Review 1：I can see why some people would struggle to find this place but the map on booking.com is very accurate.

Review 2：Beautiful location, the balcony was a real treat. Warm welcome from Anneliese. We used the common room to cook and also enjoyed a drink in the local pub, about a 5 minute walk away (passing a field of deer en route). Great value.

Review 3：Gossau is a very pretty village. Many families raise sheep, cows or horses. There are sheep grazing behind our house. Gossau See is heavenly beautiful. The hostess does not speak English, but she is very friendly and helpful. All the guest rooms (4) share one toilet. I didn't find it inconvenient, though. Our bedroom has a tap, a sink, and a shower stall.

Review 4：The village Gosau is beautiful. There are sheep grazing behind the house. We can see horses, cows and sheep on other ranches. The hostess does not speak English, but she is friendly and helpful. I made a mistake booking one of the 2 rooms my party needs. She let us all stay for 2 nights without a problem. We share 1 toilet with another smaller party, but there wasn't any issue.

Review 5：I'm not extremely sensible to cleaniness but the window of my balcony was simply dirty... Guests are asked to pay at arrival which is kinda distrust and unpoliteness in my opinion...

Review 6：The location of the house is very good, halfway between Gosau itself and its next outskirt, Mitteltal. From the balcony you can even enjoy the view of the glacier behind the beautiful Gosausee...

Review 7：No english speaking,difficult to find the place,no hello,no service,stop bathing after 10pm.,too early check out at 10.30 am.,clear the bed room while we were still in bed room like we were chasing.etc.

Review 9：The only point what we didnt like was at the arrival - we arrived quite late at night (shortly before 23.00). I talked to the owner of the house and announced that we will arrive at this time. She told us its ok. When we arrived to the village it was practically impossible to find the place at night. Its a little bit off the town and the streets signs are very poor. We couldnt ask anybody, there werent any people at this time. The owner didnt pick up any of our like 20 desperate calls. After one hour of cruising the whole area we found one hotel that wasnt closed and we were lucky that a nice man from this town knew the house and escorted us directly there. Big thanks to him. Without his help I think we couldnt find this place. Other guests who we talked to believed also that the place its harder to find. One hint for the future guests - there is no sign to this house but only to pension Elfi and the house is located directly behind it. The phone availability of Anneliese was not very good in general (she told me the phone is not directly in her house or something like that...). Besides this difficulties its a nice place to stay, doesnt matter families or traveling groups.

Review 10：Due to internal arrangements of the owners we stayed at Pension Elfin. We stayed in an apartment with a balcony overlooking a glorious view. It was a wonderful stay and we would fully recommend this Pension and this area to anyone who wants glorious scenery and a place to stay away from busy tourist areas.

Review 11：The location is not so good for travelers without personal vehicle. To find this place with a car, maybe it is better that you can speak German so as to ask the locals.

Review 12：Comfortable and large room for three people with even a shower inside the room. Nice kitchen where you can cook every time. If you want to go to the restaurant there are also three possibilities. Face to the mountains and located in a very quiet village. Good value for money.

Review 13：On arrival, I thought the owners could have been a bit more outgoing and talkative. I try to keep in mind possible cultural differences were the reason for the lack of enthusiasm.

Review 14：The location was nice for excursions to both Gosausee and Halsatt. Bathrooms were very clean and so was the bedroom/bed. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Bed was easy to sleep on.

Review 19：Analise speaks no English...none whatsoever. Internet was available, but only downstairs in the reception area. Breakfast or coffee not provided, but can be arranged as an option. We had an excellent breakfast for 6.50 CHF (Orange juice, scrambled eggs & ham, coffee) at the little caffe down the street.

Review 20：This was a delightful location in a small Austrian village with jagged snow capped peaks only 5 minutes away. The view is fantastic from the balcony. Hallstatt, (the most beautiful lakeside village in Europe), is only 15 minutes away by car. A car would definitely be beneficial in this area. We took the gondola up to the mountain and did some excellent hiking in wonderful Alpine scenery. The room was immaculate and all of the facilities excellent.

Review 35：The room was nice and clean with a great view. Even that the showers and the Toillet were on the hallway there was clean and in good condition.

Review 36：The location is a little hard to find . We don't drive so we took a bus from the train station, if you do the same, remember to turn into the small road that has a sign "Zimmer" and follow the trial with turning on the first crossroad to the right. There was no wifi signal in the room, but it is fine for us, we only stay for one night, and it feels good to be away from internet,work,ppl for a while, but might be a problem if you choose to stay for a week..

Review 37：We are happy with our stay there. We travelled from Vienna to Hallstatt, and booked this place for stay over for one night. The mountain view is beautiful, more so if on a clear day. The staff are very nice, the room is warm and tidy. The price is cheap too, value for money choice.
