Reviews for Citotel Le Mirage
Review 1:Glad it didn't rain, since the walk outside to breakfast (in the poolside restaurant) would have been nasty!
Review 2:Elegant surroundings. Easy car parking. Interesting architecture
Review 3:Nice hotel, nice and clean rooms with all facilities, the bathroom is big and clean also, great and various breakfast and posibility of parking in hotel area.
Review 4:I cannot speak about a bad experience. The facility is quite isolated and they do not operate a restaurant inside the hotel. It is mandatory to use the car for each lunch and dinner.
Review 5:First of all the kindness and the professionality of the staff. Nice facility with a relaxing park.
Review 6:The garden and landscaping just needed some attention and the bar ran out of Coke.
Review 7:Breakfast, bedroom and swimming pool were all excellent, and the car parking was secure.
Review 8:Easy to find. Great pool and grounds . Room was a little worn , one of window shutters winder was broken. Not all shower tiles were grouted . English news channel was good
Review 9:No restaurant. Nowhere close to walk to
Review 10:Pretty grounds
Review 11:Slightly far out from the beaches and town centres but nothing else really
Review 12:Lovely staff, great pool, quiet and you could order in food if you wanted
Review 13:40mns from Marseilles Airport.
Review 14:Great pool and garden. Especially in the evening with a glass of "rosé" and the secadas singing !
Review 15:Breakfast was really poor.
Review 16:The pool is really nice.
Review 17:breakfast 10 euros too expensive
Review 18:swimming pool and staff
Review 19:First room allocated had not been refurbished compared with the other 3 and no closure on bathroom door, Bitit just hadn't been fitted.
Review 20:Pool area.
Review 21:could not use the pool in the winter.
Review 22:The homely atmosphere of the rooms, the elegance of the gardens and scenery and the availability of a gym room
Review 23:Very nice and elegant, we had the family suite and very nice and very polite staff, we will come back!
Review 24:Room, pool, nice staff.
Review 25:Facilities very good. Ideal for a family.
Review 26:We sent some time around the pool and in the hotel, no staff could be found to ask about drinks during the day and the hotel did not seem quite open for business. Chairs and tables by the pool still stacked up. We had to leave the hotel to get any form of refreshments.
Review 27:The hotel was clean and the staff on arrival and departure were helpful
Review 28:The breakfast consists of croissants and juice which is not a lot considering the price of breakfast.
Review 29:The hotel is unique. The pool is great and the hotel is located in a beautiful area near parks. It is quite far to walk to the city center but it is a short drive.
Review 30:A car is essential, even though, for example the marina, is only 500yards as the crow flies, it is a difficult hilly (and cliff) walk. Hotel has a gravel drive so if you sleep in the front of hotel (where the best rooms are) you hear every foot and car movement during the night. Breakfast was 10 euros each which was a bit pricey considering what was offered.
Review 31:Very good room with view of pool. Excellent friendly staff. 20m pool which was good for swimming lengths with very pleasant shaded surrounds. Good location to get to lots of places by car (essential). There are two local beaches on the Etang and other callanques style beaches at Carre le Rouet (approx 40mins). Camargue is one hour of easy driving as well as the mountains. Overall very pleasant and relaxing
Review 32:The hotel has got the feeling of a resort. It has a nice big garden with a big swimming pool in which you can relax. The location is ideal for discovering the villages of the Provence.
Review 33:Could use wall outlets in the bathroom as well as near the bed.
Review 34:Manager was extremely helpful with walking directions and localrestaurant suggestions.
Review 35:The hotel staff made a real effort, it was obvious to see they are a dedicated team. The hotel is clean and functional whilst located a little way out of town the Marina is only a short walk away. Taxi's or bike hire can easily be arranged.
Review 36:The room's decor was a bit tatty and dated. The folding bathroom door was dangling and the maintenance work around light switches and doorframes was plastered, but unpainted.
Review 37:The staff at le Mirage couldn't have been more helpful and a very late check-out was no problem at all. Although it is about a 40 minute walk into town, the hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk to the pretty marina which has a handful of good restaurants.
Review 38:Very limited restaurant facilities. No provision of tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Review 39:Very friendly, helpful staff. Spacious airy room with balcony overlooking pool. Free wifi.
Review 40:Just a minir comment : we had a late breakfast on Saturday morning and found that there were delays while the food was being restocked - it was also difficult to get plates; knives etc.and the coffee maker ran out of coffee beans and then needed to have the waste product cleaned out before it could be operational.
Review 41:Excellent staff - we were delayed due to an accident on the motorway, contacted the reception and someone waited until we arrived after 0030 am. Our rooms were also upgraded ! Rooms are confortable and carpets are being replaced where required.
Review 42:If the guest is basically staying at the hotel for several days, the owner might consider cleaning the garden (at the back and sides) a little more. We were offered a room in the main building in stead of a "bungalow". The bungalows seem small and dark. Good for a short stay, I suppose, but not for longer stay (without kids). But being at the room for the price of a bungalow made the price-quality indeed very worthwhile.
Review 43:We are almost hesitant to tell you how good the hotel was (considering the price at that surroundings); we would like to keep it to ourselves. But the personell deserves results on their good work (and possitive attitude). Descent, clean room with bath and toilet (and small balcony). A nice breakfast buffet. The pool was very inviting but we went to the beaches at the sea (half hours drive) all the time. Towns Istres, Martigues are very close and nice. Cities Aix, Arles and Marseille and nature sites (mountain/hills and camargue) within an hours drive; the hotel is thus ideally located to travel the Provence.
Review 44:For a french hotel I have rarely seen this many tv channels on offer, especially foreign ones. Two thumbs up for that. I also liked thecomprehensive breakfast and the helpful staff. The location is greatfor jogging in the nature with stunning views of the Berre lake fromthe woods.
Review 45:Restful environment, great stay.
Review 46:- nice pool and garden (with small playground and chairs) - we could play petanque in the garden - friendly staff
Review 47:Hard to find
Review 48:Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.
Review 49:A little tatty, but clean.
Review 50:The staff are truly wonderful - cheerful, helpful. Big rooms.
Review 51:everything except the garden
Review 52:the garden
Review 53:The decoration is a little rough around the edges
Review 54:The staff could not be more helpful
Review 55:Personal attention by the limited yet friendly staff.
Review 56:comforable, quiet hotel with skilled polite staff. Special thanks for Zhanna!
Review 57:1st floor quiet, other floors have thin walls, tend to be noisier.
Review 58:The staff was exceptional. very nice, helping and welcoming. Room a little little but confortable and clean
