Reviews for Host & Vinum - Le Clos des Pins

Review 1:The interior design of the room was exactly like in the pictures. We had a great room with our own terrace/deck, which was absolutely perfect for a good sunbathing session! The Front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were very nice and even went above and beyond to help us. One of the Front desk ladies (Fanny) gave us the best recommendations on where to have a good meal in Perpignan. When we saw her in the city and couldn't decide on where to go, she even walked with us to the restaurant (which was fully booked) and managed to get us a table. Overall had a great experience at this hotel, will definitely come back again.

Review 2:We liked everything about this hotel - the decor, the attention to every detail, the staff. If we are in the area, we would definitely stay there again and again!

Review 3:I felt sorry for the receptionist who clearly had a lot to deal with, not helped by the computer system crashing

Review 4:Nice room & decor. Not far from the sea.

Review 5:Wifi did not work very well in the room.

Review 6:The guy at the reception was incredinle friendly. Room was clean, newly refurbished. Aircon worked silent. We had a big room with a view onto the garden. Quiet pricey. Dinner at restaurant was good, not amazing but worth the price! Breakfast we liked, with big variety.

Review 7:Dark areas in rooms couldn't see into wardrobe even with light on. Road next to restaurant

Review 8:Staff couldn't have been nicer, decor was funky and contemporary, meals were a highlight with gourmet menu

Review 9:Fantastic boutique hotel with amazing staff and spotlessly clean facilities. Would definitely go back again. A 3 star hotel with 5 star service and facilities.

Review 10:We did not have a bad experience but would rate the breakfast as pricey for what you get.

Review 11:The room was modern and comfortable with a lovely bed. The pool area is gorgeous and the location great - quiet but close to the beach.

Review 12:I didn't realise breakfast was an extra 15 euros, that may have been my fault for not reading the fine print. I think that is quite expensive for what it was. The restaurant opening times weren't advertised anywhere. I didn't know it wasn't open out of season on Sunday and Monday. The bathroom products should be better quality for a luxury place like this.

Review 13:The room was beautifully designed with a nautical theme. It was large and so was the bathroom. Great location, just a short walk up from Rue de la Soif with all the bars. Definitely the most classiest accommodation and restaurant in the area. Reception staff nice.

Review 14:Nothing!

Review 15:Having travelled to various worldwide destinations we can be hard to impress. This hotel was amazing. The most helpful staff and food beyond imagination. The food surpasses that of the London Savoy hotel any day! Very modern and clean rooms. The superior terrace room is particularly good with its large outdoor terrace.

Review 16:Would like to have had an bed & breakfast option when booking. A typical French breakfast at 15 euro is a bit steep.

Review 17:Great staff, really nice decor, relaxed contemporary feel about the place. Would recommend.

Review 18:Nothing not to like - just wish we could have stayed longer!

Review 19:Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is excellent - very close to some really good restaurants and the beautiful beach. The decor is lovely and everything has been really well thought out and of good quality. The shower particularly was excellent. Good soundproofing of rooms as couldn't hear anything from other guests. The pool is a little cool, but lovely too.

Review 20:Having to get in via the car park on a Tuesday when reception closed at 8pm

Review 21:The reception area, the dining area, the pool and the gardens were all great. The bedroom was excellent, with new facilities.

Review 22:This is a gorgeous hotel with all the modern amenities you Look for in a beautiful place. And the owners are above & beyond hospitable! Will recommend to everyone !!!!

Review 23:The beautifully decorated rooms, the restaurant, the food and the excellent wine.

Review 24:Everything was flawless. Beautiful boutique hotel, nice room and setting and really friendly and helpful staff

Review 25:Everything!

Review 26:No tea/coffee makinf facilities in the room.

Review 27:Gorgeous food, excellent wine, very helpful friendly staff.

Review 28:I got my booking dates wrong, waived the cancellation fee and very helpfully rearranged my stay.

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:Very helpful reception, lovely room, immaculately clean, super shower with top quality products, very good breakfast.

Review 31:Excellent restaurant Well located close to the beach and center

Review 32:Location not what we expected. Room exceedingly small & not comfortable but terrace was nice. No coffee service in room. No lighter menu options & dinner prices very high. Breakfast not included. Parking difficult to access in & out.

Review 33:Staff very friendly & accommodating. Terrace was very nice & room remodeled in lovely style but exceedingly small & no comfortable seating in room.

Review 34:We were going to have an expensive meal in the restaurant, no other people were in the bar, we were all just talking and laughing and go told we have to be quiet in a very rude manner

Review 35:The décor of the rooms and the finish of the hotel

Review 36:Restaurant is extremely expensive, but in their defense, that's the sure way to develop a reputation.

Review 37:This is really a 5 star hotel and restaurant just waiting for the Michelin reviewers to arrive.

Review 38:Restaurant was a little too modern and sterile for our likes. Could do with a bit more 'homely' adornments.

Review 39:Superbly appointed and maintained establishment with very pleasant hosts and staff. Good size room and very modern en suite. Lovely grounds and secure car park. Situated a short walk from the town centre and the sandy beach.

Review 40:There were some problems with the key cards.

Review 41:I liked the friendly, relaxed staff. They were very accommodating and made us feel completely at home. The decor is very stylish and the outside space is great in the evening.

Review 42:We really enjoyed the high level of service, the stylish decoration, the large private terrace viewing over the well maintained park/gardens and the very good bed!

Review 43:No tea or coffee in room. Why can't hotels supply this small service anymore. Odour in passage and at times in the room.

Review 44:Recently tastfully renovated. Very large terrace with room. The restaurant's food and service was first class. 5 minute walk to the beach and cafe strip. Great 4 day stay.

Review 45:all the staff and bedroom the restaurant was excellent can not praise it enough and would highly recommend it a must stay in that part of the world

Review 46:A beautiful hotel. Lovely setting and very convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Review 47:Dinner quality was quite bad, not only taste, freshness but volume. We don't recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Review 48:Free parking space.

Review 49:No on site laundry service.

Review 50:Friendly staff. Super accommodation.

Review 51:€15 (95 francs) for a continental breakfast even if the croissants were amongst the best I have ever tasted;

Review 52:would have liked just a bit more hanging space for clothes;

Review 53:excellent food, attentive service, stylish surroundings

Review 54:Dinner was superb - best starter & dessert we've had since Blackaddie Country House Hotel in Scotland

Review 55:Just perfect. Nice, new and clean. Beautiful garden, good parking place, very good beds.Just loved. Good wifi.

Review 56:Comfortable room. Good wine and the little kitty cat who welcomed us!
