Review 1：Bedroom too warm, even with the radiator turned off, solved by leaving the balcony door open overnight. In fairness, our home is a draughty 700-year-old longhouse...

Review 2：Gorgeous location for an off-season break, with easy access to the whole beautiful Golfe by road, footpath and water. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Lovely southerly view over the water. Super main restaurant, with many exceptional dishes and ingredients to enjoy.

Review 4：The hotel obviously has a monopoly as apart from the hotel restaurant there is just one other bistro next door which they also own. The cheapest menu was 33 euros which we had with the next menu at 45 euros and the higher one at 66 euros or A La Carte. We felt the food was greatly overpriced and it was obvious the restaurant manager only had time for the higher paying customers!

Review 5：Location was great, right on the coast on a little peninsular overlooking the sea with lots of boats. Very pretty and we had a lovely room with balcony overlooking it. Bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated.

Review 15：We had a very relaxed few days - we ate in the hotel restaurant on one evening - fabulous but thought it was quite expensive as the brasserie at the back of the hotel served food of a similar quality in a more relaxed atmosphere - check out the bar on the waters edge round the corner from the hotel !

Review 20：Bathroom smelt a bit of drains when we first arrived, but staff soon sorted it out. Need a few more light bites to eat at the bar, they only really do full meals. Drinks a little bit pricey. Nothing to do with the hotel, but there is a cafe/bar in a wooden building near the playground just before you turn into the hotel, do not eat there, they are a rip-off. Go the short distance into Vannes, get far better food, more choice, nicer restaurants and half the price.

Review 21：Location is fantastic, garden at back is great for relaxing, reading a book and having a cold beer. Lovely sea pool a few steps from the hotel, small clean beech right on the doorstep. Plenty of parking, bikes to hire cheaply with lovely walking and cycle tracks that tack you right int the centre of Vannes, which is worth doing. Perfect place to unwind. Staff very helpful.

Review 22：The staff were largely inattentive, even surly. Despite that they could have provided valuable local information regarding transport and facilities this was done only under intense 'questioning'' Admittedly our schooldays French was inadequate but whilst reception staff spoke English they were reluctant to engage it! Pity! It could have been an outstanding stay.

Review 24：A wonderful hotel away from the city buzz with an amazing view over the gulf in a quiet area. Staff was really helpful, the hotel was very comfortable and the value for money of our stay was excellent.

We did have a balcony with a French door but I did not want to leave the door open all night as our room was on the first floor facing the car park and it would have been noisy and also not very secure to have an open door whilst asleep. The room was really too hot for us to sleep.

Waited a long time for our order to be taken and had to wait while people who had arrived after us were served. My order of shell fish then arrived half the size of what I saw being served to other tables. Altogether what we experienced spoilt what would have been a very pleasant stay.

Review 39：The position of the twin beds in the four bedded room were placed in a small area under a slanted roof which was extremely tight, with hardly any space to move between the two beds and one bed you couldn't sit up in. Thankfully it was the end of October or the heat would've been unbearable.

We dipped our toes in and the water was surprisingly warm. We had a lovely ocean view room Not as quaint as other hotels but clean and comfortable. Free parking was a bonus.

Review 60：The rooms on the first floor facing towards the parking lots look onto a roof. Someone could climb out one of the windows and into an adjacent room if the window is left open. The windows could not be locked into a slightly open position however, requiring that one sleep with the window closed. Unfortunate with such wonderful sea air. Otherwise I would have rated the sleep quality excellent, as the bed was great and there is no noise at night whatsoever.

Review 64：We booked 6 nights in a standard double room and had a room looking to the parking place! I was really shocked! I never would have booked this room!!! (The price for 6 nights without breakfast: 750 Euro!) When I booked in april (for july), there were only standard rooms available. I couldn't see that there are different rooms available and thought, that all rooms are the same! Nowhere was written, that the room has no sea view. All pictures in booking.com are with sea view or with closed curtains - closed curtains from these rooms looking to the parking place! Well - on the bill there was written: "standard room, vue entrée", then I also knew it ….! I think the descriptions of the rooms are misleading! It would be fair to write: "No sea view" at standard rooms and to put pictures with opened curtains!

Review 67：The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had an exceptional waterview which is a real benefit when staying in Vannes! The breakfast was one of the best during our 2 1/2 week trip in France. If you stay at the BW Le Roof Vannes, you will enjoy a very special time. Of special note is the staff....Camille at the front desk was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful...from resolving a reservation issue to providing good directions, Camille is a key person on the team! I highly recommend this hotel and will return again soon!

Review 68：My room faced to the parking area, which was very noisy until midnight and from early morning, as lots of people are using the parking area, not only the guests. plus the area around the hotel is very busy, loud people, cars are coming and going.
