Review 1：It's the best location in istanbul for holidays. You can find everythink in taksim. Concerning the hotel, it was a great stay in terms of service and attendance. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices and fast room service attendence at anytime of the day. Super Smily and friendly staff, always present and ready to serve you! I was trying to tell her that with my account everything is ok and to keep my reservation. But she was continiuing repeat the same sentence not giving me chance to explain anything. Review 18：Only possible thing I could say is that the view isn't particularly wonderful, and it's not too close by car to the old city; particularly if heavy traffic - but tram and train lines are very close.

Review 24：I would not rate this hotel a 5 star for the the following reasons: - A five star hotel staff should help you with your bags into the hotel even if you arrive at 3 in the monring. - You expect a clean carpet in th rooms in a five star hotel. - In a five star hotel you won't see broken bedhead. - Although I appreciate the staff and the management of the hotel for their honesty and attending to my concerns, but that doesn't change the fact that my room was not cleaned for a whole day, which really was an unpleasant experince. And whoever plans on staying in this hotel, make sure you have your doors locked securly because the cleaners have a tendency to open the door without giving you a chance to respond. I have been a regular traveler to Istanbul in the past 5 years, both for stopovers and staying for a number of nights and if anyone asks me if i do recommend this hotel? I would say No. There are many 4 stars hotels that are cheaper and have abetter service in that area

When I called they were not professional at all and we're very rude.it took them 10 minutes to look for my passport and then they made me pay a taxi cab for the 60 turkish lira to drip the passport to me to the airport cuz I had no time to go back myself to pick it up.

Review 37：We got to the Hotel al 12:30 at night hoping to sleep, there were a party in the hotel, I called repection at 12:45 to ask what was going on, they told me that until 01:30 was nothing to do... ¿Is this normal in a 5 star hotel?, At 01:35 The noise was the same, Called again and didn't do anything either (what a wonderfull staff) and finally I came to reception at 1:50 and called the manager, the only opcion he gave me was to change of room, told him that what I wanted was to sleep.... finally at 02:10 the turned down the music... But for me was disapponinting and the service terrible.

Review 53：Great location, very near Taksim Square and Metro, about 3 minutes walk. Staff were very helpful and efficient, quick check in and check out process. Did not try nearby restaurants but there were quite a few around the hotel. Taxi available 24 hours across the street. Breakfast is good though a bit pricy.

Review 56：The access to the spa, that supposedly has to be directly from the rooms by elevator, however the elevator stops one floor up and so one needs to walk, all wet in his bathrobe, and in the cold, one stair down to reach the spa (the elevator is there they just stopped the access to the spa). The executive suite has a shower cubicle and no tub, I was expecting some relaxing baths and could not get that. The breakfast is average, many cheeses but the hot offerings are not very appetizing.

Review 57：We had the executive suite and with it we got an access to the executive lounge with free snack and drinks all day, free laundry, free local calls... The bed is big and comfortable and the hotel offers different kinds of pillows. The spa is nice, the kids enjoyed the pool. The personnel is helpful but most don't speak English and that is frustrating sometimes. Room service is available 24/24. The WiFi is available in the whole hotel and the connection is fast. They have more than 200 TV channels, many are in Turkish but they also have plenty of french, english, arabic... speaking ones and movie channels offer movies in both turkish and the original language. The Turkish Hammam is nice, the lady who did it is sweet. At the reception there are always turkish delights and Granny Smith apples offered. On New year's day, the hotel offered a free brunch to its guests which I thought was a nice gesture.

However closed windows suppress the noise in the streets! Pollution in Istanbul is noticeable and streets are quite dirty. Some locals are "pushy" trying to sell you stuff you don't want!

