employ this kind of money grab!
Review 4:Location
Review 5:If you are infirm or have heavy suitcases do not visit. The stairs are steep and narrow. There is no lift. Stair carpet grubby needs replacing.
Review 6:The receptionist was very good considering she was very very new to the job and very friendly. Hotel is a very good position in town but needs a facelift.
Review 7:The rules! No washing in the room, no eating in the room ( despite it being out of season so most restaurants were open at lunch and closed or deserted at dinner, close the shutters to watch TV etc. Complaints that I had booked online instead of directly costing the manager 25%. Was therefore given the tiniest box of a room (it was a Small Double) and had to pay extra to upgrade to get space for a chair and minimal luggage. Mouldy showercurtain, chipped bath, carpet with oily food stains. All a bit mean-spirited!
Review 8:The location.
Review 9:Hotel needs updating. The beds and carpet are OLD. Needs more plugs, too. No A/C, so there was a fan in the room, which came in handy, but we had to get creative to charge our phones and camera batteries due to lack of plugs.
Review 10:We met 3 people at the front desk. 2 were friendly, third person we were not sure why she worked there. The hotel is very dated, but we had a room with a door to a small terrace, which was lovely. We had a lovely surprise - i asked for a parking spot in the remarks when making the reservation and when we arrived, we were given a key to the hotel's garage, just 50 yards from hotel ($8 charge/night).
Review 11:the hotel is in need of refurbishment it is very tired. No parking.
Review 12:The location in the 'Old Town' was excellent.
Review 13:It was in the old quarter. A quaint building.
Review 14:good location, building over the road where i stayed had character, nice room
Review 15:Friendliness and help from staff. Peaceful and quite.
Review 16:Breakfast could have some protein, like some cheese or yougurt.
Review 17:Location, room very nice, hostess was excellent.
Review 18:Bed matress very soft
Review 19:Central location
Review 20:Breakfast can't be taken in courtyard before 9am.
Review 21:Great location
Review 22:Nice people, nice room, great location - and good value for money
Review 23:Bed was not very comfortable, bathroom was a bit small and awkward.
Review 24:Great location. Hotel is simple but serviceable; rooms are very clean but not terribly comfortable beds. The little terrace was lovely, however. Overall, good value for money and a great choice if you want reasonable accommodations in the heart of the old city.
Review 25:Some mouldy fruit on the breakfast buffet.
Review 26:excellent city centre location with free parking five minutes walk away. Good beds, good shower, clean and quiet.
Review 27:Room a bit small, but okay for a single night
Review 28:Friendly helpful receptionist and other staff Parking Very clean and well maintained Home made jams for breakfast Lovely quiet location
Review 29:Not being allowed to eat in the room and also it was rather noisy due to being an old (but colourful) building
Review 30:Excellent location, room was small but had character, staff helpful and gave me thermos for tea making. Wifi was good.
Review 31:Nothing
Review 32:the location was just perfect, in the heart of the medieval city..everything walking distance. Clean hotel and not expensive ,with nice staff.
Review 33:We were late & couldn't find a place to have dinner after 9 but that was expected our problem.
Review 34:Town was fabulous. Loved the sites cathedral museum clean city happy friendly people in sites n stores. Thank you for a lovely day.
Review 35:Creaky floors and no lift but again it is an old house and wasn't a problem.
Review 36:I loved the welcome and option to take the room or not even after booking it. The hotel and room were charming. The towels in the bathroom were fresh and fluffy, not often seen even in hotels with more stars. The room decoration was simple but with attention to detail. The balcony outside the room overlooking the courtyard was a nice addition.
Review 37:Not much. One improvement would be to give directions to the nearby carpark with the booking.
Review 38:This hotel could not have a better location. It is therefore surprisingthat the price is what is. The reason for the price is that some aspectsof the rooms are slightly basic. Doesn't bother me, as if it werebetter I couldn't afford it.Albi is a beautiful city that is a delight to walk round.
Review 39:A very strong detergent was used for cleaning, which resulted in impeccable cleanliness, but also caused a quite persistent chemical odor which took a little while getting used to when coming back in the evening... (I couldn't open the window because of the need to keep the air conditioning going in Albi's heat).
Review 40:This is a small family business. The hotel manager was at first not happy with my being a day late (as a result of delays on the French rail network), but could be convinced not to charge for the night I missed (in spite of my inability to cancel/change my booking).
Review 41:The hotel is in the heart of the old town. It was very close to the cathedral, museum and river. Albi is a treasure. I highly recommend to visit Albi and this hotel a good choice.
Review 42:No fridge or kettle and it was the smallest room of all our accommodation in France, still adequate though and lovely decoration.
Review 43:Albi is a treasure, and the hotel was decorated in traditional style in the heart of the old town. It was a minute walk to the cathedral, museum and river and cafes. We had 3 days in Albi and had plenty to see and do. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Review 44:It was perfect to stay in the middle of everything, the staff helped us to find the underground parking. The room was very very small but for two nights we managed. Breakfast served in a friendly surroundings. It was a nice stay, but an extra plug for the computer and WiFi would have been nice.
Review 45:Not applicable
Review 46:The location was excellent as were the service and staff. The rooms were a little down at heel but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. If they could just upgrad the carpet and shower, it would have been perfect!
Review 47:I liked that the hotel was steps away from the Cathedral and the Museum de Toulouse Latraec. Over all a nice quaint place. The staff were friendly.
Review 48:Too small room and very small shower room without normal door.
Review 49:friendly English speaking stuff. very good location Good WI-FI
Review 50:Place near center good shoping
Review 51:Extremely small rooms with almost no cupboards.
Review 52:Wonderfully situated in a nice old house with pittoresque courtyard where you have breakfast.
