Reviews for Residences Paris Maillot

Review 1:The sofa was inadequate in a bad condition needed a armchair also. The barstools and bar wasn't a very comfortable place to sit but okay for eating .getting the Television to work was not straightforward to use. The housekeepers were very helpful made it pleasant my overalls stay was okay and I will try again if I could have the same flat.hopefully the improvements I suggested might have been done by then.

Review 2:Location .

Review 3:Absolutely awful, floors were broken ceiling was dripping in the bedroom wasn't clean and bathroom was so tiny if you turned slightly the shower tap turned off. We loved Paris but this took away from the experience a little as did not feel safe either.

Review 4:It was placed near amenities made it was to travel around

Review 5:The apartment is very used, old, un-modernized, and the furniture and amenities are at the minimum for minimal comfort.

Review 6:The location is excellent if you need to be near Etoile and a metro stop (Porte Maillot) in walking distance (8min.) Choose to be on 1st or 2nd floor, ground floor is really next to the traffic, even if the street is a smaller street, it can be noisy.

Review 7:The room that I was given (appartement 2) is far from being acceptable, uncomfortable layout, dirty window high up below the ceiling and leading to a courtyard without anything nice to view. The tiny bathroom did neither have a shelf to put your personal belongings, nor any holder for the towels; they must have been there once, as holes in the wall, partly with screws showed the location. The paintings flake off in many places and the shower is narrow with a plastic curtain that billows inward when using the shower, reducing the space available even more, that is already constrained by the bad location of the faucet mountings. This all contrasts sharply with the pictures of rooms provided on the website. What is the value of friendly and bi-lingual staff, when they can provide only a miserable room? The credit card reader did not work on my arrival. So I had to send my credit card details by text message, which I do not consider a secure way. I was promised to receive the invoice on the day of my departure (Friday; 0900 a.m.), but it did not reach me by Sunday evening yet. Interestingly, if you select the worst rating icon for each of the six categories provided, the calculated score is given as 2,5. Selecting all the full laughing icons the calculation results in a 10. This is – in my view – a fraudulent bias in the system. And by mixing the location into the score it is even more difficult to find a decent hotel, which in Paris is anyway difficult unless you are willing to spend a huge amount of money on your stay.

Review 8:Quality of the internet connection was good, but a better instruction on how to connect would be useful.

Review 9:While in short walking distance to Porte Maillot congress center, the comfortable apartment is located in a small street in a livable environment. A place to relax - it even has a balcony - after a busy day. Well connected to Paris public transportation both via Metro M1 and a bus that stops just across the corner and runs via the center to Gare du Nord. Last but not least a speedy internet connection.

Review 10:- not much flexibilty on arrival times - no bathroom products (soap, shampoo, etc.) - no security (door did not lock securely) with no 24-hour security - no invoice or receipt

Review 11:location

Review 12:it is not describe as in the pictures, we need full refund if possible or in part, My daughter did not happy to live us because of the poor condition of flat.

Review 13:Nothing accept our booking

Review 14:Room was small the bed was a sofa bed so stiff I couldn't pull it out to turn it into a bed. you pay 40 euro cleaning charge and you had to clean for yourself the place itself needs matience top to bottom. The room on the advertisement.. Is nothing like what it is. I was very disappointed.

Review 15:It was close to the metro.the room had air conditioning.

Review 16:Apartment is too dirty. Even they have charged 40 Euro extra for cleaning. Bathroom don't have lock. So Be alert when you are using Bathroom. No light in Stair case No cup for tea

Review 17:Only Wi-fi

Review 18:The shower didn't attach to the wall so had to hold it but was nice and hot.

Review 19:The apartment was close to the metro and the coach back to the airport. We felt safe walking around. The apartment had everything we needed for out 3 night stay, close to a little supermarket. The lady who greeted us couldn't be more helpful.

Review 20:Nil

Review 21:My place Is close to Paris Des Congrès and central Paris. Most import, staff are very friendly, courteous. As I stayed London for 6 weeks, family joined me for 2 weeks holiday at Europe. We had 10 luggages, difficult for 6 of us to travel Europe with all luggage. When I approached Ms Marilyn, she did help us and safely kept our luggages. The most important, she and her colleagues are so nice , friendly , we all are very appreciated their help and we had wonderful stay at Paris.

