Reviews for Hôtel Le Ménestrel
Review 1:The lip of the door from the shower cabin was very dirty and moldiness, bathtub very slippery. Worn out furniture, torn curtain, very small breakfast buffet for a price of 12 €.
Review 2:Beautiful town, the hotel is round about 500m from the City. Many restaurants, good food. friendly breakfast room. The hotel staff is very friendly. Big parking lot.
Review 3:Convenient location about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Ribeauvillé. Convenient location of room (room B) in the ground floor, close to carpark exit and to the sauna. Large room, but obviously designed for disabled guests.
Review 4:I prefer an upper sheet and a blanket for the bed rather than the duvet supplied. It can get very warm under the covers, save for winter.
Review 5:Good croissants and helpful receptionists.
Review 6:This is a shabby motel. The rooms are small, the hallways are dark, the paint is badly chipped. It's right on the main road, so lots of noise. The pictures and reviews made it seem great, but we were quite disappointed.
Review 7:The bed was comfortable. The desk staff was helpful. Free parking.
Review 8:The triple room "Les Troubadou" was.. average, no air condition system- just a fan on the ceiling and no refrigerator. Very incovenient at a temperature for more than 30 deg.C. The towels are very old and worn-out. They didn't take the garbage from our room, even if we stayed there for two nights.Breakfast is poor and overrated. They charged us for a child under 12 years with the same price even if it was specified that for children under 12 the price is 7 euros.
Review 9:The location is excellent to visit the wineyard of Alsace.
Review 10:as a self catering it could be at lower price
Review 11:nice, new flats, fully equipped, very specious and in the midst of the vineyards, though very close to the town centre. tranquil.
Review 12:The cooker whilst very modern was a bit awkward to work and a bit too smart since it turns itself off unnecessarily. Some of the ceiling painting was bubbled and peeling off which was a little unattractive but didn't detract too much from the overall clean airy and nicely decorated feel of the apartment.
Review 13:The appartment was really clean and very nicely decorated. The floors are wood or tiles so everything felt clean and airy. Location was excellent and a nicel walk into the centre of Ribeauville.
Review 14:Nothing. My third stay here.
Review 15:You should request a small balcony room on the North (shady) side. From here you have nice views left and right. Rear parking lot with available luggage carts and elevator make room access very easy for those with lots of luggage or limited mobility.
Review 16:the wi-fi was only available in the reception area.
Review 17:family of 4, kids age 8+12, stayed in a one-bedroom apartment in the building right next to the main building. New and clean, lovely! Great rooms with lots of utensils for cooking and so one, dishwashing machine etc. Lovely SPA facilities! Excellent and service minded staff, very nice breakfast buffet.
Review 18:Patrick,the manager, was extremely helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He gave valuable information regarding local restaurants,a family owned patisserie, walks etc. A special thank you to Sara who helped with the internet. Local residents were helpful and friendly. Great location for walking and exploring the surrounding area. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Review 19:Hotel was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff was excellent, extremely helpful in getting us dinner reservations several times, many were closed, and their suggestions were right on. I'd stay there again. No negatives and parking right out the door was useful.
Review 20:The wifi did not function at the apartment!
Review 21:Location was good, just little out of town, but excellent for cycling and walking. Bathroom with bathtub was large and apartment with own little backyard clean. The staff was very friendful.
Review 22:Great location. Very short walk into town and a variety of restaurants. All staff were friendly and helpful, Patrick especially so. We would return in a heartbeat.
Review 23:Room set up was a little cramped despite the decent sized room but definitely not a deal breaker for staying at this place!
Review 24:Location was great! Love the quaint little town of Ribeauville this hotel is located in. Close to Colmar but away from the craziness of that town. Hotel staff is very nice & welcoming. Rooms were comfortable with all that you needed. Free convenient parking on site. Nearby fruit picking & wineries!
Review 25:There is no air conditioning and it was very warm.
Review 26:The location is great- walking distance to downtown area. One member of the staff, Patrick, gave superb customer sercvice- he recommended restaurants and gave us a lot of helpful info about the wine fair we were attending. He was great!

Review 49:Location and space.
Review 50:Friendly staff
Review 51:Easy to find good parking spacious rooms and friendly receptionist the comment of Jaromir is nonsense there is no need to bring your own soap everything is provided the breakfast was excellent
Review 52:Bring your own toiletries, soap, shampoo etc.
Review 53:The hotel is located right on the Route de vin, very convenient for exploring the region. There is a superb one-star (Michelin) restaurant across the road and a Bott wine store next to the hotel who sell sensational Alsace wine ranging from bemedalled Gewurztraminer to a very dry Riesling.
Review 54:Internet limited to 20Gb per 24 Hrs.
Review 55:Very friendly and sympatic service throughout. Free and spacy parking. Newly renovated. close to city centre and wine fields. Great view from the rooms to the South.
Review 56:They used to have the most delicious croissants but now they are just run of the mill. We don't know if they have changed bakeries but we do miss the old croissants!
Review 57:We have stayed at this hotel for several years and think that it is wonderful. Patrick at the front desk is so friendly and always welcomes you on your arrival.
Review 58:I think that the price is somewhat too high
Review 59:Staying at The Menstrel was a wonderful experience, thanks mainly to the wonderful couple Melanie and Francisco - a friendly and warm encounter. They are a real example for how hotel guests should be treated. Bravissimo!!!