Japanese restaurant attached to hotel is good too, Lots to see in Istanbul and easy to get around on public transport. Get an Istanbul Travelcard. Hotel kindly lent us one. We did not use minibar, but when checking out we were surprised as they claimed that some beverages were used from the minibar & we must pay for (i thought they did not refill it at the check-in). Review 73：Unfortunately, the majority of staff members, especially those working in the reception, which are the first and last people a customer sees in any hotel experience, were very unprofessional. Examples: 1)At check in the employee immediately asked for my card with no greeting or smile. 2) The TV in my room did not work for several days. I spoke to them about it. They said the satellite is down, and No apology, reimbursement or even a roo change was offered. Most hotels would fix it or change your room. 3) I asked reception for information about tours and places and I got very little info with an unprofessional attitude. 4) I have visited numourus hotels in different countries and many staff members speak English. In this hotel staff members who are in contact with customers knew very little English. 5)Usually at checkout in all hotels I have stayed in, the procedure is to pay then the employee hands me a printout of my bill with all the information regarding expenditures made. This including a receipt that the bill has been payed. In this hotel, the employee asked for my card, typed in the amount due without feeling obligated to inform me of the total, and handed me the card with no thank you or goodbye. I stood there waiting for the paperwork, but nothing happened. It was as if I disappeared and he could not see me anymore. I had to interrupt his conversation with his colleague and ask him for a printout of the bill. He then expressed his discontent with a smug towards his colleague and gave me a small paper that the amount was payed with no details included. I had a long day of traveling ahead of me and I decided to finally just leave, instead of having to haggle my way through another unsuccessful and aggravating discussion.

Review 79：1. The location was terrible for late night noise and the traffic seemed to be sounding their horns 24 hours a day. 2. We were supposed to have breakfast in the executive lounge on the 8th floor. Our key cards didn't work to let us in (this also happened to just about everybody else). The lounge attendant was nowhere to be seen and eventually showed up after 15 minutes. The breakfast selection in the lounge was pitiful; we had to get our bread toasted on the floor above; the juice was orange or orange; the hot food consisted of hard boiled eggs, sausages and some revolting looking pancakes. 3. The swimming pool was spartan with no real facilities whatsoever. Also charging TL6 for a compulsory bathing cap is a rip-off. Access to the pool is via a very circuitous route and is not signposted anywhere. 4. There is supposed to be a free bus service to the airport but this is to Ataturk Airport only. They don't tell you this until you are actually waiting for the bus. 5. Laundry service was very hit and miss. Apparently they only wash at 30 degC and from the look of it with very little, if any, soap powder. 5. Room service was provided of a sort but it needed phone calls to get it done properly 6. Breakfast in the main room was bedlam with hordes of unruly children shouting and screaming whilst their equally rude parents simply pushed in and grabbed whatever they wanted. The few waiters/waitresses tried to cope but they failed. 7. What on earth is the video in the lift all about? All we ever saw and heard was a woman smiling and some typical lift-type music.

Review 80：1. The location was excellent for Taksim Square, Istiklal and local restaurants. 2. The staff were very attentive and helpful but then they had to be given the shortcomings of the hotel in general. 3. Our room was excellent and the bed was enormous and very comfortable. Unfortunately being on the 1st floor the noise from outside meant it was virtually impossible to have the windows open. 4. Overall the hotel was pretty good but it let itself down with small but annoying things. Fortunately the staff were very good and sorted out most of the shortcomings.

Review 81：This hotel is an absolute horror, terrible service, very tight rooms despite booking an executive room, rooms were almost never cleaned, bed sheets were not changed, dirty cups , glasses and spoons were left as they are. Complimentary water, tea and coffee were not replaced and when I complained to the reception they said it is not their responsibility and that I should talk to the housekeeping or room service. People working there has not got any idea about customer service. We were not greeted by anyone on the way out and in to the hotel. Breakfast is very poor and breakfast hall has a terrible smell. To sum up, stay away from this hotel, strictly not recommended

Review 85：We made a change to our reservation through Booking.com. Changed from 2 people to 3. We got a response from Booking.com that the request was forwarded to the hotel. A couple days before our stay, we e-mailed the hotel to make sure they had that change. They responded and asked for the names of all three people and we sent them. When we got to the hotel very late at night, they had no idea that there were 3 people. We had to wait while they set up a cot. Also they charged 45 euros for the extra person which seemed excessive to us. At other hotels we paid 25 euros for the 3rd person. No apologies for the inconvenience. Staff made it seem like it was our fault. Asked us to produce evidence of the Booking.com change request, which we luckily were able to locate on our cell phone. When I asked who I was communicating with in the e-mails just that morning, they said there must have been a problem understanding English.
