Reviews for Hôtel Le Quatorze
Review 1:This is a very good "basic" hotel. Nothing fancy but very good accommodation. Free parking is a plus. Reception was very good. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment
Review 2:Charming staff, very helpful, who maintain an immaculate small hotel in the heart of Figeac. The owner helped considerably in locating a restaurant late on Sunday evening. With parking readily available, it was easy to walk around the old, well-preserved town and enjoy its many interesting lanes and alleys.
Review 3:When are the French going to use shower curtains so the water can be contained ? Fan needed in summer.
Review 4:Good size bedroom and bathroom. Lift and excellent WiFi. Freshly painted.
Review 5:Doors being closed by late returning guests a bit loud.
Review 6:Location (pleasant short walk into the centre of town), easy parking, shower, breakfast on terrace.
Review 7:There was nothing to fault.
Review 8:Central,easy to locate in this lovely historic town with free parking nearby. Choice of two excellent breakfasts, express or larger cold buffet style.

Review 11:Very lovely owners and happy staff so all the guests were smiling too. It was nice place to stay because the owners are so nice to the staff and customers. It gave it a family feel. It was quiet, clean, and easy to park close by. The owner was helpful and charming. I would stay here again and for longer.
Review 12:The hotel owners were kind, helpful and welcoming. The facilities were immaculate. My room was comfortable and well designed. I highly recommend Le Quatorze.
Review 13:Location, the garden in front of the house, the friendliness of the owner and the staff. The old stones keep the freshness inside (the outside temperature was very high.
Review 14:There is NO air conditioning. Despite my concern, as it was in the high 30s every day, they did not offer us even a fan. All you could do was keep the windows and curtains closed all day to keep the rooms cooler. Once you were inside the rooms were naturally airless. Apart from this problem, it's a nice place.
Review 15:Location. Spacious rooms and good modern bathrooms. Small, pleasant garden to sit in.
Review 16:Nothing
Review 17:From the moment of entering the hotel we were made comfortable. The signage in the town made the location easy to find. Although we arrived at school picking up time parking was not an issue.Bedroom was roomy with excellent en-suite shower room. The manager and staff were extremely accommadating and most pleasant.Breakfast was good value and served in lovely surroundings. Overall FAULTLESS !
Review 18:One would not expect air-conditioning in such an establishment, but could have done with it during temperatures in the mid-to-high 30s.
Review 19:Charming proprietors who maintain the place well and create a welcoming atmosphere. Good attention to detail in the bedroom and bathroom. High-quality breakfast in the walled garden.
Review 20:Cleanliness of large room and ensuite, friendly owner and charming wife, beautifully presented breakfast and all so conveniently close to the town centre. There is also a lift for easy access to all floors.
Review 21:We had a problem with parking. We arrived at school closeing time andall the parking spots outside the hotel were taken by parents picking upkids. Suggest the hotel has 2 or 3 places reserved for guests arriving.
Review 22:The staff
Review 23:None
Review 24:Pretty decor in my spacious room and excellent bathroom. The owners very kind and helpful. Lots of charm, and personal touches. Home made, Local, green are key themes.
Review 25:there wasn't anything I didn't like.
Review 26:Our room had a lovely outlook of the terrace and a very comfortable bed. The colour scheme was very nice. Quite quiet for the centre of Figeac
Review 27:this hotel offers superb service. apart from nice decoration and facilities, we are quite impressed by the breakfast service which can equal to any 4-star hotel. The old gentleman provided us intensive information about Figeac, as well as the best restaurants in town. We appreciate all he has offered, and due to that, our experience in Figeac can be the best part during our trip in central France.
Review 28:Our room was attractively decorated and very comfortable and spacious. Although the hotel is located near the medieval city, it was quiet at night. Parking available in square next to hotel.
Review 29:Room Decoration and hotel services are pretty basic - despite this hotel being part of the Chateaux & Hotels scheme.
Review 30:Spacey rooms. General cleanliness.
Review 31:The Wi-Fi was probably my least favorite part. It was incredibly slow and as we travel for business and need it for lots of data, we found it to be lacking compared to other hotels in the area. The breakfast was limited to a few meats, cheeses, juices and cereals. No dinner service.
Review 32:Beautifully remodeled with modern touches, and extremely clean. The owners were very nice and greeted you each morning and night. Very comfortable and near the bustling downtown of Figeac.
Review 33:The procedure to obtain wifi access is not very easy but can be worked out. I would recommend the hotel to simplify it.
Review 34:The hotel is modern and in very good conditions. The rooms are very spacious and have lots of nice windows offering views of the city. The staff is really kind. The breakfast is very nice (but not included - it costs between 6 and 12 euros).
Review 35:Stayed 2 nights in a superior room which did not disappoint. The location is great and Iwould recommend a town tour map to follow as the place is steeped in history. We indulged in the Buffet Bfast which was worth the extra expense a geared towards use of local produce.
Review 36:Absolutely no criticism of a perfect stay.
Review 37:The central location, the warm welcome, the fabulous breakfast and the outstanding helpfulness of the down-to-earth owners were superb. Our early arrival was easily & graciously accommodated & the fair, lower beeakfast charge (we only had cereal) was very much appreciated. The decor was charming and the clean, spacious, cleverly designed bathroom was especially a joy! Free parking in front of this hotel is a bonus! Merci beaucoup!
Review 38:There is no dedicated parking and you have to accept that the on-street parking is always in demand. However we always found a space within 100 metres. We could have done with a stronger light for reading in the room.
Review 39:We stayed 3 nights and were made very welcome. The hotel is a recent conversion of great quality and charm. Michel and Marie-Agnès are delightful.
Review 40:We visited Figeac for the museum and this was within walking distance so no need to use the car. Room was large, bedding great and bathroom spacious with good shower.
Review 41:We were delighted by all aspects of this beautifully refurbished hotel.Buffet breakfast was well worth the extra euros with a great emphasis on local produce.
Review 42:The room overlooked the street car park, which meant that we were disturbed by traffic noise through the night. Though I'm sure that if we'd closed the window, this would not have been a problem.
Review 43:The hotel and room seemed to have been very recently renovated, in a great quirky modern style. The room and bed were comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, gave us a great brochure with a self-guided walking tour of the town, and recommended a bar for us.

Review 72:The best stay in France ever (and there have been quite a few...). Nice cozy hotel, excellent location, very tidy and spacious rooms. But above all - such a lovely couple running the hotel! Not only have they welcomed us heartly, but were also extremely helpful in sorting out all the problems that arose on a very unlucky day. Bravo for the warmth that have left us with a big smile waving goodbye!
Review 73:Helpful reception, nice room overlooking a small square. Comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom. Free parking in the square (sometimes all taken, but generally OK). Quiet location and easy stroll to restaurants, shops and points of interest in the old town.
Review 74:Excellent personal service at this family run hotel. They prepped our rooms early and let us check in as one of our party was unwell. Perfect location in the old town a short walk from everything. Wonderful experience
Review 75:A new hotel in an old renovated building in the centre of Figeac. The location is perfect for a visit to the town of Figeac and surrounding area, situated right in the heart of the town. The building has been completely renovated in a simple style and with good attention to detail. We found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable and the bedlinen and towels of very good quality. We had a delightful continental breakfast before an early start for the airport nearby. Our hosts could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Thoroughly recommend the hotel.
Review 76:There was no shower curtain in the shower room.
Review 77:I felt very comfortable to stay at this hotel.