Review 22:studio apartment so small ,needed to be over 2m tall to use microwave, less than 60kg to have a shower. This was a big cupboard

Review 23:good location for airport ( beavais ) shuttle bus,

Review 24:Poor bedding & pillows Bathroom too small & narrow Cleanliness poor Dirty floors Flimsy doors - safety was a concern

Review 25:Good wifi Good Location

Review 26:Bath room is too small even to stand inside.extra charges for cleaning 40€,late check in fee 40 €ax1

Review 27:Location and facilities inside apartment were good.

Review 28:Had not expected that it was a living/bedroom combined with bedroom only separated from living by a 'curtain'. It's not good for 2 people if you want some privacy and definitely not good for 4 adults.

Review 29:Location and friendly landlady.

Review 30:No one appeared at the time we were told they would be on the street for checking. Not everyone has a cell phone that can make calls while in a Nother country. We had to go to a store and find someone with the phone in order to get in to the apartment. We were there and waited for a long period until we were able to accomplish this frustrating

Review 31:Wi-Fi worked well. Towels and bedding wereclean

Review 32:The amenities are not enough,In the room did not available: ziepes fēns; very small windows, not be able to open!

Review 33:Excellent location, easy to find! Good free WIFI!

Review 34:The apartment were to old. I went there from uk I had a problem with the plugs. And there wasn't hair dryer.

Review 35:The staff were helpful and kind. The apartment weren't as I thought . The bed was comfortable.

Review 36:Travelling with my two small children, we landed at Beauvais Airport. Took the shuttle bus to Porte Maillot, the residence is just a 10 min. walk away. Easy access to Metro and RER C line. About 20 mins (via metro) to Eiffel Tower, one change at Charles de Gaulle Etoile. The premises itself were perfect, all you need for a short stay, at an affordable price. Heating was fantastic, and the free (and very stable) WiFi was the icing on the cake. I would certainly recommend this place

Review 37:The studio appartment is well located, close to the center, transtportation, clothing shops and gourmet food. The studio is located on the ground floor in a side street so it's not noisy.

Review 38:I'm very happy that I went to Residence Paris Maillot , the staff was really welcoming , comfort excellent , location was perfect , I felt like a parisian that live in a parisian building , I will come back next time I visit the French capital

Review 39:As it is flats in a building, maybe the lack of promiscuity with other renters (you do not run into people inside the building, very calm). But still, that is what we were looking for with my fiancée. So not a drawback at all. Thanks again to the landlord !

Review 40:The landlord is very available, welcoming and full of tips to head u towards the best spots and addresses throughout Paris. The flat is perfectly furnished and well refurbished as it is brand new and made of quality materials. The building and flat are really clean and nicely located in "Porte Maillot" one of the main way near the "Arc de Triomphe". Well suited, perfect for a romantic escape in the most beautiful and romantic city in the world. I will definitely not forget this trip for a very very long time. Paris is just an incredible city, and the flat we booked showed a very good quality/price ratio. I highly recommend this residence.

Review 41:The small size of apartment, but this is Paris

Review 42:Perfect location, very close to all kind of transport, nice and quiet area, the apartment has everything you need for a normal life. Very polite and pleasant host who greeted us at 22 p.m., and sent us to 17 p.m. without paying any additional fees. I would recommend it to anyone without the pretense of luxury.

Review 43:On arrival we couldn't make contact with the caretaker/manager. There was a note on the door but it was written in French. We stood at the door in the rain for 15 minutes trying the different phone numbers before we made contact to be allowed in. The note was subsequently amended including English but booking.com should include a note regarding the procedure so travellers are aware they need to have a mobile phone to contact the manager upon arrival. There was a lack of homeliness in the apartment due to no pictures on the walls in the sitting (lounge) room, no rug on the floor (but we accept it is easier to keep the place clean without carpet). We couldn't believe there were no wine glasses in the kitchen so that we could enjoy our nice bottle of wine from the Bourdeaux region we purchased for our evening night caps. The shower could do with a better screen so water doesn't go all over the bathroom floor when showering.

Review 44:The apartment was close to shops and in a nice neighbourhood, and an acceptable walking distance to the train station. It was convenient to the Arc de Triomphe and we walked to des Champs Elysees. Being on line 1 of the rail system was very helpful. It was lovely to be able to get home from sightseeing and sit on a couch and make some breakfast every morning.

Review 45:Difficult to find first time Cramped quarters, adequate for one person. But for two? Pull-out bed not very comfortable

Review 46:Location Price, cleanliness Good local restaurants Closeness to Metro and Air France bus stops
