Review 1：Even climbing on the "hill" was pleasure for the end of the buzzy day at Lyon. Everything was fine.

Review 7：Great location, just minutes from Lyon city centre. Peaceful and tranquil, helpful staff, very modern room with a really beautiful bathroom. Easy private parking, nicely presented breakfast. We took the metro into the city and drove to a nearby metro stop and left the car at the multi story. Same ticket for the metro was also used the car park

Review 10：The internet connexion in the room was poor. We had a skype call scheduled and we had to go in the reception area to have an acceptable internet connexion.

Review 12：WiFi was very poor, no connection at all! Dinner in the restaurant was only a small menu to choose from two starters, two maincourses and two desserts, no card at all!

Review 13：That last kilometre from the metro station (Valmy) to the hotel sounds quite short, but be aware that one third of the distance is a very steep climb (30° ?). Also, the first half of the walk goes through a rather deserted urban area (grey houses, abandonned commercial buildings, ...) which I wouldn't advise walking through all alone in the middle of the night... The breakfast is served in a style you would rather link to a student guesthouse / dorm, but the quality of the products (bread, juice, ...) is good. In the room, the bed was only 1,40m wide, while standard hotel beds are 1,60 to 1,80m wide.

Review 14：Even though the hotel is situated outside Lyon, it is relatively easy to reach through metro line D (stop at Valmy). The cost of the hotel was only a fifth of average hotel cost at Lyon city centre during the yearly "fête de lumières" festival. The room had a modern look (fresh paint, furniture, ...). The bedroom was quite basic (just a table, a bed and a tv) while the bathroom was quite luxurious. Late arrival (after reception closed) was made possible after direct contact with the hotel. Be aware that the hotel is closed off with a gate after 23h, so you'll need an access code to be able to enter the building!

Review 15：Having to take bus 19 to Gorge du Loup then change for metro, or else walking to and from Gare de Vaise, 20 minutes. This hotel is more suited for car owners. The breakfast is a bit too communal happy claptrap like we're all in this together big round table, whereas I just like silence in the morning, without making new friends and feeling I have to be sociable. The breakfast choice is poor.

Review 16：Given I was visiting for the Fete des Lumieres, a religious festival, I was surprised to find the hotel has a church off the hotel lobby - I have never stayed in a hotel with a church (and organ) before, so it was a pleasant change. The grounds are lovely, the view is good, the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean, no hassle coming and going.

Review 38：Long downhill Walk from hotel to metro which meant long uphill walk from metro back to hotel. No air con which could make summer uncomfortable although we kept the window open and there was a lovely breeze coming in at this time of year (June). No fresh milk was supplied at breakfast time.

Review 40：Badroom was very new the rest of the hotel gave a used impression and needed refurbishing. The breakfast room was like a canteen. Breakfast itself was very good although limited in choice.

Review 41：The hotel lobby had a feel of a large school. The Wifi in the room was poor, we were warned, and they offered to provide a different room, but I said it would be OK, as it was only a single night.

Review 45：The reception staff is not helpful at all. They didn't help me neither to book a table in a restaurant nor to print out my train ticket. Not to mention they charged us twice for the room. The breakfast was very poor! Croissants, jams, jogurts, coffee - that's all! No cheese or ham or even boiled eggs! Nothing to eat really. Very difficult to reach by public transport, almost impossible. So you have to climb a very steep hill by foot or to take a taxi from city center, which is not cheap, taking in account distant location of the hotel.
