Review 1：was made welcome and shown around; my luggage was carried to my room! Breakfast was good quality food. Free Wi-Fi, plenty of TV channels (solo traveller). Comfortable bed!
Review 2：A lovely location within Chard, which itself is in a beautiful part of the country. Super hosts, comfortable beds, really clean property. Loved reading the interesting history of the house.

Review 12：Trudie and David were friendly and very helpful with local information to find good eateries etc. Watermead is in good position to visit a number of popular destinations, Lyme, Sidmoutn being two .
Review 13：Breakfast was served freshly cooked, and in a pleasant atmosphere. Both Trudy and David were happy to assist in advising and booking evening meals, plus suitable places to visit.
Review 14：We did not have any bad experience and the only reason to mark slightly down in the facilities section was that we prefer a bath to a shower, but that is just a personal thing.
Review 15：Everything was just as described, the choice at breakfast was excellent and extremely well cooked, all fresh and nothing overcooked. The location was very handy for visiting in Somerset, Dorset & Devon and the owners could not have been more helpful.
Review 16：We found the bed a bit too firm probably because have a very soft bed athome. The shower was in the bedroom rather than in the en-suite and itwas cold when you got out.

Our room was light and pleasant and we thought it was verygood value for money. The large private car park was ideal for parkingour classic car.

Review 27：From the welcome until departure our stay was lovely. I had booked to stay with my mother who had a hospital appointment in Axminster, although it was booked just for a place to stay for the night on arrival we were pleasantly surprised, away from the main road, our twin room was extremely comfortable and certainly exceeded our expectations. The couple Trudy and David who own it treated all the guests with a warm welcome and a great breakfast, with advise for where to visit in the area, which was helpful as we popped into Lyme Regis for lunch on their recommend. Would certainly book again without hesitation.

Review 30：Trudy and David were super nice and friendly. Very comfy room,wonderful breakfast, large onsite parking. Also the hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops in town. Charmouth and Lyme Regies coastline are just a short drive away. We truly felt like home during our stay and enjoyed this trip very much!

Review 50：Friendly greeting on arrival set the tone for the rest of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the delightful hosts. Their house became our home for the stay and you felt part of a big family along with all the other guests. The hosts knowledge of the area, what to do, where to go and where to eat was invaluable, making for a very relaxing stay.
